   Learning god abilities

Shadow sitting still concentrating while Sonic and Tails play with the blue bird. Shadow sat up as he sense someone, near then someone threw a rock directly to Shadow. Shadow grabbed it and smash it with his hand, the fox kid that was bothering Tails back at the orphanage, "Hey look it's the group of weirdos in the middle of the forest" said Brandon, "Oh no it's Brandon" said Tails, "Look they have a friend another weirdo to the pack" said the orange raccoon, "Casey take it easy maybe he is just some abandon brat" said Brandon the three of them surrounded Shadow, Shadow got mad glaring at them. "Oh hi it's you guys again" said Sonic standing standing up and going to them, "Well if it isn't that kid that made us look bad" said Jace, "You guys started" said Tails, "Oh really? What do you have their?" Brandon ask he looked down at Sonic's hands where he had the bird. "It's a little bird want to hold it?" Sonic asked smiling at them sweetly, Brandon slap Sonic's hands making the bird fly away scaring it, "Wait don't go!" called Sonic reaching for the bird that flew away. Sonic looked sad he lowered his ears and started to sob, Shadow leaned over and looked at Sonic's face he notice Sonic had little tears in his eyes he was sobbing and wiping them away. Shadow looked at him surprise and then glared at the kids, "Awww did I scared the little birdy?" Brandon and his friends started to laugh. Shadow got mad and grabbed Brandon by the shirt throwing him on the floor, Brandon flip him over and punch his stomach. "Stop leave him alone" said Sonic, Brandon threw him against a tree. Tails and Sonic went to Shadow, "Stop you can't fight against them" said Tails, Shadow push Tails away and looked over at Sonic, Sonic looked at him sad and worried. Shadow got up and tackle Brandon against he started to fight against all three, "He... is so determined by emotion" said Tails, "What?" Sonic asked. Shadow started to fight against all three, they got back up as they were hurt by Shadow, "You'll pay for this kid!" Brandon yelled running away with his two friends. Shadow was tired he pant a little and sat on the floor, "I understand" said Tails getting next to Shadow and Sonic was on his other side. "You were just getting back at them for making Sonic cry" said Tails. Sonic kneeled down next to Shadow, "Is that true?" Sonic asked, Shadow moved his head down and looked at Sonic, Sonic made a big smile his cheeks had a little blush and he hugged Shadow's neck, "Thank you!" Sonic cuddle his cheek to Shadow making him blush. Sonic giggled a little, Tails smiled at them "Well you two are good friends" said Tails, "Yeah Shadow and I will be great friends" said Sonic still hugging him. Shadow got up and continue to walk with Sonic and Tails following him. The walk through a thinner path in the forest, "Why is the path turning so thin?" Tails asked, Shadow stop and Sonic bump behind him, "Huh? why did you stop?" Sonic asked, Shadow pointed at the cave, "The cave? We have tho go through there?" Tails asked scared, Shadow nod. "Well it looks like fun to me" said Sonic looking at it, "But it's dark" said Tails. Shadow rolled his eyes and started to go inside the cave. Sonic smiles at Tails, "Don't worry Shadow is our big brother now" said Sonic giggling. Sonic grabbed Tails hand and follows Shadow, Shadow touched the walls to find his way through and the path was getting darker. "Huh how are we going through if it's too dark to see?" Tails asked scared, "Shadow is brave, he must know how" said Sonic a little scared. Shadow looked around and then looked back at Sonic, Sonic was looking at the floor trying to see where he's walking on. Shadow made a flashing light with his hand, it looked like he had a clear yellow ball on his hand, "Wow you can do that?" Tails asked looking at it. Sonic went to him, "That's cool!" Sonic said excited, Shadow wonder why Sonic was amazed by everything he did if they were both gods isn't he suppose to know that move at least. Shadow grabbed Sonic's hand and have him the ball since Shadow had no problem seen in the dark without it, he was tough to concentrate in his instincts. Sonic was curious and with a finger he wanted to touch it, they started to hear noises Tails got scared and hugged Sonic, "What's that?" he asked. Sonic moves his ears trying to hear what was that, "I don't know but.... It sounds scary" said Sonic, "Then why don't you look scared?" Tails asked, Shadow looked up and saw many bats, Sonic looked up and used the light ball to see better. All the bats came down and started to fly away directly to their direction, Shadow cover his face, Tails hugged Sonic tight "Sonic!" he yelled. "Get down!" Sonic said pushing him the ground. Sonic got on top of him protecting him from the bats, the bats pass by quickly Shadow had a cut on his cheek but he wipe the blood away, "Hmm!" he hummed. Tails tremble a little "I don't like bats" he said looking at Sonic, Sonic was bleeding a little since his quills have cuts. Tails sat up and saw them, "Are you okay?" he was worried, "Yes.. I'm fine.. What is this red liquid?" Sonic asked licking it, "Sonic don't that's blood everyone has it deep in their skin when we are cut or hurt badly it comes out" explained Tails, Shadow went over to them. Shadow put his hand on Sonic's cuts and used his power to heal them making the blood go away. Sonic looked up at him and smiles, "Thanks Shady" said Sonic giggling.

