Kacie's POV

I woke up feeling extremely dehydrated, probably from all the champagne and wine I had drank tonight to celebrate Jacky and Charlotte's engagement. I looked up at the clock realising I had only gotten into bed a good hour ago. I got out of bed and went into the kitchen to get some water, I filled up a glass and looked over to the sofa to see if Ronnie was asleep. But I couldn't see him, I could hear his voice coming from Deven's bedroom. I went over to the door and leant my ear against it to see if I could hear what they were saying. Ronnie was apologising to her about something and I was confused as to what then he said he would stay with her tonight. I felt a little nauseaous about the whole situation and I was about to burst into the room but... I could trust Ronnie not to hurt me and Deven was my best friend and I doubt she would try to screw us up. I heard the quilt cover rustle and then it fell silent. I went back into my room to try and get back to sleep.

The next morning I decided to pretend everything was okay so as soon as I caught site of Ronnie fast asleep now on the sofa I crawled on top of him and started to kiss him, he woke up and smiled at me "Hey baby" I just stradled his hips and began to make out with him he traced my bottom lip with his tongue and I parted my lips. Ronnie was soon on top of me and I was pulling at his shirt.

 Deven's POV

I woke up the next morning and stretched, grabbing my phone to see if Vic had called me back yet but he hadn't, instead I woke up to a text and missed call from Max Green which I thought was highly unusual seeing as we hadn't spoke in a very long time. I read the message

Max Green: Do you still have my old Bass by any chance babe? x

I rolled my eyes I did still have that Bass, Max had tried to teach me to play it but it didn't really work out I text him back saying I did and that I would drop it off in a bit. I got up and went out into the kitchen seeing a full on make out session that Ronnie and Kacie seemed to be having over on the sofa. I made sure I was extra loud when I slammed the fridge door. I looked over and Ronnie had clambered off of her and was sat up instead wiping his mouth. I laughed at the pair of them and poured some juice. I was felling a lot better today and for some weird reason I think it was because me and Ronnie had finally made friends and I felt as though I could talk to him about anything at all. I sat at the kitchen table only for Charlotte to appear next to me "Good morning" she said to me I smiled at her and then asked if she wanted some juice she nodded and I went and got her some. Ronnie came into the kitchen "Do you want dropping off back at Jacky's?" he asked Charlotte as I passed her the cup. She nodded once again and I looked up at Ronnie "You couldn't give me a lift to Max's apartment could you, I need to drop something off for him" Ronnie gave me a strange look and then Kacie came over "Erm Oh I'll come too you know just to give you all company" Ronnie gave her a strange look "I thought you were going shopping?" She parted her lips

"It can wait" Ronnie looked at her oddly again and then nodded for us all to follow. I went into my room and grabbed the Bass guitar from under the bed.

We had dropped Charlotte off and I was now directing Ronnie to Max's apartment "I'll go with you" Ronnie announced as he undid his seatbelt I looked at him weirdly "Are you sure that's a good idea Ronnie?" Kacie was looking at us

"In that case I will also come" Ronnie looked at her

"Kacie what is your problem today? Look We won't be long" Ronnie assured her and she suddenly looked like she was going to burst into tears but then nodded. Ronnie followed me up to Max's apartment and I knocked on the door. Max answered and looked between me and Ronnie "Oh Hey"

"Yeah here's your Bass" I said as I handed it to him. The meeting was pretty short and there were a few hugs involved before he closed the door Ronnie grabbed my shoulders as I walked towards the stairs of the apartment complex he turned me around "Have you noticed Kacie has been acting weird today?" I shrugged

"Not really why?"

"Well she's being really affectionate and she hasn't been like this since our honeymoon, she won't leave me alone" I shrugged unsure of what he was talking about

"Maybe she's horny" I joked and he laughed as we carried on walking back to the car "I will talk to her at work later about it if you like?" Ronnie nodded as we both got back into the car.

"So do you want me to drop you off at the shopping mall?" Ronnie asked Kacie as he drove us down the highway she nodded "To be honest you both have to pick out an outfit for tonight" I thought for a second I didn't think we had any plans for tonight. Ronnie looked to her for a second "Why where are we going?" he asked her and she smiled

"Did Jacky not tell you that him and Charlotte were holding a little party tonight to celebrate their engagement?" Ronnie shook his head

"Well it's an elogent party so we can get you both something smart to wear" I rolled my eyes as Ronnie pulled up into the car park and we all clambered out. I didn't quite understand why both Jacky and Charlotte wanted me at their fricking engagement party but ahh well.
