"Justin. . ." Pattie began; her cheeks tinting slightly pink, probably out of embarrassment.
"Why are you holding so many lingeries. . .?" Mom hesitantly questioned, looking as though she wasn't sure whether she wanted to even know his answer or not.
"I, what?" Justin fired back, cocking both of his eyebrows downward. What confused me to no extent was the fact that he genuinely seemed like he didn't know what he was holding, and considering he's a pervert and such, it's confusing as hell.
I don't even know if he's faking it or not, because if I were him, I sure as hell wouldn't want to embarrass myself like that, geez.
"Lingeries, Justin. Lingeries. Lin-ge-ries―" I emphasized slowly, almost as if I'm teaching him how to say that word.
"Who says I'm holding lingeries?" He retorted certainly, sending my eyebrows flying downward to mirror his. Pattie opened her mouth to wake him up, but I stopped her just in time by holding my index finger out to point at the stuff he was holding in his hands, and close to his body.
Following where my finger was pointing, he dropped his gaze and looked down before his hands naturally released the grip they had on the clothes. Adding onto it was a gag that he intentionally gave out to express his emotions further, turning the whole situation twice as funny as it already is.
I couldn't help but laugh at his disgusted reaction. I mean, this was absolutely hilarious. Don't know if it seems to be to you, but it sure as hell is to me. Soon, Pattie and mom joined in the moment, causing the embarrassed little Justin to have his cheeks heated up.
"Stop laughing, people! Didn't anyone tell you it's unlucky for you to laugh at others' misfortune?" Justin pouted, folding his arms across his chest, frowning.
Cupping each of his cheeks with both of my palms, I pulled his face closer to mine and crossed my eye pupils, parting my lips lightly to tease him. "Is Justy wust angwy?"
Mom snorted loudly and continued laughing harder at the both of us, while Pattie was patting her chest slightly to stop herself from laughing too hard.
"Face it, this, right here, right now, is pretty damn hilarious," I chuckled loudly, sliding my hands down his neck and further down until the rested on his shoulders. "Don't act like you won't laugh if you were one of your other friends, Bieber."
Shrugging my hands off him, Justin sent me a glare, "Go away, God. I wasn't seeing, okay?" He unsuccessfully defended himself, but, carrying on anyway. "But that also explains why people were looking at the things I was holding, then back at me, then back at the things I was holding, then ― I think they just walked away." he squinted his eyes, ending with a sheepish cough.
Pattie was speechless at her own son's silliness whereas mom heaved a sigh at him but I'm sure they were both used to him and his silly self after a few months of working together whether it's based on career or not.
"Just go get your things paid," Pattie stated gently with a smile, turning back to my mom as they continued choosing dresses. "So we're going back first." I mumbled, before pulling Justin by arm, to the cashier.
