  Sonic's Castle 

The city was being repaired but the skies turned dark for Sonic. All he could recover from Metal Sonic was a small piece of his chest. He was kneeled laying on the rock, as he sob a bit on the lost of his friend. "You left so quick Metal..." Sonic said keeping a hold of the piece in his hand. "Sacrifices are made Sonny boy I told you to always be prepared" said Chuck as he approach the sad hedgehog. "It wasn't fair he sacrificed himself to save us" said Sonic, "Sacrifices had to be made Sonic it was his best choice" said Chuck. "How would you know? You don't know a thing about sacrifices or choices Zeus send you here after all!" Sonic yelled, Chuck was serious he approached Sonic grabbing his arm passing a memory to him.
In Olympus Zeus had been talking with him and the other gods were around surrounding him. Chuck seemed to look a bit younger, "Zeus we can't just do this to the mortals I don't blame them for making this choices" said Zeus. "The mortals had made many mistakes, as a god we must fix those mistakes and things have gone over board the mortals must be punished as they can not be trusted" said Zeus. "No we shall not punish them there is no need to if we can just lead them to show them what is right and wrong! They don't know any better" said Chuck. "You are a god! You must punish them all for what they have done! You must follow my orders I know what is best" said Zeus. ".... Then I will no longer be one of you!" Chuck said as he remove his crown threw it on the ground breaking it.
Sonic gasp as the flashback was over and gaze at Chuck. "You weren't send here you chose to be one of them" said Sonic, "Sometimes doing what you believe is right is better than keeping things quiet" said Chuck. Sonic lowered his head for judging Chuck incorrectly, "Sonic I know you must feel pain in your heart I would too if I had last a friend but sometimes things were meant to leave and we receive something that is just as good" said Chuck as he crouch down in front of Sonic grabbing his hands. "There so many things you can do when you settle your mind in it" said Chuck, "So many things I can do?" Sonic asked. "Your powers are hidden in you Sonic and you tend to show them when your you. You must forgive Shadow for his mistakes and take him in once more don't let something like this get in the way of what you love the most" Chuck said petting Sonic's head. Sonic lowered his ears nodding, Chuck hugged him. Sonic smiled snuggling up to Chuck, "I know it was hard in the moment but you still have your other friends with you and you must protect them as well, your not alone Sonic" said Chuck. Sonic nod somewhat he was feeling much better, "Your right Metal had made a sacrifice but it was a choice to protect us... I shouldn't have been that way with Shadow I have to go find him and tell him I love him" said Sonic as he flew away. He quickly headed to the base it was still a bi destroy but he quickly pass by the apartment was still somewhat together. Sonic went inside and opened the door going inside, "Shadow? Shadow!... Huh... Hello?" Sonic looked around as the place was empty. "Sonic is that you?" Silver asked coming out with a box in his hands, "Sup Sonic long time no seen you look curvy as ever" said Fleetway ripping out the sealing. "Fleetway I told you to grab the important stuff" said Silver, "The sealing is important too my precious snowflake after all it protects us from the rain and everything" said Fleetway ripping more sealing off. "We will have a new sealing in our replacement apartment" said Silver, "It's not the same!" Fleetway yelled. Silver rolled his eyes giving up knowing that Fleetway will always be that way. "Replacement apartment?" Sonic asked curiously, "After the attack we are unable to stay here after all it's badly damage so we are going to stay in another place" said Silver. "Where is Shadow?" Sonic asked, "I don't know maybe you should ask Shade, I think he is at Alice's castle" said Silver. Sonic nod "Thank you" said Sonic as he quickly left in search of Shadow he followed Silver's order and headed to Alice's castle. Sonic went inside quickly and looked around "Hello?" Sonic called, "Sonic we are up in the library" said Alice. Sonic flew up stairs to the library and saw a bunch of books floating around. "Huh? What's this?" Sonic asked looking around, "Those are just spell books and some are just books of rules" said Alice as she was on her desk reading. Sonic went up to her, "Have you seen Shade?" Sonic asked. "Yes he is in the other side" said Alice pointing over at it. Sonic went to the other side of the library that lead to a empty room where it seems like a place to practice. Shade seemed to have been using a spell book to levitate a apple and make it bigger, "Shade!" Sonic called knocking him off concentration making the apple bigger than it had to be. "Oh sorry I didn't meant to startle you" said Sonic approaching him, "No it's fine I just need more concentration" said Shade. "Do you know where Shadow is?" Sonic asked, "Shadow he said he was leaving but he never told me where" said Shade. "Shadow left? ...w-when will he come back?" Sonic asked receiving the unexpected news. "I don't know either maybe you should ask Zeus" said Shade. Sonic nod and was a bit disappointed his search for Shadow was getting more complicated. "Maybe I was too harsh on him" thought Sonic.
