It was a windy day as the seasons had changed, the color of the leaves were a orange color. They fall from the tree, Sonic and Silver were at the store buying some groceries since in the base didn't have enough food. Sonic notice that the places were decorated with bats, pumpkins, most of the colors were black, orange, and even green. Colors like those, Sonic was curious looking around not knowing what they mean and why they were all over the place. "Silver what are this decorations for is there some kind of traditions or something?" Sonic asked, "Ohh that those are just for Halloween Sonic" Silver said. "Halloween?" Sonic asked scratching his ear, "Oh that's right you don't know much about Halloween" said Silver grabbing some bags of candy and putting it on the shopping cart and some apples. "Well I never got the chance to discover or do much things around to know everything" Sonic rubbed the back of his head. "Well Halloween is mostly on October 31 mostly people dress up as any creature, from magical creatures to monsters" said Silver as he grab some milk an put it on the cart. "But why do they do that?" Sonic asked, "I don't know much about Halloween in those specific details but yet it's fun to be on a Halloween party and it's also fun to dress up as something once and a while" said Silver. "You mean like that time that Fleetway dressed you us as ... What do you call those people.. Ummm striper?" Sonic pointed out. "I thought we agree to never speak of that again" said Silver with a embarrassed face. "Anyway sounds interesting so how do someone participates?" Sonic asked, "You don't you just dress up for the fun of it" said Silver, "Oh really?" Sonic asked. "Yeah it's also fun to see little children coming over to the houses dress up all cute saying "Trick or treat" and then get candy" said Silver. "So that's why we are buying 3 bags of candy?" Sonic asked, "Yeah cause last year Knuckles and I had a unexpected .... Twist because of running out of candy" said Silver remembering it. "Ohhh okay and what was that unexpected twist?" Sonic asked, "It just involved a lot of toilet paper" said Silver. "Toilet paper?" Sonic asked confused as he was not getting it, "Anyway lets get to the carrot area so we can go home" said Silver walking by with Sonic. Both of them put the grocery in the car and got in the car driving away, Sonic saw that in every house there was some decorations and one even had a skeleton. "Wait they use the bones of the dead as well?" Sonic asked, "No no Sonic those are plastic it's just to add a spooky feeling into it" said Silver. "Oh I see, I wonder if in the base they would decorate like that?" Sonic asked, "Well judging from Rouge something tells me the room will be decorated like that" said Silver as they stopped by the base and were in from of the room with all the groceries. "It's odd someone locked the door" said Silver he grabbed a card passing it by and tried to open the door but it still didn't work, "What the heck?!" Silver asked. "Let me try" said Sonic as he easily opened the door, ".... Okay then" Silver went inside first. "Oh my God giant pumpkin" Silver said in a surprised voice, "What?" Sonic came in and saw that Silver was not exaggerating. "Fleetway I told you make it a bit bigger not humongous" said Knuckles pissed off. "I had a feeling it had something to do with him" said Silver crossing his arms, "Where is Fleetway?" Sonic asked. "I lost track of him after he made the apple huge" said Knuckled staring at it that was next to the pumpkin. "Fleetway!" Silver called, a chainsaw came from the inside of the pumpkin making the face perfectly. The pieces were pushed to the outside and light came from the inside of the pumpkin an loud music. "It's a party in here!" Fleetway yelled, "Fleetway!" Silver yelled a second time. The music stopped and the lights turned off in the pumpkin, Fleetway pop out in one of the eyes. "Hi snowflake you been calling your man?" Fleetway asked putting a arm around him. "What are you doing?" Silver asked, "Nothing just doubling the size of things you like this over sized pumpkin? Is as big as my love for you" said Fleetway. "It's too much so get a smaller one" said Silver glaring at him, "No fair Knuckles wanted it big" said Fleetway. "Yeah but not that big" said Knuckles, "I think it gives a hint of Halloweeny