  Words of hope
Three years had pass at Sonic's crystal castle was built but with the years it grew bigger and was turning everything in it's path to crystals. Sonic once more found him self in the state of loneliness for those 3 years since the castle had created a giant crystals protecting the castle locking Sonic in. In the silent of the castle only his steps could be heard as he walked around the castle.
"For so long I have been sad and alone,
Here is my castle of crystal and stone.
Springs warm song will
comfort me till your here"

The blue hedgehog sang his sorrows away as he was to stay in there alone. Sonic's book had been working for some time but after a few things they return to being a disaster. He sat on his bed as he was in his room, he looked down at the book shaking his head and threw it away. As the book fell on the floors the letters of all of Sonic's sentences seem to come out in little crystal squares like as if they were some kind of word puzzles. Sonic kneeled on the floor grabbing them, "They are letters" said Sonic with a little smile. He began to play with them making sentences he notice he had formed the word 'family'. Sonic began to grab other letters and form them 'Shadow and me together as a family'. Sonic couldn't hold in his emotions much longer as a tear fell on the words "It's been three years... Don't make me wait please, I want you here right now" Sonic closed his eyes tight as the stream of tears continue to fall. The words began to glow a bright light but vanish before Sonic could open his eyes. As soon as he did he saw that words had disappear "Huh? Where did they go?" Sonic looked around but he was surprise deeply as he saw a guy on a strange dark coat. Sonic gasp lightly, "I am the guardian of the words my wish is to serve your needs" he said. "...Does that mean you'll stay?" Sonic asked, he nod though his face was unrecognizable since the coat cover most of his face. Sonic could see his glowing red eyes only, he jumped and hugged him tight "Thank you" said Sonic. The coat guy looked over at Sonic and petted his back, Sonic let go of him smiling. The castle began to shake a bit Sonic looked up "They are attacking again" Sonic said worried. The coat guy vanish reappearing in the roof of the castle the crystals separated a bit giving the strange coat guy vision of the sky. There were helicopters shooting with big bazookas at the castle trying to get it to break. The coat guy saw they were marked "GUN" and so he stretch his hand creating a big beam shooting it at them knocking the helicopter down. More helicopters came out and began to shoot as well, the coat guy created a blast this time with both hands disintegrating the ammo and knocking down the helicopters.
He return to Sonic after his job was done, "Where were you?" Sonic asked as he seemed somewhat anxious. "I was taking care of the problem it won't be a bother anymore" he informed Sonic. "What did you do to them?" He asked, "I just shoot down their helicopters". "Oh my gosh are they okay?!" Sonic asked worried, "They are fine don't you worry they landed down safely" said the coat guy. Sonic sigh "You should be more careful when it comes to that I know you want to protect this place as well but even though we can't hurt them" said Sonic. The coat guy nod, "What is your name?" Sonic asked, ".... Call me Dark" he said. "I'm Sonic the hedgehog" said Sonic sweetly. "Where did you come from?" Sonic asked, "I am brought here by your feelings of sorrow" he said. "Ohhh so it was that, this place has changed so much I don't know why?" Sonic asked, "What do you mean by changed?" Dark asked. "I remember people use to come by but now they don't anymore and instead this place was attacked its a good thing the castle has created this crystal walls around the place" said Sonic. "But still why would they do such a thing" Sonic lowered his head a bit in confusedness and sorrow. Dark raised his head "Sometimes things happen that we don't understand Sonic it's only natural" said Dark. Sonic tilt his head and grabbed Dark's hand that was on his chin "What do you mean?" Sonic asked, "Everyone and everything goes through a change sure everything seems fine at first but sometimes that doesn't last for so long. Once the complications start it will all be worth it for the final result" said Dark. "There will be another result for this problem?" Sonic asked, "Yes there will be" said Dark as he rubbed the side of his face. Sonic smiles gently, "I'm glad your here to help me" said Sonic, Dark nod. "Why do you wear that cape?" Sonic asked, "..." Dark stayed silent. "I can't even see your face how can you even tell where your going? Maybe you should take this off" Sonic reached over for the cape when Dark quickly grabbed it "No I must not remove it" said Dark, "Why?" Sonic asked a bit startle by the grab. "Its in my rules of the crustal book" said Dark, "Oh okay I'm sorry" said Sonic. "It's alright" he said.
In the apartment where Knuckles and the others stayed in the apartment were watching the news. "Things are getting worse and worse by the minute, the plants are slowly crystalizing if this keeps on this strange phenomenon will reach the city" said the cat reporter. "This still hasn't come to a end" said Silver as he felt angry in a way, "It has been over three years how much more do we have to wait?", "Silver calm down remember what Fleetway said" Rouge reminded him. "I'm tired of being held back we need to help Sonic he is out friend" said Silver, "I know Silver and if us not showing up helps him then we are helping him" said Rouge. "It doesn't feel like it" Silver said, Rouge could clearly see in his eyes how determine he was to help Sonic. "Silver I know your worried" Rouge petted his head gently, ".... I just can't wait anymore Rouge I am heading to the castle and help Sonic I want him to know I am still here and not wait any longer" Silver got up and walk away. "Wait Silver please don't make a rash move" Rouge called out but Silver ignored her heading towards the castle to help his friend. "Don't worry Sonic I am on my way to help" Silver said in his mind desperate to see and help his friend that he had not seen in three years and that he miss so deeply.