Shadow just continue to walk deeper in the cave, "Why is he like that?" Tails. "Maybe he was born like that" said Sonic, Tails got up and grabbed Sonic's hand they continue to follow Shadow till they made it to a end, "Now what?" Tails asked. "hmm...... There must be a secret door" said Sonic, Shadow put his ear on the rocky wall and felt like there was something the other side, Shadow stood back and gave the wall a strong punch knocking it down, "Ah! How? .... He knocked the wall down with one punch" said Tails. Sonic was amazed and hugged Shadow's back, "That was so awesome" said Sonic, "Hmmm?" Shadow looked back at Sonic then back at the other room it was light up with a clear blue light. Shadow pointed at that direction, "There is something over there?" asked Tails as he saw the light. Sonic holds Shadow's hand, "Should we go there?" Sonic asked. Tails ran into the light he was amazed the entire room looked so bright it was like filled with mirrors of different colors, but they were actually giant jewels. Shadow walked to the light and saw all those mirrors he was amazed by them. Sonic was distracted by the mirrors, "This looks pretty" said Sonic with a finger on his lower lip, Shadow looked around and looked at himself in the jewels reflection as well as Sonic and Tails did. "This is so cool I wonder how no one in the village never found this" said Tails, "My children" was a voice that echoed in the cave. Sonic hide behind Shadow, "Shadow who is that?" Sonic asked. Shadow went to a crystal that was there in the middle of the room, "Hey!" called Shadow, Sonic went to Shadow. Sonic went to Shadow, Shadow raised his hand a little and stretch it over to the crystal but didn't touch it he was waiting for Sonic to do the same. Sonic saw him and did the same smiling, Tails was watching carefully as he saw both of them. Shadow and Sonic touch the crystal at the same time and the room turned green with 4 crystals floating around, "My Children" said the image of there supreme god Zeus who was a white hedgehog with blue and green eyes his quills were all sticking up, "Sonic... Shadow" said the god smiling at them. "Whoaaa... You're big!" Sonic said smiling and raising his hands up, "Very good eye Sonic what else would you expect from Zeus?" He asked, Tails was shock he had just meet Zeus the god of all gods. "I'm so glad I got to see you for the first time" said Zeus. "First time?" Sonic asked curious, "Yes I am the one who send you here to this world the god of dreams and the god of ideals you together with someone else were send here to complete a mission" said Zeus. "A mission?... May I ask you a question?" Sonic asked, "Yes" said Zeus. "Every kid have parents.. Do I have one?" Sonic asked, "Yes you do, Sonia the hedgehog goddess of rights and Dannez the god of defense" said Zeus. "Me want to meet them" said Sonic excited to hear that, "You may meet them but not know, I am here to tell you about your mission and your powers" said Zeus. Sonic was a bit sad about that but keeps smiling, "Alright" he said, "Good your mission is to help a village that has asked for your help, your power are something you will discover new every day but I will tell you your basic elements, Sonic you have been gifted with the 4 different elements. Earth, speed, snow, and kindness, and with the most unusual ability" said Zeus, "Yes?" Sonic said amazed by that. "Yes you have the sweet charm with you" said Zeus, Sonic giggled and holds his hands together behind him and swing back and front. "It's a strange ability but you will find out soon what it can do, and now you Shadow yes you have the most unusual attacks as well, your is speed, dark, electric and faith also you have the ability to identify ideals and make them real" said Zeus, Shadow was surprise as he never knew that about himself. Sonic looked at Shadow and smiles, "That's why Shady is strong" he said, "Yes but I see the other one isn't with you" said Zeus. "Other one?" Sonic asked, "The one you have been looking for us none other than Shade the god of truth he is Shadow's twin brother" said Zeus, "Shadow have a twin brother? That's nice! We can be friends too" said Sonic. "Yes Shade's abilities are strong as well, dark, speed, fear, and electric his ability is to luck the truth behind everyone's potential" said Zeus. "He sounds like Shadow, right Tails?" Sonic asked looking back, "Yes he does" said Tails, "Well Shade is more rough than Shadow you will recognize him fast, you might meet him on the next village from here, take care my children and be careful" said Zeus. "Thanks mister God" said Sonic smiling, Zeus disappeared making the cave turn back to it's normal color. Shadow went over to a crystal and yank a piece taking it with him, Sonic went to Tails, "What do you think of what he say to us?" Sonic asked. "I don't even know what to say, you never told me you both were gods" said Tails, "I forgot to mention it" said Sonic. Shadow saw the way out and went to Sonic he grabbed his hand and pointed outside, Sonic smiles, "Shadow found the exit" said Sonic, "Good we can get out sooner" said Tails. "Yay! Let's go Shady" said Sonic.