spirit" said Fleetway. Silver rolled his eyes, "So what are you going to dress up as?" Fleetway asked Silver. "I don't know" said Silver, "I have a perfect costume" said Fleetway snapping his fingers turning Silver into a cowboy and he was a cow. "Punish me cowboy" said Fleetway, "Fleetway!" Silver yelled blushing. Fleetway grabbed Silver kissing him. Sonic giggled looking away, Silver pushed him away and glared at him. "Hey what's going on down here?" Rouge asked as she came in. She was all dressed as a witch and Chloe was dressed as a little green fairy. She waved her wand since it lighted up every time she did so. "Rouge hi you look very attractive as a witch, and Chloe looks so cute as a fairy" said Knuckles, "Thanks Knukie... By the way nice costume Silver it suits you" said Rouge, "I know" Fleetway drooled looking at Silver. Silver blushed and walked away from there, "That reminds me Sonic this is for you" said Fleetway snapping his fingers. Sonic blinked and saw that he was wearing like a jacket with a hoodie that had Shadow's quills. "I look like Shadow" said Sonic as he giggled checking his black and red costume. "Where is Shadow?" Sonic asked, "Oh him he was just in the training room not long ago he should be here in about...." Rouge paused as Shadow enter through the door. "Now" she finished, "Look Shadow how do I look?" Sonic asked standing in front of him. Shadow's cheeks turned a dark red "Huhh.." He couldn't seem to find the right words to say. "Your welcome" Fleetway whisper in his ear, "It looks good" he said. "Thank you Shadow" Sonic pressed his lips against Shadow's burning cheek. "Huh? Shadow your cheeks are hot are you okay?" Sonic asked. "Yes I'm fine" he said with a bit of difficulty, "Don't worry he is just all.... Burned up" Fleetway chuckled.

Mephiles and the others were in Hades' chamber, they looked around for details and some potions they had to keep in tact. Mephiles looking around and saw that there was one ball on the floor it looked very creepy. He picked it up and saw a ghost form in it, "What is this?" Mephiles asked picking it up. "That is part of my plan" a giant shadow appeared in front of the three, "Hades we have been waiting for your return" said Mephiles. "Yes I know very well why, you all know this time of the year is when the mortals welcome our presence" Hades mentioned. "You had told us something about this day" Nightclaw pointed out as he wanted to know, "Yes I know, Halloween they call it celebrated this night October 31 your powers will be increased this day. But it won't last long since it ends at 12:00 pm as soon as it all ends" Hades explained. "I imagine you want us to do something about it?" Mephiles asked crossing his arms, "Yes I want this Halloween to last forever and take the chance to do so this night" said Hades. "How do you expect us to do so?" Nightclaw asked, "That little orb Mephiles is holding will be placed in the cities main building on the very top. It will spread it's darkness turning everyone into the monsters and creatures they dress up as" Hades explained, "Which will make this a forever lasting Halloween" Mephiles said. "Exactly that way your powers will be increased" said Hades, "What about the Zeus' gods?" Nightclaw asked. "They will not be increasing at anytime if I am correct they will all participate in this tradition leaving them expose to the effect" Hades explained. "So this is something probably that will work" said Mephiles, "Yes and I don't expect failures I just want this to last long enough till I finish my job" said Hades. "It's the best plan yet" said Nightclaw, "But what about those who aren't dress as monsters or magical creatures?" Scourge asked. "They will not be effected but yet they will not be able to survive being attacked by the others" Hades explained. "Well there is no saying what this could do" said Mephiles he notice the ball started to glow a magenta color, "Hmmm? What's in this orb anyway?" Mephiles asked. "It contains the soul of a half god not as powerful as capturing a full god but then again she has all we need" said Hades, "We'll if it was all you could afford" said Mephiles. Nightclaw and Scourge followed Mephiles on the way out leaving Hades, "Prepare yourself Zeus this is one mess you will have to fight to get out" he said being patient and thinking about his plan.

