"My lord the gods have arrived" said the guard to the king, "Let them pass" said the king he looked like a young man that was 26 years old he seems to be a hedgehog color a light green with peach eyes and his muzzle was peach as well, he wearied the most soothing clothes. "As you wish" said the guard as he went to get them, the king felt relieved, Tails, Sonic, Shadow, and Shade to the throne room. The king looked down at the children he saw, he got up and went to them he crouch down in front of them, "Hello their... You must be the gods am I right?" the king asked. "Your the first to figure it out and not be surprise" said Shade, "What is their to thought? I always expect the unexpected" said the king. Sonic looked at him curiously and got close to the king, "Your a man of great dreams I can seance it your ideals are beyond imagine something of a true hero" said Sonic he smiled at the king sweetly putting his hands together. The king smiled back at Sonic, "And you are?" he asked, "I'm Sonic the hedgehog god of dreams" he said closing his eyes giggling. "How wonderful, and what you?" the king asked, "I am Shadow the hedgehog god of ideals" said Shadow through his telepathy as he communicated with everyone, "I am Shade the hedgehog god of truth" said Shade. The king nod to both if them and looked over at Tails who was trying to hide behind Shade, "And I see there is one more, your not a god are you?" the king asked. "No he is our friend Tails he is from the orphanage 4 villages away but we took him with us" said Sonic. "I see a young boy with no family your lucky to journey with this gods" said the king. "Well I'm King Gerald and this is my kingdom, I live here with my twin sons. I think you all know our problem we are having" said Gerald, "You don't need to worry about most of it we already solve, as for your harvest I can handle that" said Sonic, "I see you already solved most of the problem but.... We are out of gold" said Gerald, Shadow remember the crystal he took from the cave he pulled it out and went to the king. "Can this cover it?" Shadow asked, the king grabbed the crystal from Shadow's hands, "It's a valuable stone but one won't cover it" said Gerald, "There's a cave it's not too far but I think there you will find enough for your entire kingdom" said Shadow. Gerald was so glad his problems were solved most of them, Sonic grew all their harvest back to the way it was and Shadow lead the kingdom to the cave were they picked all the crystals they needed. Tails had a new little family that was willing to adopt him, things were going great in the kingdom. That night Sonic was looking outside the balcony and quietly went outside, he saw that everyone in the kingdom was sound asleep even most animals.

Sonic walked over the bridge but stop he knelled down looking at the water, he giggled cause some fishes jump out the water. "Hmm? Fishy don't sleep at night" said Sonic he got up and went nose to nose with Shadow, "Oh Shadow" Sonic giggled as he didn't saw him. Shadow looked at him curiously, "What are you doing out at this time?" he asked, "Well I was just going out for some time, want to come with me?" Sonic asked, "Yes just to keep a eye on you" said Shadow, Sonic giggles and grabbed his arm they were walking through the forest. "Where are we going?" Shadow asked, "You'll see" said Sonic. Sonic then stop and showed Shadow, "Look" he said, "... A lake?" Shadow asked. Sonic went to it kneeling and looked down in the water he poke it, "It's a beautiful lake isn't it?" Sonic asked. Shadow went next to Sonic and kneeled next to him, "It sure is peaceful" said Shadow, Sonic saw a flower floating in the water he tried to reach it but couldn't. Shadow saw him, Shadow reached over it and gave it to Sonic, "Thank you" he said grabbing it. Sonic got close to Shadow and sat on his lap, Shadow looked at him and hugged his waist holding him close. "Shadow?" Sonic asked, "Yes?" Shadow asked. "What will you do know? I mean after all our mission was to help the kingdom" Sonic looked up at him, "I think I will be staying for a while" said Shadow, "Your going to stay?" Sonic asked, "Yes after all I believe our mission was not only to help but to keep this place safe" said Shadow.

