*Set in ancient China*
"Get out of the way!" Screamed the intruder.
"I won't let you near my master" said the young servant in reply, gripping the sword tightly.
"What a stupid boy" he snickered "You are nothing but a fly to me" he said getting nearer, the arrogance overflowing his tone "I could kill you in the blink of an eye"
"You don't scare me. I was trained to protect my master, and I won't falter" replied the young servant, his voice strong and determined.
"Pity, I wouldn't like to ruin such a pretty face, but you leave me no choice" said the intruder, pointing his sword at the servant "You will die here"
"I..." he smirked "beg to differ" said the young servant before running towards the intruder, with such a speed and elegance that would make his master proud.
The clash of metal against metal filled the air, as the battle between the intruder and the young servant progressed. They were both aiming for the mortal blow.
"I've had enough of you, stupid boy!" screamed the now exhausted and lightly injured intruder "I came to kill the imperial prince and I will leave with his head"
"Try, as I won't let you near him" answered the servant.
"Enough!" said a third powerful voice, coming from the inside of the imperial chambers.
"How nice" smiled the intruder "the prince has come to meet my sword"
"My sword will meet your heart before you touch my master" said the servant, his sword ready to attack.
The doors to the imperial chambers opened, and only the sound of fabric against fabric could be heard. The son of the emperor and rightful heir to the throne had appeared; he was known to be brave and wise, and always kind to those he loved.
"Your imperial majesty" said the servant, not taking his eyes away from the intruder "I beg you to go back inside. I do not want your majesty's clothes to be stained by this vermin's blood."
"You are a rightful servant, but this is not your fight" he said sternly. "I can't let my most valuable treasure to be lost in battle" he said smiling this time.
"This filthy servant has owned your care, your majesty" laughed the intruder. "That's why I've come to kill you. You are not worthy to rule this empire!" he finished, running with all his might towards the prince.
In a swift move, the servant moved to protect his master. The clash of swords resonated in the silence of the castle, followed by the small sound of dripping blood.
"Ahg..." mumbled the intruder, collapsing to the floor. The servant had successfully stopped the attack, and the prince, from his shielded position, had slipped his own sword between the right side and right arm of his servant, to pierce the intruder's stomach.
"Well done_____" whispered the prince to his servant's ear, dropping his sword to envelop his servant in a tight embrace. "I told you to stop; I don't want to lose the woman I love"
"Y-Your majesty..." said the servant, lowering her sword "They can't know who I really am..."
"I used your name, use mine. Please _____" he said, lips to the back of her shoulder.
"They can't know, prince Yao" she whispered the last part, almost shyly.
"Thank you" he smiled, placing a kiss in the back of her shoulder.
"Prince Yao, please let go. I can hear the guards" she said in a low, scared tone.
"No, I won't ever let go. You've saved my life more times than I can count. I'll become Emperor soon, and you'll be free" he smiled, softly pressing his lips to her ear "you'll be free to marry me."
"Cut!" Screamed the man standing behind the camera. " Great job today! Both of you!"
"Thank you" said ____ and Yao in unison, as they bowed lightly.
"Everyone! We'll take a break of 20 minutes. Get the guards and governors ready for the next scene. I also need a bit of make up for our stars" he said goodheartedly.
"____, this film brings back memories, doesn't it?" smiled Yao, looking at her.
"You are China, this is practically a film about your memories" she laughed.
"You know what I mean-aru" he half laughed.
"I do. But I don't' remember having to dress up like a boy to beat you in sword fighting" she smirked "or to make you propose"
"No... "he said, taking her hand in his "All you needed to do was smile".