There was a Halloween party in the GUN base that night, Rouge and Knuckles were already there with their little daughter. Sonic was waiting for Shadow, "Come on Shadow don't feel embarrass about your costume" Sonic said as he was still wearing his. Shadow came down he was dressed as a strange demons he had devil horns and tail he wore gloves that made his fingers look sharp and deadly. Shadow even had fangs a bit longer as he could do that naturally, "I don't like it..." Shadow said, Sonic tilt his head and stared at Shadow. "It looks good on you very monstery perfect for this tradition" Sonic said, "I look like a demon.." Shadow said, "So? It doesn't matter just because your dress like one doesn't mean you are one" said Sonic. Shadow was still skeptical about something, "But don't you despise demons?" He asked. "Not just any demon just the ones who hurt and destroy but your my only exception" Sonic kissed his cheek making Shadow smile a bit with red cheeks. "Come on let's go to the party with the rest of the guys" Sonic said grabbing Shadow's hand heading over to the party. The room where the party was happening it was big and had many spooky decorations such as skeletons, bats, black cats, pumpkins, and some signs that said "Happy Halloween". Many of the members dressed like zombies, vampires, skeletons, wolves and other things that would look scary as the girls most where female vampires, accident queen, princess, nurses. Sonic smiled as he saw everyone dancing, chatting, and even eating as well. "This seems like fun come on Shadow" Sonic took him away to the punch bar where he and his friends meet up, "Hi Sonic and Shadow glad you could make it" said Knuckles, "Hey Knuckles yeah we came just on time, where is Rouge and Chloe?" Sonic asked. "Rouge is with her female friends they are crazy about Chloe and her costume" said Knuckles, "Well it's cute how such a little creature can cause a big impact" said Sonic laughing a bit. "Yeah enjoy as much as you can before this place gets over filled" Knuckles pointed out as it seemed like a big party as many people participated in it. But little did they knew that the night was just beginning as a deadly trio headed to the top of the tallest tower. Scourge stood in the very point, "Here you go my dark soul do as you need to" Mephiles said handing the orb to him. Scourge grab it and closed his eyes letting his seances take over, he made strange movements with his hands still holding the orb then he kneeled on one leg smashing the orb on the top as it flash a lot. The three quickly flew away from the building as the strange dark purple mist came from the orb and extended every second. "It has been done" said Nightclaw, "Lets see how long it takes till everyone who is dressed gets transformed" said Mephiles. They three stayed in that place watching from above what happened down bellow. Kids and parents were our with their children they suddenly got a sniff of the most they seemed confused even some kids looked around not knowing till they started to feel something strange in them. They were transforming into what they were dressed as the groans and terrible sounds were made till this transformation was over.






Inside the GUN base as the party went it everything went quiet even the music as the alarm turned on. "The alarm?" Rouge asked, there was a screen showing the activity the was going on. "What's happening to them?" Sonic asked worried, "It seems like they are ... Transforming" Shadow said, "Wait I know what that is..." Fleetway thought. "This is big problems" Shadow said in the room they saw as the mist came in quickly barely giving anyone time to react there was a lot of coughing in the room. "Huh! What is this?" Sonic asked, Shadow cough more and gasp as he was feeling strange and a bit if pain. "Shadow what's wrong?" Sonic asked helping Shadow maintain his balance, "S-Stay away!" Shadow warned Sonic. Shadow's eyes turned fully bloody red with no side of pupils nor anything. Sonic was shocked and backed away, "Grrrr Grrr Grrr" a growl was heard from his every breath. Sonic keep backing up bumping into Knuckles who had rotten skin and even some parts missing he groan and was about to grab Sonic. Sonic quickly flew up moving away from them, Rouge flew up with little Chloe on her side. Rouge looked ugly and laugh, "Where are you going?" She asked. Sonic looked around quickly flew to the door as fast as he could when he landed and closed the door he ran. Sonic keep