The night it was silent as breath taken by those who sleep. In the morning they were welcome by a blanket of white which was no surprise as it was the winter season once more. Sonic was in his room looking outside as he watch carefully what was going on in outside. Sonic didn't mind the cold nor anything he knew this was mostly Alice's work and that maybe she was on to something. While he watch the outside he notice the Knuckles was passing by with a big box. "Knuckles?" Sonic asked as he looked outside his door, "Yeah Sonic?" Knuckles asked as he looked like he wasn't having trouble caring the boxes around. "What is that?" Sonic asked curiously as he wonder, "This are Christmas decorations" said Knuckles. "Christmas decorations?" Sonic asked not understanding what he meant by that. "Ohhh right I'm sure you guys never heard of it come with me" said Knuckles and Sonic obey as they went to the living room where Rouge was decorating the place with Christmas bells and other things like snowflakes and the traditional Christmas lights. Shadow and Shade where sitting on the couch as they watch a bit, "Rouge this... Ummm decoration what is the meaning of them?" Shade asked. "It's probably another tradition that the mortals celebrate" said Shadow, "Where is Knuckles with the other Christmas decorations that go on the tree he knows it takes a while to decorate it and I'm not even half way there" said Rouge feeling somewhat impatient as she wanted to make her daughters first Christmas perfect. Knuckles opened the door and came inside, "Rouge I brought the other things" said Knuckles placing the box down, "Good now we can put the tree and decorate it" said Rouge as she flew over to the box. "A tree your going to put a tree inside?" Sonic asked, "Yeah it's part of the Christmas tradition" said Knuckles. "What is this Christmas?" Shadow asked, "I think I've heard this once when Alice mentioned it, she said it had something to do with decorating trees and waiting for presents under them something like that" said Shade not sure. "Christmas is the time of the year where friends and family get together since it's special" said Rouge, "What's so special about a ordinary day?" Shadow asked. "it's different somehow Christmas time is the time of giving, kids are mostly exited about it because they ask for a man named Santa a gift they truly want" said Rouge. "So they ask for this stranger present and he gives them to you? Sounds odd" said Shadow. There was a knock on the door, "I'll get it" said Rouge as she flew over to the door opening it, "Hello there" said Chuck as he was standing outside the door. "Who are you?" Rouge asked, "Call me Chuck, Sonic's uncle" said Chuck shacking her hand. "Sonic someone has come for a visit" said Rouge, Sonic approached them and a big smile on his face as soon as he saw Chuck. "Uncle Chuck you came for a visit" said Sonic hugging him, "Why wouldn't I visit my nephew on Christmas time" said Chuck. "So you know about Christmas as well?" Sonic asked, "Well I have been on earth for a really long time" said Chuck. "Look I'm really glad you came and everything but I have a lot of things to do and I am not even half way on my decorating" said Rouge feeling a bit stress. "Is that so? Why did you say so before little lady? I have a way to solve your problem.

Chuck lined Shadow, Sonic, and Shade as he gave each one a little paper with things to do. "Listen carefully you three you will prove to me how fast you can be by accomplishing this task, the first one to finish is victorious and proves to be more outstanding than the other if not you must train harder" Chuck explained as he stared the three hedgehogs, Rouge and Knuckles watch as well as they wanted to see what was in Chucks mind. "Shade your in charge of decorating the outside of the base try to clear as much snow as you can and put up the lights on the top, and sides of windows also the door can have a nice decor with a bow on it. Shadow your in charge of decoding the inside of the base each room including this one needs to have mistletoe on ever door way or at least one, a good red carpet a tree with good decorating and also lets not forget that some red and green cushions for the sofas to match nicely. Sonic your uncharged of the snacks, you must bake ginger bread cookies, also make cupcakes decorated like a Christmas tree and also make a changer bread house. Now that I have made my self