Invisible Special Chapter

Author's note: Someone told me I should put Trent's POV already so... here it is. Muaha. Finally, nakaisip din ng plot!
P.S. Please don't hate me after reading this.
P.P.S. The setting of this chapter is in Manhattan, New York.
And... here goes nothing.

Trent Ryans' Point of View

I swallowed the lump that is forming on my throat and started counting in my head. We've only been here for about an hour but I can't wait to get out of this place.

I watched as Mia read her lines with her voice dripping with emotion.

She shook her head. "No... please believe me. I didn't do anything. I love you and I will never betray you. Please...." her face crumpled as she said the last line in a whisper.

And... that is my cue to leave.
Sigh. I removed the headphones that I'm wearing and placed it to the stand next to me. I turned off the mic that is in front of me and walked out of the booth quietly.

Geez. Finally! I sat on the bench and waited for Mia to come out. After a while, nakita kong natapos niya ng basahin ang linya niya at nung isa pang voice-over character.

"Oh gosh, that was a dream come true!" She said giddily as she clapped her hands.
I rolled my eyes. "You could've done that at home y'know."

She scrunched up her nose. "Eew. And dub those Korean dramas in Filipino? No fucking way, Trent. Ang korni."

Napailing na lang ako habang lumalapit kay Skylar, kaibigan ko na siyang nagsu-supervise sa pag dub ng mga foreign movies and dramas na pinapalabas sa network nila.

Sky sighed. "You know this is so much work, right, Ryans? Gah."

I smiled sheepishly at her. "I'm sorry. Just wanna make someone else's dream come true."

"You're not even a fairyfucking godfather," she mumbled before eyeing Mia in disgust. "I don't even know why you are with that girl. She looks so... bratty. And she is sooo annoying," she looked at me. "Then you told me you've courted her for four freaking years? Come on, man, where are your senses? I can't believe you've been blind for four years. I'm feeling sorry for you," she stated whilst shaking her head.

I can't help but laugh at what she said. "Oh, I know, Sky. I know." I said.

After saying my goodbye to Sky, Mia and I decided to leave the studio. People are all over the street, spring is just about to end and people just want to scatter around. Geez, Manhattan is always full of people.

Tsk. Who am I kidding? Lagi namang busy ang New York. Kaya nga mas gusto ko dito. There'll never be dull moments here.

I was back on my senses when I felt Mia tugging my arm. Mia talked to her while I checked my phone for any messages.

"Trent? Com'on." Mia tugged at my hand again.

The host led us to a table at the corner of the restaurant. She gave each of us a menu. "Your waiter will be here shortly, excuse me."

I nodded at her as I look at the food on the menu. After a while, dumating na rin yung waiter at nag-order na kami ni Mia.

"So," I started. "How's work?" I asked her while waiting for our food.

She rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I'm hating how hectic my schedule is. My boss gave me a week-long vacation then I need to go to Paris for some business meeting he wants me to attend," she grumbled. "Buti na lang nga, I have time pa to arrange the wedding."
