The god of truth

The next morning Sonic was waking up stretching and looked outside the window he saw Shadow, Shadow was already awake but it seems like he was doing something. Sonic came out of curiosity and watch what Shadow was doing, Shadow was using his power to see what he could do to the boulder. Shadow shoot a strong electric beam at it destroying the boulder, "Wow you truly are strong" said Sonic, Shadow didn't notice and looked over at Sonic. Sonic walked to him, "Your strong Shadow ... Stronger than I am that's for sure" said Sonic, Shadow looked over at the pieces of the boulder "You don't have to worry Shadow, I can tell your worry, I know what you dream last night I could tell" said Sonic. Shadow looked down, Sonic giggles "It's okay to fell anxious because your twin did all those things but I bet he is not bad we just need to find him" said Sonic, "Am I like him?" Shadow asked, "I don't really know I never seen him" said Sonic. A explosion was heard in the forest that it even woke up Tails, "What was that?" Tails ran outside and hugged Sonic. Shadow looked at the smoke and ran to the forest, "Where is he going?" asked Tails, "Come on!" Sonic grabbed Tails hand and ran to the forest behind Shadow. Shadow keep running seen the animals heading the opposite direction, Shadow then stop where the explosion was he saw the very small crater. Shadow looked around and saw nothing he got mad and hit the tree knocking it down, there he saw the back of a black figure he saw he had his same shape but his stripes were different he was purple. The other one turned around Shadow was shocked it seemed like he was looking himself in the mirror, the other one had his same face. The other hedgehog had the same clothing as Shadow but instead of red and gold it was purple and white. Shadow glared at him, "You... Your the god of truth aren't you Shade?" asked Shadow, "So your telepathic?" Shade asked but difference of Shadow he talked with his mouth. "I'm Shade and those who know me are only for one reason for a challenge" said Shade getting in attack position. Shadow got the same way, Shade went to Shadow and started to kick and punch which Shadow blocked. Shadow kicked him away, Shade took the kick but was still standing he went to Shadow and started to punch his gut very fast, he grabbed Shadow's arm putting it over his shoulder and flipping him over. Shadow hit hard the ground and he got up, he stretch his hand at Shade and shot a electric beam. Shade eyes widen as the beam hit him, Shade then got up and glared at Shadow, "Fine you want to play it that way lets play" said Shade he made two whips of electricity and started to hit Shadow. Shadow tried his best in blocking it but couldn't block them all, he bump into the tree when he looked up. Shade was charging at him with a powerful punch, Shadow closed his eyes waiting for the impact. But he was stopped by Sonic's orb that he had shoot to Shade stopping him. Shade looked over at Sonic, "Stop fighting!" said Sonic glaring at them, "You! How did you do that?" Shade asked, Sonic looked at him confused he went to Shade and gaze at him, "You look allot like Shadow" said Sonic. "Shadow?" Shade asked, "Yes you are Shade! I'm Sonic the god of dreams" said Sonic sweetly smiling at him. "Wait if your a god doesn't that mean....?" Shade looked over at Shadow who stood up and looked at him, "Your Shadow the god of ideals ... My twin brother" said Shade. "Like as if they couldn't look more alike" said Tails away in the tree, Sonic got happy and started to hug them together, "Yay we are together" said Sonic. Shade and Shadow looked at Sonic confused and blushing, "Then that means we get to complete our mission" said Sonic, "It seems that way" said Shade looking over at Shadow but Shadow turned his head away. Tails went to them, "What's going on here?" Tails asked, "Tails we found Shade that means we get to head to the village" said Sonic. "Ohh ... I see" said Tails he smiled a little, Sonic couldn't stop hugging both Shade and Shadow together.