on running he was shocked when some doors in front of him opened and it was the now demon Shadow snarling it charged at Sonic with the intention of staving his claws in him. But Sonic moved away letting Shadow create five holes in the wall. "Shadow it's me, why are you trying to hurt me?" Sonic asked as he backed away. Shadow roared and charged at him once again, Sonic quickly used his Mystic Beam to stop Shadow he turned to run away but he notice Rouge and Knuckles were in the way. Sonic backed up and used his Sharp Disk to knock them out balance long enough for his escape. "What is going on? They are acting weird as if they want to hurt me?" Sonic thought, "Sonic!" A voice called him. "Zeus?" Sonic asked in his head, "Yes it is me I called you because I know about the situation" Zeus said. "Everyone is acting strange they seem like they want to hurt me" Sonic said as he keep running. "Sonic listen carefully they don't do that cause they want to they are being forced by the costume" Zeus pointed out. "What?" Sonic didn't understood what Zeus had tried to explain to him, "Sonic, Hades has been having his plans and preparations he made it so that all the ones who wears a costume mystical or terrifying turns into those creatures" Zeus explained more firmly. Sonic went outside and quickly flew away from the place, "But I am wearing a costume why didn't it work on me?" Sonic asked, "Cause yours not wearing a scary nor mysterious one" Zeus answered his question. "Okay but what I am going to do now? I'm alone in this" Sonic sat on a dark cloud in the night sky. Sonic saw a yellow beam pass by him a strong one that almost hit him, "AHHH! What that a Chaos Beam?" Sonic asked he looked behind himself and saw the demon Shadow and mummy Knuckles. "What? How did he find me?" Sonic asked, "Sonic even if they are those creatures they still have their god powers you have to be careful, you must escape somehow" said Zeus. Sonic quickly flew off trying to escape from them, he speed through the clouds trying to hide from them but he knew he was going to be found. Sonic needed to think fast and used his Mystic Beam aiming at them hitting both that game him time to speed up. Sonic jumped down and landed in the middle of the city that was somewhat empty no one was to be found. Sonic had to think fast and tried to run but there was something he just realize he looked up and saw Mephiles, Scourge, and Nightclaw. "What are they doing up there?" Sonic asked, "Sonic! Watch it" Shade jumped on top of Sonic protecting him from a strange blast Rouge had made with her stick and laugh, "Shade!" Sonic hugged him. "Are you alright?" Shade asked, "Yeah but it seems that no matter where I go they seem to find me" Sonic said. "This demons seem more determine and dangerous than I thought, where is Shadow?" Shade asked. "He was transformed as well, we have to do something Shade" said Sonic, "I'm surprise your dress like him but still I rather have you like that than a demon" said Shade as he used his Threat Beam to hit Rouge but he was careful to not hit the floating fairy Chloe. "Come with me quickly" Shade grabbed Sonic's hand and ran off with him they went inside a candy store and hide on the storage room. "Shade what has been going on?" Sonic asked panting, "It's Hades and his demons he has created something horrible and used it on top of the cities biggest building. Now that thing is creating a giant mist where it affects the people with a virus turning them into this creatures they are dressed as" Shade explained. "What are we going to do then?" Sonic asked, "The only thing we can do, we are going to have to find a way to distract those three so we can get that ball" said Shade. "Maybe just maybe... Rouge has made copies once of the chaos emeralds maybe we can get them there to distract them by activating it and we can get the ball" Sonic suggested, "It might work where is that chaos emerald?" Shade asked. Sonic stayed silent as he thought about it, "I know it's pretty far but I have to go back to the GUN base and activate it" said Sonic. "We don't have much time you must find a way to get there I will be on my way to the building, good luck" said Shade, "Wait what if we are attacked?" Sonic asked. "I know your strong Sonic you can handle it I trust you" said Shade, Sonic sigh lowering his ears after Shade's words, "You will be fine" Shade put his hand on his shoulder. Sonic was thoughtful yet he nodded if not him then who else could do it.