clear you shall begging ...NOW!" Chuck yelled as the three dash away with all the boxes they needed. Shade was outside he needed to remove the snow so he ran around the base with his super speed clearing it from snow he grabbed the lights and went up as he ran around decorating the base also making a sign with the light that said "Merry Christmas" he also placed the now in the from door and continue to decorated in each edge of the windows on the base outside. Shadow was passing by each room as he placed the mistletoe under a doorway of the room and decorating the inside with some lights around he also placed the threes and decorated them with all they needed. Shadow also remove the carpets and crushing replacing them with a more Christmas theme like ones. Sonic was in the kitchen preparing the dough for the cookies and placed the shapes as soon as he was finish with that he used some of his powers to heat them up at the temperature baking them fast. Sonic quickly decorated them all before he tried to build the ginger bread house. Sonic then make the cake mix to crest the cupcakes and baked them quick decorating them but he needed to make more of each. Chuck stared at his watch waiting for the godly hedgehogs to finish. "It's been like 4 minutes" said Knuckles, "Give them one more minute" said Chuck. As the minute pass Shadow and Shade stood in front of Chuck "Finish!" Both said in the same time. Shadow and Shade looked at each other somewhat surprise "I guess we both have the same speed" said Shadow. "Yes you two are.... Slower than Sonic" said Chuck, "What?" Shade asked. "Sonic finish about two minutes before you two" said Chuck chuckling, "I'm actually surprise they finish fast and I bet the entire base is decorated" said Rouge. "That's how you work with gods" said Chuck, "Thanks you actually saved me a lot of time" said Rouge. "Your welcome now as for you two I want you to keep working on your speed it's always good to be agile" said Chuck. Shadow and Shade nod, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Fleetway yelled as he came in threw the window breaking it. "Dude! For once couldn't you at least act like a normal person and use the freaking door" Knuckles was already tired of the same thing every time Fleetway came over. Sonic was coming out of the kitchen with some cookies when he spotted. "Fleetway why do you have that?" Sonic asked as he saw that Fleetway had a collar with a mistletoe above his head. "Well little Sonic in Christmas times when two people are found under a mistletoe they have to kiss" Fleetway explained, "Let me guess your going to use that as a excuse to get a kiss from Silver" said Shade crossing his arms. "Right again" said Fleetway he then looked over at Sonic, "You know your under the mistletoe with me so pucker up" said Fleetway closing his eyes getting his face close to Sonic. "Huh..." Sonic moved his head away, Shadow grabbed Sonic moving him out of the way and he put his knuckle in the way. Fleetway kissed it and licked it lips "Sonic your lips are salty" said Fleetway when he opened his eyes he saw Shadow's knuckles and was punch in the face. "Hmph! Next time think about it twice when you try that with my Sonic" said Shadow, Sonic blush smiling. "God dammit" said Fleetway rubbing his face, "Silver is out shopping you should find him in the stores" said Rouge. "Okay be back later" said Fleetway, "But how do you know what store he is in if I haven't told you!" said Rouge. "I always find my Silver!" said Fleetway leaving through the window he came in, "Yup he is sure is a special case" said Chuck. "You have no idea" said Shade, Chuck's eyes began to glow a bright white. "What was that are you okay uncle Chuck?" Sonic asked, "Something is not right" said Chuck. Shade's eyes glow a bright white as well, "Zeus is calling I'll be right back" said Shade as transported. "Hey! They all better be back before Christmas Eve this is suppose to be a family holiday" said Rouge. "I'm sure they will the case can't be that serious" said Shadow, "It always is" said Knuckles. Sonic went to Shadow and kissed his lips as he saw a mistletoe on top of him and the walked back to the kitchen. Shadow's cheeks turned a dark red, "Want me to move a few to your room" said Knuckles laughing a bit. Shadow blush a dark red, "I'm heading outside to cool off" said Shadow. "Dang then must be a hot kiss" Knuckles laugh, "shut up" Shadow answer.