He flew back to the kingdom where he had stayed for so long as a child. Walking inside taking step by step thins with no hurry when in the end he didn't wanted a answer to his question. Sonic stop before he headed down the stairs he felt like he would get the answer he didn't wanted to hear. Sonic forced himself down to the bottom where everything was crystals and the room had a nice color of pale pink and clear blue. Sonic walked around passing by the not so sharp crystals that were tall up to his chest. Sonic headed to the main crystal that was in the middle of the entire room as Sonic placed his hand on it to send a wave towards Zeus. The room changed it's color to a pale yellow as the white hedgehog reflection appeared on the crystal. "Hello Sonic" said Zeus, "Hello Zeus it's been a long time since we last spoke to each other don't you think?" Sonic asked. "Yes it's been long, what had been going through your mind?" Zeus asked, "It's Shadow.... Where has he gone to?" Sonic asked. "I knew you would come to ask me that question but I didn't expected it to be so soon" said Zeus with that detail added it had scared Sonic. "What do you mean?" Sonic asked, "Shadow had set off on a journey on his own" said Zeus. "Journey on his own but why wouldn't he tell me?" Sonic asked, "Shadow thought it was best not to, he wants to set you free to be yourself he doesn't want to hold you back anymore Sonic" said Zeus. Sonic became silent it was like as if someone had cut into his chest and stab him a few times. "He is not coming back for a long time Sonic" said Zeus leaving Sonic with nothing but a broken heart and soul. Sonic lowered his head, "He was suppose to be with me..." Sonic whisper. The room return to it's normal color pale pink and blue and so Sonic kneeled on the floor trying to hold back to tears of a broken heart. Sonic let them fall not fighting the pain, "AHHHH!" Sonic yelled loudly letting it all out as the night was received by a strong cry. Sonic satiated in the same stop leaning against the giant crystal, Sonic looked down and saw that the crystals had been growing a bit. "I don't want to be alone again" said Sonic, he hugged himself thinking about the things he had said and the ways he didn't knew that he hurt Shadow. "Why can't think be better?" Sonic asked, so caught up in himself he jumped as a loud sound was heard. He looked around quickly and looked down beside him it was like a crystal books that could have blende with the crystals but this one was like a light purple crystal. Sonic picked it up and read the cover it said "Make a wish", Sonic opened it finding a pen and blank pages to write on. "It's a book but what is it doing here?" Sonic asked himself looking around to see if someone was close by. He looked up to the crystal sealing but there was nothing nor anyone to be found. Sonic grab the pen and looked at the pages thinking for a moment, he remember his dream about rebuilding the kingdom. He grab the pen and began to write down the dream "I want to rebuild this kingdom" Sonic repeated what he had wrote more than once remembering his main reason since the beginning. The words began to shine, Sonic notice this strange detail. The room began to shake, Sonic looked around confused and scared not knowing that was happening the floor was moving upwards and the crystals were creating a walls and a ceiling of crystal and stone creating some designs of elegance. Sonic looked over at a wall that opened up creating a giant balcony and had some curtains. Sonic saw as the room filled with furniture as well, he was surprise and as soon as he felt the crystal ground stop shaking he looked around admiring the beautiful furniture of silver it looked so elegant and a bed that looked very comfortable. Sonic looked out the balcony, he notice he was high as he looked at the side there was like a twin tower . Sonic looked down noticing it was like a crystal castle with twin tower he saw as the garden around began to turn into crystals as well. Sonic was amazed as he went down the stairs and into the from of the castle there was multiple room Sonic smiled widely. He quickly went to where the ballroom use to be, as he enter the room he saw the big room with the instruments of silver on the side and the chandelier on the ceiling beautiful Sonic smiled widely the castle was rebuild just like the way he wanted. Sonic felt something on his head when he touch it and pulled it off he saw a golden crown with a blue pearl in the middle and green shards one on each side and the bottom of the pearl. The crow was in shape like a big ring simple but beautiful Sonic was filled with joy as he placed the crown back on. "Now all I am missing... Is people coming over" Sonic began to think running to the room and picked up the book he opened the book hugging it. Sonic looked at the back as he was curious it said "one wish per day" Sonic knew that he had to wait and so that's what he did.
