  Misunderstood

Silver was searching in Alice's library, he picked out a book and opened it. "What are you doing?!" Fleetway face pop out of the book, "AHHH!" Silver slammed the book shut. Silver grabbed his chest he thought he was going to have a heart attack, "Fleetway!" Silver yelled he was mad. He walked down stairs and he didn't saw Fleetway he looked from side to side. "Fleetway?!" Silver called he started to walk and bumped into a refrigerator, "A refri- what is this idiot up to?" Silver asked. "I have become a refrigerator... I hope this story wins a Oscar" said the fridge as he talked by opening the bottom door. "What?! Fleetway?" Silver asked confused of the talking fridge, "No it's El Pendejo, yes it's me" said Fleetway. "Why are you a refrigerator?" Silver asked to know the story, "Well I was searching for the spells in my book an it turned out that some of my spells work better alone than mixed with words" said Fleetway. "So what are you going to do now?" Silver asked, "Well I'm thinking about uniting with the fridge community to save them from the enslavement of holding people's food.... FREEDOM FOR MY PEOPLE!" Fleetway yelled. "Yup just when I thought you couldn't get more stupid" said Silver, "RACIST!" said the refrigerator, "Isn't there something in your book that can turn you back to normal?" Silver asked picking up the book in the floor. "Okay okay search for page 69" said Fleetway, Silver opened the book searching for that page and when he found it he saw a unexpected picture. Silver's muzzle turned a red color and slammed the book shut, "What has been seen can not be unseen" said Fleetway. "Fleetway! You know if it wasn't because Alice is turned into stone I would have left you as a refrigerator" said Silver he was angry at Fleetway for what he had made him see. "Fine" said Fleetway, "Alright then I'll just leave the book here" said Silver putting the book near a ice table it was pretty far from Fleetway. Silver stood there crossing his arms watching as the refrigerator did not move. There was a awkward silence in the room, "You know this would have been easier if I had legs or feet.... Help" said Fleetway. "Then stop jerking me around and tell me how I can help you" said Silver, "Alright go to the final page it has a few buttons in it press the one color red" said Fleetway. "Maniac they are all red" said Silver, "The one that says reverse" said Fleetway. Silver pressed it turning Fleetway back to normal, "Why is there a suicide button here?" Silver asked. Fleetway shrug "I don't know" he mumbled, Silver stared at the buttons for a moment. He then gave the book back to Fleetway, "Love you" said Fleetway kissing his lips. "Better question is when don't you?" Silver asked, "Never! I love you now and always... Now about that page" said Fleetway he was surprise when he felt a couple of lips press against his cheek. He closed his eyes a little confused, "I love you too" Silver laugh a little by seen Fleetway flushed face. Silver walked away to a different room, Fleetway stood there like a statue and fall slowly to fall to the ground.

Shadow saw nothing but darkness, the girl he was with made a small flame with her hand. "Follow me, the guards won't find us here" she said, "Who are you?" Shadow asked. "Blaze the cat, and you?" Blaze asked, "My name is Shadow the hedgehog the god of Ideals" said Shadow. "God of ideals? You must Sonic's friend" said Blaze, "You know him? Do you know where he is?" Shadow asked. "Yeah we just meet not long ago, he is with a friend of mine" said Blaze. "What is this place?" Shadow asked, Blaze opened the door leading to a place away from the kingdom, "Come I'll explain as soon as we get to the hide out" said Blaze, "Hide out?" Shadow followed Blaze to a house hidden in the woods. "What is this place?" Shadow asked, Sonic was sitting on a rock and saw them and got up he quickly ran to Shadow, "Blaze! Shadow!". Sonic was shocked he saw Shadow all cut in bruises, "Shadow what happened?" Sonic went to him. "I'm fine it really doesn't sting that much" said Shadow, Sonic quickly took Shadow inside. Shadow sat down while Sonic stood in front of him he put his hand on Shadow's forehead and commence to heal the hedgehog. Shadow looked around as he notice they were the villagers from the kingdom, "Later