  Meeting the new demon

Mephiles and Nightclaw had return to the underworld where Hades was but all that could be seen of him was a shadow of his form. "What have you brought back to me?" Hades asked, "We got the yellow chaos emerald" said Mephiles showed it to Hades. It was a yellow ball, "It is still frozen but as soon as winter is done it will all be over. In other words soon" said Mephiles. "Yes I know you turned Alice into stone, unnecessary but I will accept it besides I needed time to finish my new creation" said Hades. "Yes that's what I have been meaning to ask about the new demon" Nightclaw pointed out, "Yes he is incubating in the capsule" said Hades, "May we see him?" Mephiles asked. "Right this way" said Hades leading them, Mephiles and Nightclaw found the capsule it was hard to see the hedgehog's color but the liquid was green. "It looks like Sonic" said Mephiles, "You have a good eye, the hedgehog is biologically related to him, I created him with some of Sonic's DNA I manage to obtain when he was a pearl" said Hades, "So it's Sonic?" Nightclaw asked, "Not entirely he is different, you will call him Scourge and he will be your mate Mephiles" said Hades. "Hmm not bad I might like him" said Mephiles taping on the capsule making Scourge flinch and curl up more than what he already was. "He will escape any minute but just to make sure he is completed lets use the chaos emerald to complete the process" said Hades grabbing the round frozen ball and put it near Scourge. Scourge's body started to glow a bright yellow for a moment and then stop, Scourge was completely still then suddenly he opened his eyes. He looked around and his eyes had now a bright yellow color and destroyed the capsule, "Yes he is complete" said Hades. Scourge was a green hedgehog and his blue tear eyes gave him a perfect detail. Scourge looked around the place he was, he didn't knew much about it but he can tell by seen it. He then turned to the 3 creatures that were staring him Nightclaw was just staring at him wondering who he was or what he was. Scourge then turned his attention to the dark gray and chalk stripe hedgehog. He felt the hedgehogs green eyes all over him but Scourge wasn't dumb he knew what to cover. "Scourge you have awoken, how do you feel?" the dark shadow that was next to him asked. Scourge just looked up at him with no answer, "Yes your the quiet type aren't you?" Hades asked. Scourge just keep looking around finding out about his surroundings, "You need some clothes to cover yourself" said Hades he was thinking about what clothing give to Scourge. Hades gave Scourge a black and silver clothing, he had a best that in the middle was tied with a string. The vest was sleeveless with a fire designs and his pants were the same black with fire designs. "There" said Hades, Scourge got up and looked at his new clothing. "Scourge the hedgehog I assume you already know your reason for being created, so I don't have to repeat myself" said Hades. Scourge just stared at him, "And what exactly is that if we may know?" Nightclaw asked. "I want Scourge to retrieve the Midnight Soul" said Hades, "The sword?" Nightclaw asked. "Yes it is a very well design sword created specially for my job. But only way to retrieve it is if the lady of a mansion is willing to give it to you" said Hades, "So what is the plan?" Mephiles asked. "Scourge is going to retrieve it, he will go and get her confidence but I want you to be there Mephiles. Just in case his cover is blown you take action" said Hades. "It doesn't sound difficult" said Mephiles he went over to Scourge who just stared at him with a glare. "You were just created and now we get to work together" said Mephiles, Scourge turned away and then he felt warm lips on his neck he looked over at Mephiles a bit startled. "Don't get cocky" he whisper, "The mansion is far away from the city I will transport you there" said Hades. "Yes but how long do you think it will take for us to retrieve the sword?" Mephiles asked, "I give you about three days but I'm sure you will receive it in one day" said Hades. The purple shadow's wrapped around both hedgehog transporting them leaving Nightclaw alone.

Before they knew it they were in front of a palace the are wasn't snowy nor anything but the breeze was cold. "This seems to be the place" said Mephiles, Scourge didn't took his eyes away from the palace and went to speak with this lady. He just wanted to do this as soon as possible, "Halt your not allowed into the castle without identifying yourself" said a guard when Scourge was right about to open the door. "I'll deal with this" said Mephiles heading to the guards.