Chuck was at his home and he realize most of his place was completely cover by snow. "My house!" Chuck tried to open the door but he couldn't he notice that the wind was getting stronger as if a snow storm was approaching. "This can't be right why would Alice release a snow storm now?" Chuck asked, "Thats what I want to find out" said Shade as he was next to Chuck by his teleportation skills. "Have you spoken to Zeus?" Chuck asked, "Zeus is not the problem, we must head over to Alice's hidden castle in the mountains" said Shade. "Then there is no time to waist transport us there" said Chuck he placed a hand on his shoulder. Shade transported themselves to the castle of ice hidden in the mountains, "Alice?! Alice where are you?" Shade called thinking something bad might have happen to her. "Why have you come here?" Alice was walking down the stairs but didn't went all the way down just enough so she could see who had disturbed her. "Alice the weather conditions are not right outside what are you doing?" Shade asked, "I don't control the snow because I want to it's through emotions, I may be a goddess but I have feelings as well" said Alice. Shade could tell by her attitude that she was not in the mood, "What troubles you so much to create such a storm?" Chuck asked. "This holiday to many it brings people the memory of happiness and joy, all I feel is agony and hatred towards it. If you want the weather to return to normal get someone that would take my job for me" said Alice as she went up stairs once more. "Can someone actually do that?" Shade asked, "Yes they can, up ahead in this mountains lays a snowflake that can give you Alice's ice powers, if we can get someone that is willing to handle this powers we can solve this problem" Chuck explained. "But who can handle the powers of ice?" Shade asked, "We will only know once we speak with your friends maybe they would be willing to do so" said Chuck. In return to the base Chuck and Shade had explained the situation, "Thats so terrible maybe something bad happen to Alice" said Sonic, "We don't know what made her be in such a angry attitude but we need someone to take over her place just till Christmas passes on" said Chuck, "Well I'm not going to because I don't want to freeze my family by loosing control, Mama wouldn't want to freeze her precious baby" said Rouge to Chloe who giggled in her arms. "Shadow?" Chuck asked, "No I don't work so much with nature" said Shadow. "How about you Sonic? you know how to work with nature" Shade pointed out as they all stared at him. "Sorry but I already have the power to make plants and other crops grow but if I take a ice power there might be a imbalance between the powers and that could lead to chaos" Sonic explained. "The only ones left are Fleetway or Silver and let me just point out that Fleetway would not be a good choice" Knuckles said. "I agree" said Shade, "Where is Silver?" Chuck asked, "Silver is... Still at the mall" said Rouge. "Then Shade and I will go after him" said Shadow, "You might as well do so" said Chuck. "Please be careful I don't want you to catch a cold" said Sonic to Shadow, "I can withstand the cold don't you worry" said Shadow holding his hands. Sonic kiss his cheek, "For luck" Sonic smiled sweetly. Shadow held his cheek and nod as he and Shade transported to the mall.

Silver was in a show store as he was check the heels for women, "I wonder is Rouge would like this?" He thought looking at them. "Excuse me how much are these?" Silver asked, "I would say about 14$" said the cashier. "I'll take them" said Silver as he walked out of the store he had many things. Silver got text so he stop and checked it, "Turn around?" Silver was a bit questionable with this text and turns around to face himself face to face with Fleetway. "Look who is under the mistletoe" said Fleetway pointing upwards to it, Silver stared at and gulp. "Now give me a kiss" said Fleetway wrapping his arms around Silver, Silver tried to push him away. "Fleetway no no no wait! We are in public please" said Silver, "I don't care give me a sweet delicious Christmas kiss" said Fleetway. Silver glared at him and then had a idea he petted his quills, "You want a kiss my little Fleety-Kun~?" Silver asked all cuddly to him. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Fleetway nod quickly, "I'll tell you something I'll give you a kiss if you wait till Christmas and it will be special if you be a good boy and help your little Silver with shopping" said Silver kissing his forehead. Fleetway blush a dark red wagging his tail, "Yes my little pancake of white chocolate" said Fleetway grabbing all his bags. Silver smiled and walked around the mall with Fleetway buying more and more stuff. Fleetway was carrying a ton of bags, "Anything else my little Silver?" Fleetway asked. "I think that's all" said Silver marking everything on a list he had, "Oh thank God now we can leave" said Fleetway. Silver chuckled a bit as he made Fleetway carry all the bags, "Holly crap" Silver exclaimed when he saw the nasty snow storm and the door were probably cover with all the snow. "Fleetway have you been doing this?" Silver asked crossing his arms, "Okay one I don't mess with nature this way and two why is it that when something bad happens you look at me" said Fleetway he placed all the bags on the ground. "Then what is this? They never mentioned a snowstorm" said Silver feeling somewhat disappointed. "It's not just any snowstorm this is caused by Alice's emotions" said Shade who was accompany by Shadow. "Shade, Shadow what seems to be the problem with Alice?" Silver asked, "We haven't got the full story either but all we know is that someone needs to take Alice's place at least till Christmas is over" said Shadow. "Take her place who is going to do that?" Silver asked, "We where wondering if you could?" Shade asked. "Me! Why me? I don't know anything about controlling god powers" said Silver, "Silver your our last hope if you don't do this Christmas will only be a blizzard of disaster" Shade explained. "What do you say?" Shadow asked, "I ... Really don't know what if I loose control?" Silver asked. Shadow and Shade look at each other with a confused face, "We really don't know" said Shade. "Don't worry Silver I will be there" said Fleetway putting a hand around him. "Just at least give it a try" said Shade, Silver sigh "I imagine if I don't do it no one will" said Silver. "So will you do it?" Shade asked again, "Lets give it a try" Silver said. "Alright place a hand on me and we will teleport" said Shade as the others did so. "Huh.... Fleetway on Shade not my @$$" said Silver blushing and glaring at Fleetway. "sorry" said Fleetway moving his hand towards Shade. Shade transported to the ice mountain.