you asked me what this place is well this is a small hide out where most of the villagers were able to escape from the hands of the king" said Blaze explaining why there were a lot of people. "What about the rest of the villagers?" Shadow asked, "They choose to stay by fear" said Blaze. "That's a nice king you have there" said Shadow sarcastically, "He wasn't always like this" said a pink hedgehog with long quills she looked more elegant than anyone else walking over to them. "Who you might be?" Shadow asked, "My name is Princess Amy Rose, I am the daughter of the one who is causing all of this" said Amy looking down at the ground. "I'm surprise they even opened the door to you" said Shadow, "Shadow" Sonic called his name to scold him a little. "For your information it is not the princess fault about her fathers change of attitude. Besides she is the one who planed this escape and helped us, so we are all grateful with her" said Blaze. "It felt like it was my right, besides my father use to be a nice man a very noble King till that strange diamond changed him" said Amy as she looked so troubled. Sonic finish healing Shadow and moved his hand away, "The chaos emerald has great power it can even change a person if not controlled, also I would like to know how your weapon got some of it's power?" Shadow asked looking over at Blaze's green weapon. "It was a big risk but to protect my people and the princess there is no prize" said Blaze, "You see Blaze and I have been best friends since we were young. When I meet Blaze she was at a orphanage and I choose her to come to the castle and since then she trained like never in her life" said Amy more cheerful. "That's so sweet" said Sonic, "It seems we are going I have to take the chaos emerald back if we want this crisis to stop" said Shadow, "Yes but right now I don't have time to sit back and plan things out, there mouths to feed here and they have their children as well to feed. I always gather little food from what I can bring back but it looks like that is what we have to survive with for now" said Blaze. "Hey no worries if crops is what you need I can make them" said Sonic, "What do you mean Sonic?" Amy asked looking at Sonic with a bit of curiosity and confused. "Easy come with me outside" said Sonic, having them follow him to the outside were all the trees and bushes were at. "Okay let's see if I still got it" said Sonic he trench his had using his Mental Planty to make the right kinds of fruit and vegetables grow and in a big variation. Blaze and Amy were surprise as they thought they saw a illusion, "So will this be enough?" Sonic asked putting his arms on his back. "Yes that will be enough thank you" said Blaze as she was still a bit shocked, some of the villagers came out to pick as much as they could. "Well you sure are something I have never seen my villagers so happy like this before" said Amy as she was glad things were getting better. "Sonic had used his Mental Planty some times for the same cases" said Shadow, "Well what can I say? I love to help those in need" said Sonic, he looked down as Amy grabbed his hands. "Thank you so much Sonic, your actions will not be left unrewarded" said Amy happily. Amy then let go of his hands as she went to talk to one of her villagers and laugh a little. Blaze on the other hand keep a good watch to make sure they were free from danger. "You know Shadow it's been a long time since I saw summer" said Sonic looking up at the sky, "Summer?" Shadow asked looking at Sonic. "Yes... Winter is a bit cruel don't you think, the sun is barely seen. The trees and plants die, it's like passing through a hard moment when you think all is lost" said Sonic. "But you will never be lost Sonic, you have me to guide you and be with you" said Shadow making Sonic feel so happy by those words. "I know Shadow and I love it cause you say everything just the right moment and time" said Sonic smiling sweetly at him. "But?.." Shadow asked, "But somehow it's nice to see the change in the seasons and maybe we will all be surprise what changes we make as well" said Sonic. Shadow chuckled and grabbed Sonic's head leaning it on his shoulder. "Sometimes you just say the strangest things for me to understand" said Shadow, "You'll see" said Sonic closing his eyes cuddling to him.