He waited for the morning to come he opened the book early and grab the pen on the bottom of that first sentence he had written he wrote the other one. "I want many people to come visit the kingdom" Sonic read it out loud as he wrote the wish. The door was opening as a blue butler armadillo went into the room, "Prince Sonic there is not much time to waist your guess are waiting for you down at the ball room. "Who are you?" Sonic asked, "Call me Battly your butler sir" said Battly. Sonic got up following Battly to the main ball room. Sonic's eyes sparkle as there was many men and woman dress elegantly talking and dancing. Sonic went into the middle where he saw his majestic throne and looked at the people who smiled clapping at Sonic. Sonic giggle with joy and walked in the middle where people come out to shake his hand and greed Sonic. Sonic walked through the crowd as he was so filled a joy he never had imagine before.

Sonic sang as he made his way to the crystal garden outside. "You like this place don't you?" Morpheus asked, "Yes I love it all this is so amazing" said Sonic. Morpheus chuckled a bit "Enjoy your dreams Sonic after all this is what you have always wanted is it?" Morpheus asked. Sonic nod quickly, "Then good luck on everything Sonic" said Morpheus he hugged the blue hedgehog tightly not waiting to see what awaits him in a father future he slowly vanish till Sonic couldn't see him anymore. Sonic was too happy to think about things he had all he wanted and more or so he thought that way.
Rouge was feeding baby Chloe her baby food while she watch the news in a tiny TV she had on the table the apartment had boxes everywhere so it would take them a while to get use to the place. Fleetway put the last box in the living room, "Oh god that was a lot of work" said Fleetway. "You only carried the boxes with papers in them and some even had nothing" Silver pointed out. Fleetway grabbed Silver's cheeks giving a bit kiss on the lips, "Your always arguing with me moving your sexy lips instead of doing something else with them" said Fleetway. Silver lowered his ears blushing shyly "Well you-you just always do the stupidest things" said Silver. Fleetway kissed him once more "From now on every time you argue with me I will kiss you over and over" said Fleetway chuckling. "This two should just go get a room" said Knuckles, "Knuckles come here and check this out" said Rouge as she raised the volume higher on the TV. "A castle has appear in the middle of nowhere and it's turning out to be one of the most attracting places to go such a beautiful castle belonging to Sonic the hedgehog who claims to be a god of dreams" said the reporter as she gave a tour of the place. "How did Sonic manage to create all that?" Knuckles asked. Fleetway took a quick look as he over heard, "Oh that that castle was created by none other than Sonic's dream world" said Fleetway. "Sonic's dream world?" Knuckles asked "It's a state of mind that those gods specifically go through. When they start feeling pain and and began to wish things would go better their way how they imagine it a book appears unlocking all their wishes and desires as they wrote it down" Fleetway explained with images he drew in the wall. "Please tell me that is not permanent marker" Knuckles said praying it wasn't. "Not its actually Tnenamrep... That's a odd name" Fleetway said not understanding. Silver grab the marked and turned it over, "....Ohhhh Permanent" said Fleetway reading it. "Your such a idiot some times now I have to paint the wall" Knuckles scratch his skull of anger. "So h can create anything he wants with this book? I want it" said Rouge, "The book is not all fun and games, everyone can have nightmares and if one of those nightmares are release it can be a disaster for Sonic lets just hope nothing goes bad but the best we can do to Sonic is leave him alone till his state is over" said Fleetway. "How long will it take?" Silver asked, "I don't know, to some of them it takes a lot of years till they realize the facts of reality" said Fleetway. "What happen once they do realize it?" Silver asked, "Some do it and realize it by their wiseness but others are not that clear and so when it comes they deny it and it gives them a hard time" said Fleetway. "I hope Sonic can deal with this" said Silver a bit worried about his friend for some reason the only thing he could think of was the time he and Knuckles meet Sonic and the time they spend with the hedgehog. "I wonder if he will miss us?" Silver asked, "Probably but lets hope he stays entertained and doesn't miss us at all" said Fleetway.
