9: Invisible

Chapter 9

Iniwas ko yung tingin ko sa kanila at tinignan na lang yung mga crew dun. Ako na ang susunod na oorder. Sana pala, hindi na ako um-attend dito.

Pero, barkada day to, diba? Dapat kaming magbabarkada lang ang andito. Bakit andito si Faye? Bakit siya sumama dito?

"Zoe? Zoe, right?"

I looked up and found a guy with the same uniform as me. Hindi ko siya kilala. How come he knows me?

"Ah. Yeah."

He smiled at me. "I'm Skye, Trent's best bud." he extended his arm. I took his hand.

"Ah. Hi. Zoe." I said.

"I know. Kaklase kita sa DA eh. Ewan talaga yung si Trent. Ako dapat yung katabi mo. Nung nakilala ka niya, inagawan ako ng upuan."

Ngumiti naman ako. Lokong Trent yun. Pero na-appreciate ko yung ginawa niya.

"You wanna go first?" offer ni Skye.

"Ah. No, ikaw na. Ikaw naman nauna eh."

"Oh, okay." he turned back to the crew para sabihin yung order niya. Tapos he stepped aside para naman maka-move forward ako. Magkatabi na kami ngayon.

"Hey, uhm. I want to thank you."

"Huh?" sabi ko. Why would he want to thank me?

"Last sem. Remember? Sinipa mo si Trent when he said you're one of his 'fans'?" I nodded. "Because of that, natauhan siya. At least now he knows not every girl in the campus likes him."
