   Mirror don't reflect!

Sonic had been sitting on his bed for a while he had his eyes close which made him feel so relax. He had discover by doing so he was meditating to dream. Relax by the air that blew in letting Sonic know he wasn't that locked up yet his dream was speaking to him. He could see in his dream a image of himself with a collar around his neck bond to a chain in the hand of Mephiles. "What is this?" Sonic asked with a confusedness as he continue to watch the Sonic he was gazing at he felt like as if he was unhappy and didn't wanted to be at Mephiles side. "Is this truly me?" Sonic asked so unsure of the twin. He opened his eyes to see that he was still in his room as he moved his head around to see that Dark was at the door keeping a watch though there was a curiosity Sonic couldn't help having think about Dark and why wouldn't he let him see him. "Dark why do you hide your face in that hood?" Sonic asked breaking the silence. Dark turn hid head towards Sonic, though Sonic didn't think he could clearly see him through that dark clothing. "Is it really necessary for me to show my face towards you?" He ask not wanting to turn his head towards Sonic which he found extremely suspicious.

"You know looks don't matter to me at all" said Sonic trying to see if that would make Dark more secure to remove his hoodie. "Then there is no need to show my face if I do not desire to" said Dark as he walked away. "Wait! I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable or pressure" said Sonic walking next to him giving him a smile. "I'm just use to the fact of being so open to everyone .... It's kinda silly isn't it... I know someone I use to know would think that way" said Sonic knowing and remembering that Shadow always hated him being so open to everyone. "Yes it is quiet absurd but still I appreciate your open to be but sadly I can not repay you the same way" said Dark, "It's fine don't worry... Huh?" Sonic began to feel a strange presence. "Is something wrong?l" Dark ask as he saw Sonic react in such a way. "Oh it nothing I just thought I seance someone" said Sonic a bit thoughtful he rubbed the back of his head and smiled nervously at Dark trying not to show his nervousness.

"Come on try your best shot" said Nightclaw chuckling confidently, "You know what I am feeling quiet generous why don't you punch first?" Knuckles said not fairing one bit. Nightclaw just smirk on the foolishness of the echidna, "As you wish" said Nightclaw as his knuckles clench pulling it back and with force he punched Knuckles on the jaw making his head go a bit back. Nightclaw continue to chuckle but it stop as soon as saw Knuckles smirking at him, "Is that all you got?" He ask. Nightclaw eyes widen he couldn't understand he was a demon he used all his force in the attack when before Knuckles couldn't even handle his touch. Knuckles smirk "What a disappointment" he said as he return the punch to Nightclaws gut forcing the air out of him and then kicked him away. Nightclaw rolled around a bit on the floor glaring at the echoing he then began to use his tail whipper attack to strike Knuckles. Knuckles just blocked with his arms covering himself as Nightlcaw continue to whip him. Knuckles then manage to grab his tail and began to spin around still grabbing his tail throwing him far away. "Nice throw now for something he will never forget" said Knuckles charging at him with all the speed he could get and jumped up and tried to punch his face but Nightclaw moved around and with his tail he whip Knuckles in the chest. Knuckles made a crater on the ground since Nightclaw dodge his attack. Knuckles then tried to punch it but it seems Nightclaw was a bit faster, "Nice improvement but it still needs work" said Nightclaw as he used his Poison claw attack his claws were purple as he slash Knuckles chest with that Nightclaw knew the battle would be over. "What were you trying to do tickle me?" Knuckles smirk, "What?!" Nightclaw yelled not believing it there was not a scratch on his chest. "I endure my body like as if it was hard metal" Knuckles punch Nightclaw's face making him fly back. "You should tell your friends to be aware" said Knuckles glaring at Nightclaw. Nightclaw was bleeding from the mouth as he got up slowly "You won't win not when we have one of the most dangerous weapons on our side" said Nightclaw. "What are you talking about?" Knuckles ask hearing his words, Nightclaw smirk "One us has a sword called the Midnight Soul you be surprise what that can do to someone like you by just the sliest cut" said Nightclaw, Knuckles did not liked the sound of that but he wasn't planing to wait and see. Knuckles with one more blow he used his Breaker Punch and knocked Nightclaw out fast.

"Nice punch do you think he will wake up after that one?" Fleetway ask, "Let's hope not but did you heard what he said?" Knuckles ask. "Yes about the Midnight Soul interesting little sword isn't it?" Fleetest ask, "you know what it is?" Knuckles asked surprise in a way. "I know what it's used for" Fleetway explained the purpose of the the Midnight Soul, "Do you think they are planing to use that on Sonic?!" Silver asked worried, "Not sure but it could be possible taking the soul of Sonic is like winning the war so I assume we have to keep that thing away the only way to do so is to get to Sonic first" said Fleetway. Silver looked troubled by the thought of them using that on Sonic, "You guys head back to Rouge maybe she knows something more, no time to wait go! Now!" Knuckles yelled, "But what about you?" Silver ask, "Don't worry about me I'm a lot stronger I'll go ahead and head to Sonic" Knuckles flew away, "But-.... Good luck" Silver said as he flew back with Fleetway.