"What gives? Why aren't we on the top?" Fleetway asked, "My powers doesn't let me go to far in specific places" said Shade. "Ha! Dirty joke" said Fleetway, "What?" Shade asked. "Please don't" said Shadow. Silver began to tremble a lot, "It's ... So..... Cold here" Silver force the words out of his mouth. "No $#*+ this mountains temperatures are under 0" said Fleetway, Silver hugged him "Please .... Warm me up" he snuggle to Fleetway. Fleetway hugged him "Mmm I'll heat you up" said Fleetway. "GIVE ME WARMER CLOTHES!" Silver yelled, "Ahhh! Fine fine" Fleetway snapped his fingers giving Silver, a winter coat with a scar some ear warmers and good boots that cover most of his pants. "Thanks" said Silver, "Now that your temperature problems have been settle lets head up to the mountain" said Shade. On their way the storm seems to have gotten worst, "Alice seems very list about something it must be very serious" said Silver. "Hey at least the storm is not throwing giant snowballs" Fleetway mention as he got hit by one rolling down the mountain. Shadow, Shade, and Silver pause just to stare, "We are not going back for him right?" Shade asked. "Nope" said Shadow as they continue to climb up, "Do you think he is okay?" Shade asked. "This is Fleetway we are talking about he will be fine he will probably come back in a few seconds" said Silver. After a while of fighting through the snow they were seen a bright light, "There is it" said Shade. "Finally what took you people so long?" Fleetway asked as he was waiting for them up there. "Well I'm not surprise sorry for our slowness but the wind is against us and so is the snow" said Shade. "Okay Silver it's time go get it" said Shadow, Silver nod we went towards the snowflake that was glowing on the top of the mountain. Silver gulp as he reached out for it, "What do you think your doing?", "Huh?" Silver looked over to see who had asked him the question. He saw big claws heading his way, Silver yelled falling backwards almost slash. "Nightclaw!" Shadow yelled, "From all creatures you had to appear" said Shade. Silver ran towards Fleetway hugging him, "Fool you could have hurt him!" Fleetway yelled. "No duh that was the point I know what you all are up to and as always I am here to stop you" said Nightclaw. "Where is your back up they catch a cold?" Fleetway asked, "For your information they are up to other things" said Nightclaw. "Silver! Shade and I will distract Nightclaw you go ahead and take the snowflake quickly" said Shadow. "You should be worried about other things!" Nightclaw charged at Shadow hitting him with his Tail whipper. Shadow hit the ground, Shade charged at him with a kick which Nightclaw blocked and punch the back of his knee. Shadow kicked his chest, ad used a chaos beam. Nightclaw manage to take the chaos beam he charged at them once again and blocked Shadow's chaos beam and Shade's threat beam. He grabbed both slamming them on the ground and stomped on them. "Ah!" Shadow and Shade yelled, Fleetway helped Silver on the way to the snowflake "Come on grab it" said Fleetway. Silver nod he reached out towards it and the snowflake reached shooting a ice beam that almost hit Nightclaw. The snowflake also shocked Silver with a very cold wave, "Ah! No no I can't" said Silver moving away from it. "Oh no you don't" said Nightclaw as he moved away from Shadow and Shade. "Come back here we are not done with you!" Shadow and Shade yelled as the went after Nightclaw. Nightclaw suddenly turned around his claws were changing color and he slash them with his claw of eternal pain making them loose their speed and concentration as they fell on the snow. "Shadow! Shade!" Silver called, Nightclaw turned back and charged at them. Fleetway confronted him and they went head to head pushing each other by grabbing each other by the shoulder. "Enough Nightclaw you know you can't obtain this power it will only be a waist of time" said Fleetway, "You don't tell me what's useful and what is not useful" said Nightclaw. Nightclaw used his Tail whipper hitting Fleetway causing him to fly off and land on the snow hard. "Fleetway!" Silver used his psychic powers to