The next morning, "THERE IS NO WAY!" Knuckles yelled, "I refuse you to come along with us" said Knuckles crossing his arms. "I agree for once with the red one" said Shadow, "Look I am sorry I swear just let me come along and I show you I really want to go along with you" said Fleetway. "You beat me up in the train" said Knuckles, "You work for Hades" said Shadow, "Not anymore I want to change please give me a chance" said Fleetway. "I don't know I mean yesterday you just attacked and today you want to change?" Rouge asked, "Love has changed me, specially the love I have for your friend here" said Fleetway grabbing Silver's cheek. "Hey don't get me involve" said Silver, "I mean you know what I mean right Sonic?" Rouge asked looking at him. Sonic put his hands on his hips, "Well I see someone who is willing to change and no one gives him a chance" said Sonic, "What Sonic?" Knuckles asked, "Look it won't kill us to let him come along" said Sonic. "For some reason I sorta felt Sonic was going to say something similar" said Shadow he went to Sonic and grabbed his hands, "Sonic are you sure? We can't just say that he use to work for Hades our enemy" said Shadow, "Shadow I'm not stupid I know, but right now if he says he wants to change why not give him the chance.. Who knows we might gain something from this, you have to start trusting me more" said Sonic. Shadow looked at him and nod, "Alright" said Shadow, "Right now I'm more worried for Tikal, Fleetway you can come along" said Sonic, "Yes!" Fleetway said he hugged Silver. "Stop it" said Silver pushing him away.

"Rouge can you help me?" Sonic asked, "In what?" Rouge asked, "I need to find someone called Espio he is assumed to be Tikal the echidnas husband" said Sonic. "Tika the echidna okay let me see" said Rouge as she started to check on her iPhone, it was taking her while but then she found something. "That's odd" she said, "What?" Sonic asked, "It says here Tikal died a long time ago" said Rouge, "What?" Sonic asked, "That must be a lie Sonic and I just saw her yesterday at the Effiel tower how can she be dead?" Shadow asked. "It says here she died years ago when she was just walking through the streets she was ran over by a car" said Rouge, "So why are you looking for a dead woman's husband?" Knuckles asked. "She can't be dead, we talked yesterday" said Sonic, "Maybe there is something she is not telling us" said Shadow. "Besides that her husband Espio the chameleon lives at the other side of the city" said Rouge, "Then lets go there pay him a visit" said Sonic, "Wait Sonic, you really want to do this? What if she was lying to us?" Shadow asked, "You always hesitate to help others Shadow but I promised Tikal I would help her and I'm going to do so" said Sonic. He started to walk away, Shadow got a bit mad by that and crossed his arms following Sonic. Sonic looked back at him and smiled Sonic didn't waisted any time he walked over to Espio's house. He started to knock on the door, "How are you so sure this is the house?" Shadow asked, "I'm not I'm just going to ask" said Sonic, the same chameleon from the Effiel Tower. "Oh it's you" he said, "Oh hi uhh sorry to bother you but I was looking for someone called Espio the charmeleon" said Sonic, "Yeah that's me" said Espio. "Huh? Really? We didn't know" Sonic said, "What is it that you came all the way for?" Espio asked. "May we speak with you?" Shadow asked, Espio nod and let them inside.

Sonic and Shadow were in Espio's living room and looked around curiously. Espio came in with some drinks and gave them to Sonic and Shadow, "What is so important that you came here for?" Espio asked. "We heard you have a wife, was she Tikal the echidnas?" Sonic asked, "Huh..." Espio looked down at the ground for a few moments. "Yes I use to have a wife, you see Tikal died years ago in a accident" said Espio, "Is that so... Can you explain what happen exactly?" Shadow asked. "What do you ask?" Espio asked, "Well to tell you the truth we spoke to Tikal last night at the Effiel Tower" said Sonic, "That's a lie it couldn't be her, she's dead" said Espio. "No she's not, she was the one who told us about you, I promise her that I would take you to her" said Sonic. Espio stayed silent he glared at the floor, "Please you have to come with us so you can see her" said Sonic, "I'm not going anywhere" said Espio, "But... She needs you" said Sonic, "She's gone" said Espio. "No you can see her trust me just come with me" said Sonic, "ENOUGH!" Espio yelled. The room was silent, Sonic stared at the chameleons face glaring at him. "I have no time for your ridiculousness, now leave both of you" Espio said. Sonic looked down and went out with Shadow, Espio closed the door behind them. "Mortals don't know how to appreciate the chance" said Shadow then he looked over at Sonic that looked worried. "Tikal..." Sonic said put his hand on his chest, "Sonic are you feeling alright?" Shadow asked putting a hand on his shoulder. "Uh?... It's Tikal ... What will I say to her?" Sonic asked. "Simple tell her the truth" said Shadow, "I know ... I have no other choice, I'm just too afraid of how will she act" said Sonic.