At the moment for Shade, Rouge, and Knuckles it was strange that Shadow and Sonic were missing. "I guess they went of to search for the chaos emeralds early" suggested Knuckles as he held his sleeping daughter in his arms. "No I know Shadow and Sonic they won't just leave till they warn us. Something happen but what?" Shade asked as he thought about it. "Hey I have found something weird as well in the computer yesterday it said there inept one chaos emerald underground and now two appeared" said Rouge. "What?" Shade asked going to see it on the computer screen, Rouge wasn't lying and so Shade feared the worst. "Someone is else is collecting them.... Something tells me it's Hades men" said Shade, "What does that mean?" Knuckles asked looking over at Shade. "Trouble and a lot of it, I must find my brother and Sonic before things start to get back" said Shade he was walking around till he pass by the bathroom and saw a strange light. "What?" Shade went inside the bathroom, "Chaos energy" he said surprise. Shade knew this might be a solution to his missing problem, Shade touched the light and notice it lead to a strange place. Shade then decided to jump in, he saw kingdom and looked around. "Another universe?" Shade looked around and started to walk to find his place. "HALT! Your breaking the kingdom's rules" said the same guards that had attacked Shadow before. He pointed the spear near his neck, Shade pushes it away. "Wait aren't you the same guy from before?" the guard asked comparing him with Shadow. "I guess you are confusing me with my twin now if you would be so kind to tell me where he went" said Shade as he already wasn't liking the place. "Ha! Like as if we would know, he ran off with the cat girl Blaze, we don't know where he is" said the guard. Shade started to think about it, "Blaze we don't know no Blaze" he thought. "For breaking the rules you must now face judgement from the king" said the guard, "I'll pay your king a visit another time but right now I have to find someone else" said Shade. "Guard!" He called for back up making many appear around Shade, they had their green armor and weapons.

It was getting night time and Sonic was walking around he couldn't help but over hear the villagers talking inside. "They call themselves gods but what they really are is trouble and danger to us" Sonic gasp as he heard them. "Yes but they are helping us, they are giving us crops to feed ourselves and our children" "That may be true but they are the reason why the king got this way" "How is it their fault?" "They brought that green thing to this place, trust me when I say this. They are the ones responsible for us having to run away from our homes they are nothing but different". Sonic couldn't believe what he had heard, "But... We are just trying to help..." Sonic then started to think many things he then remember the incident that happen years ago when he was a kid. When Shade and Shadow destroyed the village and were punished, "The gods were the ones to blame for they came to help us but instead they destroyed all we had!" Sonic remember those comments. The people who loved them and respected them started to fear them and they wanted to reclaim what they destroyed leaving them homeless. Sonic eyes widen then he shut them tight. He pressed his hands on his head, trying to control himself. Sonic slowly opened his eyes to show a sentimental expression his eyes water a bit he walked away from the place as he didn't wanted to be a bother to anyone. Sonic sniffed a little he tried to contain his tears but memories of the past were coming back. Sonic manage to get pretty far and saw this unique greenish rock it was pretty big. Sonic looked around and touch the rock getting on top sitting on it, he looked down at the grass. "I'm just trying to help.... Why can't they see that and only see me as.... A terrible person?" Sonic asked those words made him feel even worst. Sonic inhale deeply as he felt his tears were going to fall and so they did. A tear slide down Sonic's red burning cheek, "Yes keep crying" said Hades as he was watching Sonic through his dust ball. He could see the barrier break slowly as each tear that feel from Sonic's cheek keep falling. Sonic just let a few tears fall as he gaze at the ground. He then felt a hand tap his shoulder, Sonic jumped surprise he turned to see Shadow who happened to have seen him. He saw the sadness in Sonic's eyes, "S-Shadow, I thought you went t-to train" Sonic sniffed a little wiping some of the tears away. Shadow didn't say a word, Sonic tried to disguise his sad face but he couldn't. Shadow stood next to the rock and grabbed Sonic's hand, Sonic looked at him confused. Shadow out Sonic's hand on Shadow's chest, Sonic in that moment couldn't take it anymore. Sonic lowered his ears as he tried to disguise his sadness but it was more noticeable by the minute. Sonic quickly got into Shadow's arms and pressed his head on Shadow's chest. "It doesn't matter Shadow! It doesn't matter!" Sonic yelled crying in his chest. "Everything I do is wrong, even if I try to help. In the eyes of all of those I want to help all I do is something wrong! Wrong! Wrong!" Sonic yelled holding onto Shadow's shirt. Shadow put his hand on the