He returned to the place where he feared and walked quietly, Sonic looked around and everything seemed to be quiet. "Hmm maybe everyone left" Sonic thought as all he could hear was the echo of his foot steps. "Hiss!" Sonic turned around and saw the mummy Knuckles running towards him. Sonic quickly blocked him and punched his chest and kicked him away. Sonic stood on his ground, Knuckles tried to use his Breaker Punch. Sonic dodge making Knuckles punch the wall knocking it down. Sonic kicked the back of Knuckles head and used his Mystic Beam. Sonic was hit by a beam as well as the witch Rouge created with her stick, she laugh with delight. "That actually hurt" thought Sonic he tried to hit her with his Sharp Disk move, Rouge avoided them as she flew to Sonic kicking him face. Sonic backed up and manage to grab her foot and threw her against Knuckles who was getting up. The little baby fairy flew to Sonic, "Chloe" said Sonic smiling at the baby. Knuckles and Rouge go up and glared at Sonic, they charged at Sonic once more. Sonic grabbed Chloe in his arms every time they tried to punch Sonic they found it impossible as Sonic used Chloe knowing they would never hurt their baby. Sonic her as defense and manage to fight back against both by punching them and kicking repeatedly, Sonic then threw Chloe up wards, "Weeeeeee!" the little giggling baby said as she flew up high. Sonic used a double Mystic beam knocking them out. Chloe landed on his hands laughing and Sonic cuddle to her, "Thank you Chloe now be a good girl and stay away from trouble" he said leaving the baby in Rouge's hands and quickly ran to the control room where the computer was still intact. Sonic activated it and started to search for the file that Rouge had about the chaos emerald and found it fast. "Yes now where do I have to activate it?" Sonic asked as he search for a button and manage to find one. "Maybe this?" He thought pressing it, "NEED OF POWER" the computer said. Sonic places his hand on the computer and started to give some of his energy giving the computer as much as it needed. "Come on hurry!" Sonic was desperate, Sonic could hear noises he was worried that it was Knuckles and Rouge again but it be too soon for them to get up already. "HURRY UP!" Sonic yelled waiting for the computer to confirm the energy needed. He could hear the noises closer, Sonic keep offering the power and then the computer finally activated this fake chaos emerald. "PROCESS COMPLETED" it confirmed, "Yes!" Sonic said as he was glad he looked over at the door and stared at the demon Shadow. "Sh-Shadow" Sonic tool his hand away from the computer, "Rrrrrr ROAR!" the demon Shadow approached Sonic. Sonic stood in the same place he didn't feel the need to flee, Sonic turned his body facing Shadow completely as the demon approached him. Shadow was face to face with Sonic, "Rrrrr!" he growled in his face. "ENOUGH! Your not a demon Shadow so stop acting like one!" Sonic yelled standing in his ground. The demon Shadow pulled hi head back and then it seemed like as if he was going to attack, Sonic closed his eyes tight as he waiting for the shock of pain or something but instead he felt something against his lips. Sonic opened his eyes to see Shadow had kissed him, Sonic's cheeks turned a red color and pressed his lips against Shadow's lips more returning the kiss hugging his neck. They pulled away and Sonic smiled at him knowing that he was still the Shadow he knew, "I knew you wouldn't fail me" Sonic said hugging him tight. The back door opened, Silver and Fleetway were hugging each other and kissing. Sonic saw then and was surprise, Shadow grunt and tilt his head knowing what they were doing. "Huh?" Sonic was confused and Shadow closed the door to avoid Sonic seen anything unnecessary. "So there is where they have been all this time ... Well what can I say some things stay the same" Sonic said as Shadow nodded next him. "I wonder how Shade it doing?" Sonic asked.

Shade was on the top of the building waiting for his chance to come as the three were floating up high. They notice a dark glowing object from the distance pretty far, "What that a chaos emerald?" Mephiles asked. "It seems like one" Nightclaw answered, "It seems legit that that was a chaos emerald glow" Scourge flew to it's direction. "I will follow you" said Nightclaw going with him and Mephiles followed as well. Shade grinned, "Yes" Shade got out and quickly grabbed the small orb trying to pull it out. It was well set there, Shade used all his force to remove it till it budge. The orb that glow a dark purple was now loosing its glow as well as its was making the most disappear. "Everything should return to normal now" said Shade he looked around, "Mission completed Zeus everything is back to normal" said Shade. "Well done Shade and for Sonic as well, everything will be fine and returned to normal" Zeus said, Shade nod. "Do you think the other three notice?" Shade asked, "They knew about your plan Shade they just went a long with it" said Zeus causing shock into Shade's eyes. "T-they knew?" Shade asked, "I don't know what they were planning but it seems they wanted to make things easier by letting you and Sonic succeed" Zeus said. "What does that mean?" Shade asked, "It means they won" Zeus spoke.