Silver was outside in the cafe, then he felt someone poke him on his shoulder. Silver looked behind him and when he looked at front he jump as he saw Fleetway there sitting. "Hello beauty your beast is here" he said, "What are you talking about?" Silver asked, "Have you ever heard of the story of Beauty and the beast?" Fleetway asked. "Yeah why?" Silver asked, "Good cause I haven't" said Fleetway then a waiter gave Silver a smoothie, "Enjoy sir" said the guy. "Thank you, so Fleetway where did you go this morning when I got up?" Silver asked, "In your pocket" said Fleetway. "What?" Silver asked, "Yes I shrunk and got into your pocket besides I notice you had a cute title green underwear" said Fleetway winking at him. "How did you- forget it! I don't understand how you can do that" said Silver. "I'm a god sweet heart I can do anything, even rape you" he said that last thing with a serious face almost frighting. "Uhhh okay" said Silver lowering one ear, "... You know I've always like you" said Fleetway looking at him carefully. "Yes I know" said Silver drinking his smoothie, Fleetway bit his lower lip staring at the way Silver drink his smoothie. Silver looks at him confused, "Something wrong?" Silver asked, "Nothing go on" said Fleetway. "You're staring at me strange" said Silver, "Don't I always do that?" Fleetway asked. "Okay" said Silver as he keeps drinking, Fleetway licked his lips and started to bite his index finger. Silver closed his eyes as the wind blows and his hair started to move, Fleetway went over to him and moved the smoothie away giving him a kiss on the lips. Silver was surprised by that, he started to blush a lot, Fleetway then let go, "Mmm strawberry" said Fleetway. Silver was touching his lips curious, "Oh you like that?" Fleetway asked.

Silver looks at him shyly, but he didn't stayed like that for long, he then glares at him, Fleetway kiss his cheek. Silver cleans his cheek, Fleetway chuckled then a little bird flew by the table and Fleetway grabbed it. He started to squeeze the little bird making it tweet desperately in pain, Silver gasped and punches Fleetway, "Don't hurt it!" Silver said mad. "You know your punches don't affect me" said Fleetway the bird keep tweeting desperately. Silver started to sobs and lowered his ears, "You can't kill it.. Don't" said Silver crying. "Why do you cry for such a useless creature?" Fleetway asked, "Let it go please" said Silver, Fleetway looked confused and let go of it. Silver cleans his tears and smiles a little, "Thanks" he said. Fleetway looked at him confused, "So your glad because?" Fleetway asked. "The bird is fine" said Silver, "But why do you care? That thing is not use for anything in this world" said Fleetway. "If I was the bird would you kill me?" Silver asked, "That's a stupid question" said Fleetway as he pulled a biscuit out of Silver's quills. Silver blinks in surprise and crossed his arms, "What it is? After all I learned that is you are not of use you don't have the right to live in this planet" said Fleetway. "What?" Silver asked, "Well that's how it works in the underworld you survive while you can and if you can't.. You die" said Fleetway. "Oh but this is different" said Silver getting up, "How?" Fleetway asked, "Don't know, well I'm leaving now to the store" said Silver. "Fine" said Fleetway laying back on his seat, "Things are different? Was Hades lying to us?" Fleetway though. "Huh?" Silver looks at him, "Uhmm want to come along?" Silver asked shyly, "I will go to see new clothes" he said, Fleetway appeared next to him, "Lead the way" he said putting a arm around Silver.