back of Sonic's quills and gently petted him to calm him down which worked slowly. "Why am I ... So different?" Sonic asked, "What are you talking about... Different?" Shadow asked. Sonic looked up at Shadow moving a little away but Shadow still had his arms around him. "Your not so different Sonic" said Shadow, Sonic looked down "Yes I am... You said so yourself Shadow that it was hard for you to understand me" said Sonic. "Sonic so what if your different, your different in a good way your kind, generous, sweet, lovable... Your wonderful just the way you are and so what if they can't see it? I'm here with you Sonic and I will always defend you and be by your side" said Shadow. Sonic's ears perked he looked up at Shadow surprise, "Shadow... It's different" said Sonic as he sigh a little. "Well I see many things in common like two eyes, one nose" Shadow grabbed Sonic nose but he pulled it away. "Shadow.." Sonic touch his nose, "Lets see I see two cute cheeks" said Shadow grabbing them. Sonic grabbed Shadow's hands pulling them away. "Shadow stop.." Sonic smiled a little, "Oh and here is another detail, two ears" said Shadow grabbing Sonic's hears. "Ah! Shadow Stop it that tickled!" Sonic giggles loudly as Shadow played with Sonic's ears. Sonic quickly moved away covering his ears, "I see more features" said Shadow smirking a little. "Hehe no!" Sonic said giggling, "Come here" Shadow hugged Sonic cuddling their cheeks together. Sonic blush and kiss Shadow's cheek, "Thank you Shadow... This is why I love you" said Sonic. Shadow smiled, and kissed Sonic's lips which Sonic gladly kissed back. The next morning Sonic was outside practicing his little orb he made. He use to make tons to float around and entertain himself, "Sonic" Amy said as she sat next to him. "I wanted to thank you for helping my people" said Amy, Sonic smiled but then he turned his attention to his orb. "I wish the rest would think the same" said Sonic, "What do you mean Sonic?" Amy asked. "I over heard some of the villagers conversations and I heard them call me and Shadow different and blamed us for them having to leave their home" said Sonic. "Sonic forgive my people they mean well... It's been hard for all of us having to leave our home but that's why your here to help us" Amy said grabbing Sonic's hands and looking into his eyes as she smiled sweetly. "I know how you feel Sonic... Many have blamed me because of my fathers ways, but in the end I learned is no ones fault what is happening. Fate is the one that decides what happens good or bad, even if some of us wish for it to be different" said Amy. "Don't you worry Amy, I promise you that Shadow and I will retrieve the chaos emerald and everything will be back to normal" said Sonic. Amy smiled even more and hugged the blue hedgehog, "Thank you so much Sonic I needed to hear those words" said Amy, "Of course all of us need to hear those words some times... Even they are from someone you least expected" said Sonic. Shadow was leaning against a tree checking the sky, "So what is the plan?" Blaze asked going to Shadow catching him off guard. "I thought you had your own plan?" he asked, "You don't think I have already tried? I have had multiple plans before and none work" said Blaze. "Then why keep trying?" Shadow asked, "Because is those who you care for that gives you more motives and courage to protect them and for a better future" said Blaze. "You and the princess are very close?" Shadow asked, "Every since we were young... I remember we use to always play in the village. She may have been royalty but she acted like a ordinary girl, one day my parents suffer a terrible fate. Amy saw I was a friend in need and so she and her father offered me a home at the castle. I accepted the offer but in exchange I became someone strong and fierce to protect my friend from harm" said Blaze as she explained a story that meant a lot to her. "I see, ever since it meant a lot to you what she did for you" said Shadow as he looked over at Amy and Sonic laughing and talking. "Somehow I can relate with that feeling" said Shadow, "You and Sonic seem to be closer than just friends right?" Blaze asked. Shadow's cheeks turned red without changing his expression at all, "Well that's cute" Blaze smirked and laugh a little. "Why is it funny to you?" Shadow asked still flushed, "It was just a bit unexpected but something tells me you both will last long" said Blaze as she looked over at Amy and Sonic gazing at the two. "Just enjoy him while you have him so in the end you won't regret anything" said Blaze. "Yes... Well looks like the plan will take time, if this king keeps using the chaos emerald for powering up his weapons it's going to be a problem. Sonic and I are strong but it will take a lot more to defeat them all, but if we can get the emerald it can be much easier" said Shadow. "What are you thinking?" Blaze asked, "Maybe if we can obtain the chaos emerald first things will be much easier" said Shadow. "So we have to get the diamond first?" Blaze asked, "Yes maybe your king can react back to normal and things will be easier for all of us" said Shadow. "I understand" said Blaze, "So will we attack today?" Blaze asked. "It's either today... Or never" said Shadow.
