Epilogue

"YES Wilson make everything perfect and make sure that this will be memorable for her. And the flight, make sure that we will be just on time. Okay bye." I turned off the call.

It's a special night. Today is our second year anniversary, I prepared a dinner date for the two of us and without her knowing, nagpa-empake ako ng gamit namin para sa cruise-ship celebration namin sa Asia. Ang bilis lang ng panahon and honestly speaking I will admit it. I fell in love with her each and everyday.

She makes the best pastries just for me and Era, dito lang siya sa bahay so hands on siya sa amin. At hindi ako nagsasawang kasama niya at magising sa tabi niya every morning. She's trully the one. The one who completed me.

I would not say that this relationship was perfect, because that would be a lie. We also have glitch sometimes. Well that's the reality, this would be pointless if we won't have misunderstandings.

Misunderstanding, parang bata lang 'no? Kung akala niyo pangteenager lang yong LQ-LQ, then you were wrong. Syempre nangyayari rin yon sa mag-asawa. Minsan, mga usapang wala namang dahilan pero magkakatampuhan, hindi magpapapnsinan but at the end of the day o kaya paggising kinabukasan sure magiging okay na. Ganyan kami, we misunderstood one another at times pero naayos din namin with a simple hug, a smile o sa simpleng titigan. That's how love works, no need for a a wordy explanation.

Sinuot ko na ang coat ko and decided to go down. For sure matatagalan pa ang asawa ko. She was always like that, pero sabi nga nila it's a woman's thing. Ewan ko kung anong ritwal nila. Then I remembered my princess, I'm sure when she grew up she will be as beautiful as her Mom.

Teka asan na ba ang batang iyon? I need to talk to her. Three days kaming maawala ng Mama niya.

"Joy!"

She was watching a car racing show. Parang lately ayan ang madalas kong nakkitang pinanonood niya.

"Era."

"Era." Tawag ko ulit pero this time sumagot na siya.

"Don't bother me now daddy, the race is about to end, and it's close. I need to see who will win this game."

When I was young I also watch race and now I realized matagal na rin pala mula nung huli akong nakapanood ng race.

"Yes number 5 wins, you see that Dad? That swift move, bang! Love that!" Masayang pagdiriwang niya without looking at me. Shit!

Medyo nangunot ang noo ko. I know girls at six, should watch barbie, cartoons and such. So it was weird that my young girl enjoyed racing very much.

"Someday Daddy I would be the one who will be racing there." "You buy me a sports car huh." This time nakatingin na siya sa akin. Kaya pala lately nagpapabili siya sa akin ng toy car, then she plays car racing on her Ipad and XBOX and now watching this. I don't want to overthink dahil bata pa ang anak ko. Pero what I imagined for her in the future is to be a model, a beauty queen and not a racer. God! What's happening to my princess?!