"This fool is going to ruin the plans" said Hades as he watch Silver from his small orb. "We need Sonic to stay this way and not reach his super form for another 3 years" said Hades with deep anger he didn't like when his plans were ruined and now more than ever since it was only 2 years away for his demons to be release. "Leave him to me I can stop him for you" said Nightclaw as he knew this was no difficult task and be easy to eliminate. "I will give you a boost but be sure to eliminate him" Hades said as he placed a little shadow in front of Nightclaw that would give him access to Silver quicker. Nightclaw step on it sinking in, Hades then turned to Scourge who was next to Mephiles like always he was force to be next to him. "Scourge" Hades said his name and so Scourge quickly made eye contact with him. "I don't expect you to fail me since you haven't" Hades said letting Scourge know he was going to give him a mission by that. Hades use his powers to lead the Midnight Soul sword towards Scourge. Scourge grab it amazed gazing at it, "Reclaim souls with it also you use it your defense it will only work at it's full power when you reclaim enough soul. It's time for you to meet Sonic and make sure he doesn't reach the god state" Hades explained clearly, Scourge nod as he was mostly glad in the inside he had time away as possible from Mephiles. As he was about to leave Mephiles had catch his arm and press his lips against Scourge's claiming a kiss from the other. "Make sure to be okay" said Mephiles as he let him go letting Scourge leave with no words to exchange. "Mephiles I have a special mission for you" said Hades turning to the other hedgehog, "Yes?" Mephiles ask "You will find Shadow and destroy him while he is vulnerable and on his own" said Hades giving Mephiles a blue bottle. Mephiles smirked with his evil thoughts as he grab the blue bottle "On it" said Mephiles as he proceed to walk out and complete his mission. "Your not going to win this round Zeus as soon as my demons are release two years from now I win" said Hades as he had a sand clock that showed how much time he had.
Silver had been flying as fast as he could "It feels like I am getting no where" said Silver to himself as he was half way there only. Silver quickly stop when he spotted the green demon chameleon, "Nightclaw?!" Silver was surprise and unfortunate to find the demon in his way. "You seem in a hurry where are you heading?" Nightclaw ask, "Me? I was just..." Silver pointed beyond him. "Sadly the path beyond here is forbidden to be pass through now if I were you I would return home" Nightclaw warned Silver as he had interrupted Silver not letting him explain. "Says who? Listen here I am not afraid of you and you won't hold me back" Silver confronted Nightclaw with no fear, Nightclaw stayed silent for a moment and then smirk "If that is how you want it then very well" he charge at Silver. Silver stretch his hands using his psychic powers he manage to stop Nightclaw and slam him down to the ground. "That should keep him down for a while" Silver said as he return to follow the path to Sonic's castle. Yet Nightclaw was in front of him with a clench fist he punch Silver right across the face, Silver felt like as if a big brick had hit him and break his teeth for how hard the punch was. Silver crash against a tree knocking it down by the force, Nightclaw flew down with his claws changing to a purple color as he charged with the intention of slashing Silver and poisoning him. Silver quickly rolled away making the attack miss, Silver used the tree lifting it with his powers and hitting Nightclaw with it. Nightclaw could feel the hit it wasn't that hard he shook his head, when Silver was going to hit him once more Nightclaw used his Tail whip attack splitting the three in half. Silver gasp and threw the pieces of tree at him, Nightclaw just grab them throwing them away. Silver tried to escape flying away in the moment thinking he could out speed him and at least escape. Nightclaw saw him he waited a moment knowing he could out run him easily. Nightclaw then flew up and reach out towards the other and grab his leg slamming him to the ground. Silver yelled as the slam was hard to take since it was a rocky end. Nightclaw pulled him up and chuckled as Silver hang there limp from his damage body then he kick Nightlcaw in the face making him growl angrily. "Your quiet a feisty one" he said seen how determine he was, Silver grin weakly "Thats funny, Fleetway says the same thing" said Silver. Nightclaw wrap his tail around Silver avoiding him to escape and tightening the grip "Ahhhh! ahhhh! Let me go!" Silver yelled as he struggle. "I will as soon as I see blood coming out if you" said Nightclaw smirking hoping to get his objective. "AHHH!" Silver screamed loudly giving Nightclaw the satisfaction of knowing of his suffering. Nightclaw continue to enjoy as he saw Silver suffer, Nightclaw suddenly felt a hit more like a kick on the side of the head getting him off guard loosening his grip on Silver enough for the golden hedgehog to grab the other and move away. Silver breath deeply and cough, "Your man is here to save your life once more" said Fleetway as he held him bridal style smirking with white all over his mouth, Silver raised a eyes brow "Why is your mouth white?" He ask. "I stop for ice cream on the way here they have a special two for one sail want the other one?" Silver as settling him down on the ground. Fleetway had two ice creams without him noticing and offered him a ice cream. "Your telling me your stop for ice cream instead of hurrying up to help me?" Silver asked neutrally waiting for the stupid excuse to be repeated. "Yup" said Fleetway, Silver glared at him and grab the ice cream and pulled Fleetway's pants placing the ice cream inside. "COLD COLD COLD!!!" Fleetway began to jump around dancing trying to get the ice cream out of his pants as it melted. "I should have known you would ruin this" said Nightclaw getting up from the attack and turn to them glaring. "Yup... Wow cold... No one touches my Silver but me" said Fleetway calming down after the ice cream was out. Nightclaw glared at him "I am going to finish you right now!" Nightclaw yelled, "Your not finishing anyone" said Knuckles floating in front of Nightclaw confronting him. "It's time for you and I to settle the score between us" Knuckles said determine to fight against Nightclaw to claim the victory he had waited for. "What makes you think you can win against me when you have failed before?" Nightclaw ask thinking it was absurd what Knuckles was thinking and saying. "You be surprise what I can do now" said Knuckles smirking feeling confident.