Scourge continue to walk inside as he looked around the palace checking the place as he walked through the hall way he saw a picture of a brown fox color a dark brown and the other little fox was a red one. She had a little yellow dress, Scourge looked away and out the mask on his muzzle. He likes to use it for a strange reason, his mission was clear he wanted to gain the sword and leave. He came across of what seemed to be the lady of the mansion, he knew because she was the only one that dress finer then others. "Welcome I am Fiona Fox this is my mansion" she said, her voice was a soft tone she quickly caught Scourge's eye as he saw the grace in her way of expression. "..." Scourge stayed quiet as he made eye contact with her, he didn't spoke he just did't like to to. "... Are you shy?" Fiona asked, Scourge scratch the back of his ear looking away. Fiona giggled at that, "My, I never had a visitor with such a different ... Way of expression but that's okay. This actually makes things more interesting for the both of us" said Fiona as she smiled sweetly at Scourge. Scourge felt something off his heart was beating and his cheeks were a red color, "Come on we shall discuss somewhere private" said Fiona grabbing his arm. Scourge felt odd by her touch and they keep walking, "This is the ballroom, this is where we have our dances, it feels good when someone ask you to dance. Have you ever tried it?" Fiona asked, Scourge stared at her and shook his head. "It's simple come here" Fiona grabbed his hands and started to dance with him, Scourge didn't knew what he was doing, "Just be relax" said Fiona. Scourge tried to relax and followed her lead, Fiona laugh as she felt happy dancing with Scourge. Scourge was thoughtful about the girl there was something about her that felt different, they then stopped. "You were good for your first try" said Fiona, Scourge gaze turned from Fiona to the door that was a bit open, he could clearly see it was Mephiles, was he staring at them all this time? "Yes well I almost forgot your purpose here. Why have you come here?" Fiona asked. "I can answer that" said Mephiles walking into the room straight to Fiona. "Who are you?" Fiona asked, "Lets just say I'm a very close friend of Scourge's, I am Mephiles the dark" he bowed. "We'll Mephiles since you and Scourge came together, maybe you can tell me your reason to come here" said Fiona. "Yes I will gladly explain everything to you Lady Fiona" said Mephiles, Scourge keep looking around while Mephiles spoke to Fiona. It was a long day and so night came, "This will be your room for the night" said Fiona showing it to Scourge, Scourge gaze at every figure in the room then stared at her smiling face. "What you don't like it?" Fiona asked, "Thank you" Scourge spoke lowly as his cheeks turned a pink color, "No problem anything you need ask me... Also I want you to accompany me at a ball I am having tomorrow if you don't mind in coming" said Fiona. Scourge had never been to a ball before but he had known already what things they do and the dance and so he nod letting Fiona know he was going. Fiona had a big blush on her face and hugged Scourge, "Thank you for accepting my invitation and have a good night sleep" said Fiona as she left exited. Scourge felt a warm feeling in his chest he seemed to enjoy the company Fiona gave him but felt a bit sad that she had left. Scourge laid down on the bed without noticing Mephiles presence in the room. "You seem awfully distracted from that woman, aren't I right?" Mephiles asked, Scourge just stared at Mephiles not talking. "Drop the act I know very well that you can talk just fine. Just to make things clear here you were created to be mine Hades needs strong "henchmen" so he made you so we can make a strong child" said Mephiles his tone seemed relax and not treating but Scourge knew that the main idea was to be treating. He turned his head away on the pillow showing that he couldn't careless of what Mephiles said or thought. He didn't care about much things he just wanted to get the mission over with, then he felt someone on the bed with him. Scourge looked up and saw that Mephiles was on top of him, Mephiles lowered his head and Scourge flinch turning away. He felt Mephiles lips and warm tongue on his neck, "Don't worry no man not woman would take you away from me, after all I find you quiet attractive and worth the fight" Mephiles spoke, Scourge struggle a little keeping his eyes shut tight as he continue to he feel a odd feeling by Mephiles neck kisses. "Please... Stop" Scourge slowly spoke, Mephiles stopped smirking staring at the hedgehog who felt more relived now that the kisses had stop. Mephiles got off the hedgehog giving him his space, Scourge turned on his side to see if he can get some sleep. "I'll see you tomorrow morning" said Mephiles. Scourge closed his eyes resting the night, when he opened it he was in a dark purple room surrounded by waves that looked like auras. Scourge looked around and saw something glowing not far. A sword that glow it flew right to Scourge's arms, "Is this is it? Midnight Soul?" He asked then the sword started to show some weird red Greek symbols. "It is the Midnight Soul... The sword of Hades" said Scourge as he grabbed it the dark purple sword terrifying with all the should that were used to kill the innocent.

Scourge opened his eyes and he was in the room, he looked around and saw none other. Scourge couldn't get the image of the Midnight Soul in his head, it was a perfect image. The dream felt so real, he got up and wash up before walking around the castle. He wanted something to eat so he went to the kitchen and grabbed something to eat, the chef was there and took the muffin Scourge had grabbed and took it away, "Sorry but your not allowed here" said the Chef. Scourge just stood there glaring at the Chef, he stared into his eyes the Chef seemed a bit uncomfortable before he knew it he felt lifeless. The chef felt like he had no strength he was dead, Scourge took the muffin back removing the mask from his mouth and took a bite of it leaving the kitchen as the chef went pale and fell on the floor. Scourge started to eat the cupcake it seemed to be blue berry in he seemed concentrated. Till a lady dressed in a light blue color caught his attention, "Good morning Scourge" said Fiona smiling at him. It was Lady Fiona it seemed strange since he saw her in a yellow dress the day before and now the clear blue dress with a blue bow on her head. "Nice to see you this morning, Mephiles and I had been talking lately, you seemed to be here because of the sword" said Fiona. Scourge was surprise that Mephiles would give so much information to Fiona on what they were after, "Well I will show you where it is but you have to promise me something" said Fiona. Scourge stared into her beautiful eyes that seemed to match her dress well. Fiona put her hands together intertwining her fingers, "That sword is very important to us as well as they say it is dangerous" said Fiona as she explained everything she had a serious face as she explained. "You have to understand Scourge, I don't tell this to anyone... But with you I have this feeling like I can trust you" said Fiona. Those words made Scourge feel special to know, but the truth was that he was going to betray her anyway but now that Fiona explained all and all the trust she had on him, made him think about things. He was thoughtful if he wanted to take the chance but he didn't wanted to hurt Fiona for some reason he cared for her more than anyone he would just meet yesterday.