They all walked out the cave and they notice that a village was very close, "Look it's a village we can stop by to eat something" said Tails as he was hungry. "Let's see if we find something soon" said Sonic, they walked to the village and saw a few things that looked blown up, "Oh my what happen here?" Tails asked. Sonic was looking around, "Hello?" Sonic called, a cat woman with her kitty daughter came out from the house they looked over at Shadow, "HIS BACK!" she yelled holding her daughter close as they both started to scream. "Who is back?" Tails asked then a group of guards surrounded Shadow and pointed at him with their gun. Sonic got in front of him, "Wait you're getting the wrong person" said Sonic. "Move kid he is a danger to us all" said the guard, "No please listen we just got here we don't know what happen" said Tails. "We are saying the truth sir, Shadow is new here like us" said Sonic, ".... How do we know your not lying?" asked the guard, "Because it's true" said a chameleon guy not too far it was the same baker that gave Sonic bread in the last village. Sonic smiles, "Mister baker!" "This two kids were in the last village and they just happen to come here a few minutes ago so he is not the one responsible for the disaster" said the baker, "Believe us please" said Sonic. After a moment the guards moved their guns away, "Alright we believe you" they said. Sonic smiles, "Thank you guards" said Sonic, "But that still won't repair the damage the other one has caused" said the guard looking around. "What happen here?" Sonic asked, "It was a young boy one that looked like your friend their came to our village... everything was fine till it all went down hill he suddenly started to attack everything just because a man wouldn't give him a apple so he could feed himself" said the guard. "That's not nice of him" said Sonic, "Yes after that he said to think twice before challenging a god like him" said the guard, "So he looked like Shadow and he is a god those that mean...?" Tails asked. "Shadow, that must be Shade" said Sonic surprised, Shadow looked surprised as well he looked at everything that was destroyed, "He even destroyed our harvest now it will take months for those to grow again and we have nothing to feed our village" said the guard, "That's bad" said Tails. Sonic headed to the harvest, "I'll be back quick" he said, "Where are you going?" Tails asked. Sonic got there and looked at the ground. He touched the dirt and tap it, "Come on plants, we need your fruit and vegetables for these poor people" said Sonic gently. The dirt glow a green light and the harvest grew fast and bigger Sonic raised his hands making it all grow more and more. The villagers were astonish and went over to their harvest, "Thank you plants" said Sonic smiling and put his hands together and closed his eyes with a sweet smile in his face. The people of the village smiled and some even cried tears of joy, "The gods have answered our prayers!" they said, "Young man what is your name?" a villager asked. "I'm Sonic the hedgehog.. God of dreams" said Sonic sweetly, "The village thanks you young god... Please let us make a feast in your honor" said the villager the others clap at him, "Wow you heard that Shadow a feast in honor of Sonic" said Tails. Shadow couldn't stop staring at Sonic, "Why? Why is he that way? His mission is not to help this mortals but he helps everything who is he and why is he so different?" Shadow thought as he couldn't get his eyes off Sonic. Sonic scratches the back of his head and giggles, Shadow then quickly turned back into a poker face.

That night they decorated the village with natural flowers and they put a big table for everyone they were getting things ready for the feast, Tails was helping them. Sonic was playing with a flower that he have in his hands, "Shady why they are doing this for me if I just helped them?" Sonic asked, Shadow was sitting down leaning against the tree with his arms crossed, while Sonic was in the other side of the tree. Shadow didn't answer him, "Shadow? Are you listening?" asked Sonic he went to the side of the tree and looked at Shadow. Sonic kneeled and touched his shoulder with a finger, Shadow looked over at Sonic "Why are you always glaring at things?" Sonic asked. Shadow looked away from Sonic not showing his face, "I don't glare it's just the way I am" Shadow said. "Ohhh but are you mad at me?" Sonic asked, Shadow looked over at him "No just thoughtful" he said but Sonic didn't saw his lips move, "Why?" Sonic asked sitting next to him staring at his face. "Why? Why do you help all this mortals? Your mission is to help the mistakes from the other village not this one" Shadow question Sonic, "Well they needed our help it be wrong if we just walked away from them, when they need us the most" said Sonic. Shadow looked down, "Everyone was born to care" said Sonic, "Hey Sonic! It's time the feast is about to begin" called Tails. "Come on Shadow" said Sonic getting up and offering him a hand, Shadow grabbed it as Sonic helped him get up they went to the table and each was served a place with plenty of food, "You may all eat as much as you want" said the villager, "Thank you very much" said Sonic giggling.

After a nice feast of food it was time for some rest an they lead Sonic, Tails and Shadow a little home where they could be there and rest for the night. Sonic and Tails sleep on the bed while Shadow was sitting on the floor leaning his back against the wall sleeping. He was actually dreaming about the village being attacked, he ran around searching to see what it was and found a black figure he was shock when he got closer he though he was looking at himself in the mirror. Shadow's eyes opened he looked around and notice it was a dream but he couldn't help but thinking his twin brother and how easy he could be mistaken by him.