Sonic looked worried during his entire way to the Eiffel Tower, Sonic looked at the distance and saw Tikal in the same place. Tikal was very happy she was carving a heart and on it she wrote the initials of her name and Espio with a plus in the middle. "Today is the final day I wait" though Tikal, Sonic lowered his ears he wasn't sure he wanted to break the news to someone who looked so happy. "If you want to I can tell her" said Shadow, "No I'll tell her.. I mean after all I was the one who promised her" said Sonic as he walked over to Tikal and Shadow followed him. "Hello Tikal" said Sonic, "Sonic! I'm so glad I knew you would come back" said the echidnas looking around looking for someone, "And where is Espio?" Tikal asked smiling. Sonic looked down, "Tikal.... I'm sorry" said Sonic, "Huh what do you mean?" she asked, "Espio is not coming" said Sonic. Tikal's enthusiasm was destroyed she felt like she was at the top and had been push to the bottom. She looked down at the heart she made, "His not coming?" Tikal asked sounding a bit disappointed, "I'm sorry Tikal I tried to convince him... But he wouldn't listen, I'm very sorry" said Sonic lowly. ".... It's... It's okay ... He will eventually come" said Tikal she tried to make it seem like she was okay but it was a lie and continue to carve the heart to distract herself but accidentally broke it in half, the two pieces fall on the ground. Sonic watch her carefully he knew she was very hurt, Tikal leaned over to pick up the two pieces and looked at them, she felt it represent what she was feeling. Her eyes started to tear up and fall on the pieces, "... I'm use to waiting" said Tikal as she started to sob as she felt a sting on her heart feeling that she will never see Espio again. Sonic started to tear up with her and hugged her, Tikal started to cry in Sonic's chest. Shadow watch as the hedgehog and echidnas cried silently, Shadow lowered his head.

That night Tikal was a bit calm but Sonic could still see the sadness in her eyes as she keep carving other things like stars and jewelry. "So I'm dead" said Tikal, Sonic stayed silent. Tikal gaze at the ground, "This explains so many things" said Tikal. Sonic looked up at the night sky and had a idea, "Hey come with me" said Sonic grabbing her hand taking her to the grass they both sat down, "What?" Tikal asked. "Look up" said Sonic, Tikal raised her head looking at the night sky, "What is it?" Tikal asked. "You see the stars?" Sonic asked, "Yes" said Tikal, "Have you ever once tried to make a constellation?" Sonic asked. "Well I have tried it many times, I was alone for a long time so I entertained my self" said Tikal, "How about count each star?" Sonic asked, "What but that would take forever?" Tikal said. "Yes... But that's the best part when I was alone for a very long time I use to count the stars at night" said Sonic, "Did you manage to count them all?" Tikal asked. Sonic chuckled lightly, "No when I started to count I quickly lose the count or forget which star I count first so I started to count over and over" said Sonic. "But why?" Tikal asked curious, "When your alone for a long time you have the time in the world to spend, so why do someone that begging and ends when you can do something that would last forever?" Sonic asked. Tikal was surprise she looked up at the sky, "I never though of it that way ... Somehow I understand" said Tikal. "I learned that in my dreams they teach me more than I know" said Sonic. "It's been a long time since I last dreamed" said Tikal, "You don't have to be asleep to dream it's clearly you have allot of dreams like everyone else you mostly daydream" said Sonic. "Daydream yeah" said Tikal, "Your dream is beautiful Tikal, I want to help you complete it" said Sonic. "Thanks Sonic... But you can, my dream is forever to live with. Never to be granted and impossible to make ... I'm not but a angel who needs wings to fly away" said Tikal. Shadow listen carefully as they both talked, "I'm dead my dreams will never come true" Tikal. Shadow watch them and felt bad for once, he sat down on the floor, "Why can't I just find you Shade?.... The world has changed so much from the last thousand years... I never wanted our goodbye to end in a horrible fight" said Shadow. As he gaze at the ground with only the memory of his twin brother, "Where are you hiding Shade?" Shadow asked. He then watch carefully at Tikal and Sonic who keep talking to each other, "Mortals who stay in earth after death... How bizarre" said Shadow closing his eyes falling asleep. Sonic fell asleep next to Tikal he was pretty tired. Tikal was still looking at the stars "Do something that you will never finish?..." she asked.