Sonic looked up the sky, "I will stay too, I like it here... Will you always be with me Shadow?" Sonic asked, Shadow tilt his head, "Yeah ... I think so" he said. "Good cause that's all I need" Sonic giggled, Shadow was confused why would Sonic ask that question. "You know being accompany by someone is better than being alone, you have so much to tell and share I'm actually glad I'm not alone in this world with you... and Shade and even Tails" said Sonic. "Your unique Sonic... You treat everyone the same, even after the times I pushes you away. Seen how understanding you were made me feel different" said Shadow, "It's just the way I am" said Sonic looked at Shadow, "I can't do that" said Shadow. Sonic smiled at him, "And your smile it's so cute and innocent" said Shadow, Sonic blush he looked at the lake but turned his gaze at Shadow. "You and I will always be together I know it, we will complete each others ideals and dreams" Sonic snuggled up to Shadow. Shadow looked up at the stars, "Yeah..." he whispered. As the morning came fast, Sonic was with the king, "Gerald good morning" said Sonic smiling, Gerald petted Sonic's head, "Morning Sonic" he said. Gerald was walking around the palace and was watching as the servants were decorating with roses everywhere, "King Gerald what is this all about?" Sonic asked curiously, "Today we celebrate roses and kisses" said king Gerald, "Roses and kisses?" Sonic asked. "Yes it's a festival we have someone buys a flower or looks for one and gives it to the person they love or they like or just simply care like a brother or friend. It's a very beautiful tradition we always have every year" said the king, "Ohhhh sounds interesting" said Sonic putting his finger near his mouth. "Yes... By the way where are your other two friends?" The king asked, "Shadow and Shade spend time with your twin boys they seem to have a connection and I think they are training together" said Sonic. "Ohh I see" said the King, "Sonic!" called a familiar voice Sonic looked aside, "Tails!" called Sonic as his twin tail friend went over to him and hugged him. "I'm so glad to see you so how is it with you and your new family?" Sonic asked, "It's great I love them ... Oh yeah I want to thank you" said Tails to the king, "It's no bother" said the king smiling at him. "So what are you doing here?" Sonic asked, "I came to visit I heard that today is a famous tradition" said Tails, "Yes king Gerald was just telling me" said Sonic. "Yeah can you tell us more?" Tails asked to king Gerald, Sonic looked up at him as well, "Alright both of you follow me" said King Gerald.

Shadow and one of the kings twin were in the backyard where there was a perfect liniment of segment for a small walk through the grass was very well trimmed and there was a fountain. "Well I know this is weird but at the other side there is the battle field there we pick out armor and fight with our swords" said one of the twins he looked just like the king but his green was a bit darker he looked almost 12 years old. "Why use such useless material nothing is more stronger than the bond of the body and spirit" said Shadow, "Yeah... But we are not gods to do that stuff" he said, "You don't have to be a god you just have to follow your instincts" said Shadow. His ears twitch he looked at the balcony of the castle and saw Sonic looking outside, he always liked to look beyond what he saw. Sonic then notice Shadow was staring at him and waves at Shadow, "Who's that?" asked the twin, "Just a friend of mine" said Shadow, "Kate" called his other twin brother that was with Shade, "Keith what is it?" asked Kate, "Today is the festival I bet I get to get a girl before you do" said Keith, "Yeah right" said Kate chuckling. "What festival?" Shadow asked, "I'll explain you see it's the time of the year we make a festival called "Roses and kisses" it's the time of the year were someone gives a rose to someone you care for allot, it's very sweet" said Kate. "Sounds like a waist of time" said Shade, "Sounds different" said Shadow, "You'll understand when someone cares for you, that person that cares for you no matter what" said Kate. "Shade!" Tails called going to Shade, "What do you want?" Shade asked, "Hi I wanted to see how you were doing" said Tails, "I'm okay" he answered. Tails smiled, "Well I was wondering if you were going to the festival?" Tails asked, "I don't think so, it looks like a waist of time" said Shade. "Ohhh well okay then bye" said Tails walking away feeling a bit sad, "Aww do you have to be harsh on the little guy after all it seems he cared" said Keith. "Shade is not a emotional one.. hopefully he will be able to show more emotion with time" said Shadow.
