"Stupid rain!" she thought while staring out the window. "You've just ruined our picnic" she muttered angrily, unconscious of the shy blond head peeking through the door frame.
"_____" the soft voice of the Canadian boy whispered. She turned to look at him, her e/c eyes drenched in frustration tears. "Please come with me" he continued with a comforting smile planted on his face.
She nodded, swallowing her tears for the boy not to worry, and faked a smile while following him out of the living room. Too bad Matthew did notice the sadness on her eyes, but been as kind hearted as he is, he already had a solution for her predicament.
Smiling widely he stopped at the dining room and opened it slowly for her, expecting joy to shine through her eyes once again... but what happened next alarmed him, as it was something he wasn't expecting.
At the first look of the inside of the room, tears started to fell down her cheeks, under the worried look of her boyfriend. The room was not in it's normal state; instead, the table had been replaced for a blanked, above wich layed not only a basket filled with food but two cups of ginger ale and many rose petals.
In the blink of an eye, _____'s shock came to an end, and her arms caught the Canadian's body in a warm embrace before kissing his lips in an equally loving way.
"Thanks Matt... this is perfect!" she said with extreme happiness. "I just didn't want to let the rain ruin our date" he replied softly, as a small blush took place in his cheeks. Once again _____ smiled, placing her hand on the now redder face of him whom she loved "Matt, you must be a sun, because you've brighten my day" she whispered before her lips found their way into his.