throw mountains of snow at Nightclaw but Nightclaw melted them with his poison claw that was glowing green. Silver was shocked he knew Nightclaw was about to attack him with that, Fleetway quickly reacted and used his Knock out punch to hit Nightclaw in the face. Nightclaw didn't move he just looked back at Fleetway, "Talking about having a strong skin" said Fleetway, Nightclaw grab his face poisoning it. "AHHHH!" Fleetway to get free by his grip as he could feel it burning his skin. "Leave him alone!" Silver yelled, Nightlcaw threw him aside as he turned to Silver "Now your turn" said Nightlcaw. Silver stared at him with eyes of terror, Nightclaw grabbing him by the neck lifting him up. Silver struggle trying to make him let go, "You will be take this power you will never learn to control it alone" said Nightclaw. "He doesn't have to cause he has me!" Fleetway yelled he used a sharp disk hitting Nightclaw more than once. Nightclaw groan as he drop Silver on the ground. Nightclaw growled and he quickly charged at Fleetway who used a screamer beam at him. With that beam he knocked Nighclaw out of the mountain making him fall down a edge. Having defeated Nightclaw caused Shadow and Shade to gain consciousness again. They both got up and looked over at Fleetway and Silver, "Fleetway your face" Silver said approaching him seen the burn skin in his face. Shade approached them he placed a hand on his face healing the burn skin, "Wow that felt good" said Fleetway shaking his head. "Where is Nightclaw?" Shadow asked, "Defeated" said Fleetway. "Good then this finally leads us to the final thing, Silver" said Shade turning his attention towards him. Silver nod he approached the snowflake once more but remembered what happen earlier as he tried a second time to touch it a lightning bolt hit the ground more than once. Silver flinch moving away, "I can't I'm too scared" said Silver. Lightning was going everywhere, Shadow and Shade had to move away a few times. "Nightclaw was right I can't control this power" Silver hugged himself. He felt a couple of arms warp around him from behind, "It's alright Silver I'll help you just have to calm down" said Fleetway. Silver looked over his shoulder at Fleetway, "I'm scared" he said. "Shhh just be calm place your hands on top of mine" said Fleetway. Silver obey and did so, Fleetway lead his hands towards the snowflake. "Just be calm I have you" said Fleetway, Silver breath in and out calmly he felt so secure in Fleetway's arms. When the snowflake touch his hands it disappear into his forehead, the weather had calm down in extreme way and it began to snow only. Fleetway sigh placing his head on Silver's shoulder, Silver lowered his ears and cuddle to him. Shadow and Shade were more relax that it finally was over. "Another mission accomplished Zeus" said Shade smiling and Shadow return the same smile.

They return to continue their Christmas celebration as they were exchanging gifts. Happy with their gifts as they chat and smiled, "You know Shadow I have my own special gift for you" said Sonic he whisper in Shadow's ear making him burn up a bright red. "Oh my lord" he whisper, Chucke chuckled at his reaction "Well I'm glad everything is back to normal" said Chuck. "Yeah hey care to tell us what happen to Silver and Fleetway they haven't been apart since they got here Silver is more attach to him than ever" Rouge looked over at them as they were in the couch. "I'll give you details later" said Shade chuckling. Silver cuddle to Fleetway's chest as he was laying there, "Fleetway... Thank you for being there for me I was so scared... But you held me and made me feel warm and safe" said Silver. Fleetway smiled at him "Of course after all your my little Silver I wouldn't let you deal with all this alone" said Fleetway snuggling to him. "Here is a little something I have been waiting for give you" said Silver he grabbed Fleetway's head by cupping his cheek and placed his lips on Fleetway giving his a kiss. Fleetway closed his eyes wrapping his hands around his waist, "Mmm~" he sink it the kiss. Rouge cover Chloe's eyes giggling "Yup best Christmas yet" said Knuckles.