Sonic couldn't help this strange presence wasn't bugging him but it did made him curious. "What is that? Who is that?" Was his questions he follow the strange energy. "This is strange the source of energy-" Sonic gasp in the moment as he had exit his room and down the stars to the main room he saw a green hedgehog. "It's that energy... It's coming from him" Sonic said to himself lowly he carefully watch the hedgehog but he was hidden to not show himself just yet. Scourge and turn his head from side to side as if looking for something or someone. The blue eyes of this hedgehog could captivate anything but yet he was not aware of Sonic's presence in the room. Scourge approach the wall touching the big outstanding crystal from all, his hand went through the crystal.

Sonic's eyes open up a bit more curious to where that would lead as he saw Scourge going through the wall. "I must warn Dark..... But then again" Sonic continue to head down the stairs and touch the crystal wall which Scourge had gone through. As expected his hand trespassed it "oh it's like a hidden path" Sonic quietly went through the wall trespassing it easily as well as Scourge was able. Sonic gaze upon this hidden room it looks much like the underground crystal room in the castle. When Sonic looked down he was correct this was the ceiling of that crystal room but Sonic wonder why it was hidden. Sonic then saw in the middle of the room there was a chaos emerald. "A chaos emerald?! Here?!" Sonic asked surprise he couldn't believe it all this time there was a chaos emerald there. Sonic quickly cover his mouth as he saw Scourge approach the chaos emerald, "What is he doing?" Sonic asked himself he just didn't wanted to make noise because there was no where to hide in the room the crystals were too down to the ground.

Scourge took out his sword pointing it over to the chaos emerald the sword began to flow as a second chaos emerald was presented a violet chaos emerald. "Another one" said Sonic, Scourge had move the sword away making the chaos emerald merge once more with it giving it, it's purple aura. He reached out to grab the chaos emerald "Stop!" Sonic called out, Scourge quickly looked back at Sonic. "Don't take that chaos emerald it can be trouble" he said, Scourge did not reply to him he charge at Sonic swinging his sword at him. Sonic back backed up and made a blue bubble around him. He then kicked Scourge away, "Wait I don't want to fight you" said Sonic, Scourge didn't listen he got up and tried to charge at Sonic. Sonic's hands glow green as plants wrap around Scourge's feet up to his waist and arms holding him in place. "I don't wish to fight you, I just want to speak with you" Sonic said, as the clear blue chaos emerald began to glow. Scourge immediately stop his struggle, "What is it that you wish to speak about?" He ask. Sonic slowly released him to make sure he wouldn't attack him again. "Have we ever meet before?" Sonic asked him seen that something about Scourge was so similar. "You see me all the time..." Scourge said, Sonic was left speechless he couldn't recall having seen him. "Let's have a seat shall we? And maybe you can explain to me more" said Sonic as he sat on a diamond that top was flat, Scourge cut the top of the diamond beside him not too far but not too close and sat down with him.

Scourge wonder why he was doing this but it seems something told him to do so. "My name is Sonic the hedgehog" Sonic introduce himself, "Yes I know who you are" said Scourge plainly. "Okay then... Can you please tell me your name?" Sonic ask, "Scourge" he said. "Scourge? Okay tell me Scourge who are you and why are you here?" Sonic asked him impatient about the answer. "You don't know anything" said Scourge as he stared at Sonic removing his mask that cover most of his muzzle and mouth. Sonic just stared at him and a flash of what he had dream appeared for a second, "Huh?" Sonic was confused by what he had seen. "I am your clone.... A clone created by Hades to fulfill his plan" said Scourge, "That explains why your so familiar.... And my dream. That was not me it was you, your the one who is miserable" said Sonic, "What do you mean?" Scourge ask. "I think you already know about me being the God of dreams but I just had a dream not long ago about another who was at Mephiles side and he looked so unhappy" Sonic explained, Scourge eyes open up a bit more. "He has been sensing my agony and pain?" He thought. "Mephiles, he is ... My mate chosen by Hades" said Scourge, "Your mate?! But your miserable with him" said Sonic. Scourge got up "It doesn't matter, he was chosen by Hades and I must follow my masters orders to make him happy and please" said Scourge. "but will you be happy Scourge?" Sonic ask, "His happiness is worth more than mine" said Scourge. "That's where your wrong" said Sonic, Scourge return his gaze to Sonic. Sonic got up and grab his hands "Your happiness is as important as anyone else, what's worth living if your always causing yourself pain?" Sonic ask, he then sat Scourge down as he sat down. "Scourge I understand your loyal to your master but let me tell you a little story about a friend who gave up his life for freedom and for what was right" said Sonic as he remembered Metal Sonic

Fleetway and Silver had return to the house and Rouge slam the the door open. "THE CHAOS EMERALDS WERE STOLEN!" Rouge yelled, "What?!" Silver and Fleetway yelled.
