Prompt: Val finds out his mom has cancer and Jenna comforts him

Val's pov
I get a call from Maks during practice. I sit on the steps and listen.
"Hey bro"
"I've got some bad news"
"What's up"
"Mom just found out she's got cancer"
"What" I say.
"Yeah they just called me, and they were gonna call you but they didn't know how to tell you"
"Uh well send them my love and I've got to go I'm in practice"
"Okay will do"
I hang up.
"I'm gonna go take a break real quick" I say. I go out of the room and walk up to the roof. I sit down and look at the view. I let tears fall out of my eyes one by one. I might never see my mom again. Next time I was planning on going was Christmas. I start crying harder, I've never cried this much before.
"Val" I hear Jenna question. Shit not her, she can't see me crying.
"Val what are you doing up here" Witney asks.
"Just letting off some steam"
"What's up" Jenna said sitting down next to me.
"Nothing" I say.
"Val were you crying" Witney asks with a chuckle.
"No" I say letting another tear fall.
"What's wrong" Jenna asked.
"Oh my god Val Chmerkovskiy is crying" Witney said.
"Wit" Jenna said.
"What"
"Go back to the studio I'll be there in a minute"
Witney walks away.
"I'm sorry about her"
I hear the door close to go back inside and I break into tears again.
"Val really what's wrong, please tell me"
"My mom has cancer" I say falling into her. She wraps her arms around me. I feel her rubbing my back trying to sooth me. I cry harder into her chest. I look down and realize I'm crying on her boobs. I pull out of her. She grabs my face and wipes the tears off.
"Do you wanna go home"
"Yes but"
"Don't worry I'll drive" she said. She helps me up and keeps her arm around me. We walk through the hall and get weird looks from a lot. Jenna grabs her keys and we get in her car. I start crying more thinking of my car rides I used to have with my mom. Jenna gets to a red light. She puts her hand on my knee.
"Val it's okay"
"No it's not" I say crying harder. She starts driving again. She doesn't turn down my street.
"Jenna you missed the turn"
"No I didn't we're going to my house"
She parks her car in her driveway and walks in with me. We sit down on the couch. I lay my head on her shoulder. She turns on the tv.
"Can we cuddle" I ask her.
"Aw of course we can"
She lays down and I lay on her chest.
"I've seen a guy that so cuddly"
"Um uh"
"No it's fine, I like it" she said holding me.
"What movie do you want to watch"
"Anything is fine with me"
"Val just pick a movie"
"I guess the notebook" I said.
"You like the notebook"
"Yeah" I say.
"Don't get defensive I think it's cute. You're like the perfect guy"
"What"
"Your like the perfect guy" she said quietly.
"Well your the perfect girl" I say kissing her cheek.
"Thanks" she said. I lay my head back on Jenna.
"Can we do this again tomorrow" I ask her.
"Of course, we can cuddle whenever" she says.

The next day
I finish my practice and find Jenna in the kitchen.
"Hey" I say kissing her cheek.
"Hey" she said smiling.
"Um can we cuddle"
"Val I have practice in 10 minutes"
"But you said we can cuddle whenever. Please baby" I beg. Jenna looks over at Lindsay and wit.
"Okay but only for 30 minutes"
"As long as I'm with my girl I'm good"
We go to another room and cuddle.
"When did I become your girl"
"I don't know, I'll only call you it if you want me to"
"I do want you to call me it"
"Good" I say.
"Now you can be my boy"
"Boy"
"Man" she corrected herself. I close my eyes in comfort.
"You make me so happy even in the worst times"
"That's nice to hear" she said cuddling into my shoulder.