The next morning Knuckles found himself obligated to follow Rouge to the cities for shopping. "Really in a time like this you just want to shop?" Knuckles asked, "Hey it's the least you can do for me, after all I don't want to remind you about the GUN" said Rouge. "Yeah yeah" said Knuckles, "After all I need to buy some make up, and new clothes to replace my old ones" said Rouge she was wearing short jeans color white and her shirt was a clear blue. She first enter the jewelry store and saw all the pretty ones that bought her eye the real gold, and shiny accessories she loved and bought tons of them. She went to the clothe store buying many clothes as well, Knuckles was left carrying many bags for Rouge, they were now in a perfume store. Knuckles was a bit annoyed, Rouge was checking the perfumes and spray some on her wrist and smelled it, "What do you think of this one?" Rouge asked putting it near Knuckles nose. "Just choose one so we can leave" said Knuckles, "Geez fine you men never have patient for shopping" said Rouge as she finally chose one. They went outside and Rouge called a taxi that went to them, "See that was fun" said Rouge, "Well your not the one who had to carry many bags" said Knuckles. "Yeah whatever you say, besides I'm getting signals and news that we are being wanted, but lucky the news hasn't been spread worldwide yet it is a GUN news so there might be a possibility it might spread soon" said Rouge. "Then we better hurry up and find this Shade-" Knuckles froze for a moment, "Hey is there something wrong?" Rouge asked. Knuckles felt a strange energy coming from far behind. "get down!" he yelled getting on Rouge as someone had just shoot at them a strong beam.

From not too far a strange creature of purple with yellow eyes he seemed to be some of chameleon but he had no horn and his tail had some spikes. he also had three claws very sharp in each hand and feet, had shoot them. He looked up as he saw Knuckles slowly come down holding Rouge bridal style. Knuckles then got down and let go of Rouge, "The nerve of some creatures" Rouge put her hands on her hips and went close to the demon, "You know how much money I have waisted on all those things" said Rouge she looked down and saw the clothes that she bought all ruined. "You better have enough money to pay all of that now" said Rouge mad, Knuckles knew he wasn't normal his energy was different then he quickly went to Rouge pulling her away. "What's the matter with you?" Rouge asked, "Go back to the hotel this creature is dangerous he seems to have a godly energy" said Knuckles. Rouge looked at the creature and nod but she didn't left she just went to hide and watch. "If I can get some kind of DNA from him maybe this can work" though Rouge, Knuckles confronted the strange creature. "I don't know what you are or who you are but attacking someone is not something I would consider good" said Knuckles, Demon stared at him, "They call me Nightclaw, I'm one of the 7 demon beyond the gate of the underworld" he said, "Underworld? So that means?" Knuckles though, "Yes I am one of Hades demons and now you will know, prepare yourself for a challenge" said Nightclaw. Knuckles and Nightclaw charged at each other and punch their faces at the same time. Then they back up, Knuckles charged at Nightclaw and jumped over him kicking the back of his head, Knuckles endure his punch making it bigger and a steel form, "Lets see how good can you resist my punch of steel" Knuckles yelled punching his back. Nightclaw flew crashing into the wall, Knuckles then started to shoot many small orbs that looked like beams at Nightclaw. Rouge was surprise she was watching carefully as they both battle, Nightclaw appeared in front of Knuckles afterwards and hit his knee on Knuckles gut and then used his elbow to hit Knuckles back of the neck. He grabbed Knuckles by the neck lifting him and started to electrocute him, "AHHHH!" Knuckles yelled. He tried to resist and get loose from Nightclaws grip, Knuckles quickly threw a punch at Nightclaw's face, in the moved Knuckles took the opportunity and punch Nightclaw's stomach so hard that he spit blood. Knuckles then threw him on the ground, "Maybe a energy blast will finish you off" said Knuckles as he then used a strong red beam at the demon.

Knuckles stop for a moment and checked on the demon that wasn't there anymore. "I guess that did finish him off" said Knuckles, "I'll be the judge of that" said Rouge as she grabbed some of the burned coal and put it on her watch. "Well bad news your wrong he is still alive and good news is I have some DNA you know what this means?" Rouge asked, "What?" Knuckles asked. "It means now I have more DNA to make more investigation and maybe this will help you unlock a way to defeat that demon" said Rouge. "Oh goodie" said Knuckles sarcastically then he was feeling a bit dizzy and fainted, "Knuckles!" Rouge crouch down to him, "Oh my he must have hurt you badly" said Rouge.
