"Delayed 2 minutes" he whispered to himself, as he looked at the bright board hanging high above him in the train station. He was nervously playing with his hands, trying to ease the fast beating of his heart. And there was only one reason for his uneasiness, and that reason was on a train, getting closer and closer to him.
That reason was ________.
Today was meant to be a perfect day, he had planned it to the very last minute. He wanted to be in control of everything, yet he couldn't control the anxiety building up inside of him. Today was the day he would tell her how he felt; that's what he had promised to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a train arriving at the station, and no long after he felt his cheeks warm up to the sight of her, and the way she seemed to shine every time she smiled.
"Ohayou Kiku-san" she said in a happy voice, the happiest he had ever heard her.
"Ohayou ______-san" he said softly "w-welcome to Nagoya"
"Hello Nagoya" she laughed "now show me the planetarium!" She half screamed, taking his hand and dragging him out of the station. A new wave of heat rushed to Kiku's face as she did so.

______ was a smart and passionate girl, but just the kind of girl who lives among stars and planets. She loved astronomy as much as her brother loved cats. And today, she was attending the biggest planetarium in the world.
"I can't believe you never told me about this place!"
" Well the planetarium was being remodeled... And Heracles-san said I shouldn't bring you until it was ready" he stated calmly.
"You should stop listening to my brother" she said in a fake tone of annoyance "But thank you for bringing me here" she smiled, making his heart race again.
"I-it's my pleasure. Let me show you around _____-san" he said nervously.

"Ah... It's like we are not longer on Earth!" She said in ecstasy
"Technically we are, this is a replica of a starry sky as seen from Earth" he stated matter-of-factly. "The space projections are scheduled in the afternoon."
"I wasn't been literal Kiku"she half smiled "it's just I hadn't seen a sky like this since... un... A long time ago" she said; nostalgia apparent in her tone.
"I'm sorry... W-we can go sit for the morning show about constellations" he said feeling slightly ashamed.
"Yes please!" She smiled again, leading him to the best seats still available.

The display of stars started no long after, but Kiku couldn't help himself from looking at her, instead of the million stars in the dome. She was happy, he could tell, but at the same time, the light of the stars made a spark of sadness shine in her eyes. And in between the outer display of stars and the inner turmoil of thoughts and emotions, the show ended.... But they didn't move.
"You know I noticed you stared at me all throughout the show" she stated bluntly.
"Eto... I..." He felt the sudden uprising of his blood pressure.
"I really enjoyed it... It reminded me of my mom" she said softly " Heracles got to spend more time with her, but ... she used to tell me stories about the stars every night" she smiled faintly, looking at him "Every time I look at the stars, I feel her with me."
" _______-san" he said softly, almost as a whisper.
"Don't use that tone Kiku, I'm fine. I'm happy to be in the most amazing place on earth... With you" she smiled taking his hand. "Now, let's see the rest of this magical place" she giggled, leading him out of their seats.

The rest of the day went by almost as fast as a meteor in the clear sky. However, even though he was happy, Kiku couldn't stop thinking about what she said.... Was that "with you" supposed to be a love confession or was he... Just a friend?
And he was thinking so hardly about this matter, that he forgot to keep the promise he had made to himself.