They started to walk in the forest, "So Shade I wonder why you attack the village?" Sonic asked during the way, "It was a desperate time" said Shade. "Ohhh so you did it because you were hungry?" Sonic asked, "No... A villager wanted to take me as a hostage for something but I fought back" said Shade, "That's odd the villager's told us something else" said Tails. "They probably believed the other villager..." said Shade, "Well it's alright your with us, Shadow and I have been looking for you for a long time" said Sonic hugging his arm but Shade pulled it away, "I don't like that" said Shade, "Oh no worries" said Sonic putting his hands behind his back smiling at Sonic. Shade looked over at Tails, "What about this mortal?" Shade asked, "This is Tails we take him with us, he wanted to be with us since he was lonely he has been a good help" said Sonic, Tails looked frighten of him, Shade looked away from Tails. "This is a gods mission no mortal should be with us" said Shade, "Yes but Tails is staying with us at least till he finds a home" said Sonic, "Why?" Shade asked, "Leave it, if he wants it that was then let him" said Shadow, "Is he always like this?" Shade asked. "I assume" said Shadow, they went to a small stream that was ahead, "Look water" said Sonic going to the stream he went his face a little and then drank some water. Tails went next to Sonic ad drank some water as well, "It's refreshing" said Sonic.

They stayed there for a moment, Sonic started to jump from rock to rock, Shadow was leaning against a tree watching what Sonic was doing. Sonic then slip and fall on the water, "Ow" said Sonic. Shadow quickly got up and went to Sonic helping him up, "Can't you stay still for one moment?" Shadow asked he rubbed Sonic's forehead since he got hit hard their, "Why don't you talk with your mouth?" Sonic asked. Shadow looked at him, "Huh... I don't know how to speak correctly" said Shadow, "Oh then I will teach you" said Sonic. "How?" Shadow asked, "From now on no telepathy try with your mouth" said Sonic, Shadow nod lightly "Good now speak with me" said Sonic. Shadow waited for Sonic to show him, "I.." Sonic started to say, "I" Shadow repeated, "am" sonic continue, "Am" Shadow keep repeating, "Happy" said Sonic, "Hatpy" said Shadow. "Happy!" Sonic said, "Happ... Happ?" Shadow couldn't get the word in his mouth. "Ha... ppy!" Sonic said, "Happy" Shadow manage to repeat. Sonic clap at him, "Very good Shady" said Sonic laughing and clapping at him, Shadow felt like a baby he was embarrass and started to blush.

Sonic saw Shade sitting near the stream and he was a bit thoughtful, Sonic went to Shade and sat next to him. "Hi Shade want me to company you?" Sonic asked, "Do what you want" said Shade. "Why are you apart from us?" asked Sonic, "Because I want to.. I prefer to be alone most of the time" said Shade, "But don't you get lonely?" Sonic asked. Shade looked over at Sonic who had a cute curious face, "You'll get over that fact, you don't need to care" said Shade, "Everyone was born to care and everyone was also meant to share, so why don't I share my company with you" said Sonic cutely. Shade cross his arms, "How possibly you want to do that?" Shade asked, Sonic hugged his neck "By showing how much I care" said Sonic. Shade looked down at Sonic and blush, Sonic let him go Sonic put his hands in front of Shade. "Put the palm of your hands against mine" said Sonic, Shade did as Sonic asked him to do, "Lets play 'I love you this much'" said Sonic he stretch his arms widen, "I like you this much" said Sonic. Shade looked at him confused, but went ahead with it, "I like you this much?" Shade stretch his arms, "Wow you like me that much?" Sonic giggled and hugged his neck. Shade wrapped his arms around him, Tails smiled he never seen someone so sweet and confident as Sonic. Shadow sat down leaning against the tree, it was getting dark and they all decided to get some rest. Shadow was sleeping against the tree, Shade was on the other side sleeping in the grass and Tails was near a little fire they made. Sonic saw them all separated and he grabbed Tails moving him near Sonic on the tree, he went to Shade and pulled him to the tree as well. Sonic got in the middle of Shadow and Shade, the 4 cuddle together. Sonic turned his back on Shadow, Sonic felt he was grabbed by the waist. Sonic looked down and Shadow had his arms around his waist he was hugging Sonic's back. Sonic looked at him and smiled as he cuddle to Shade and fall asleep.
