Chapter three

Delsin p.o.v.

As I wake up from a lovely night with my wife, I check the time and it was 9:15. Great. We have time. I look over to my left to see my beautiful Raven in her deep slumber. She's even more gorgeous when she's asleep. Sometimes I wonder why am I so lucky. Why am I married to the most beautiful woman in the world? Why do I have 2 of most beautiful children in the world? My life is amazing. I tried to get off the bed but Raven woke up. "Hey handsome! What are you doing?" Raven asked. "Ah I'm just getting up and getting ready for the horseback riding today" I said. "Oh yeah that was at 12:noon right?". "Yep" I said. "And what time is it now?" Raven asked with her face in a pillow. "9:17. Don't worry, you have time to sleep Rae" I said chuckling. "Thank Azar" she said. "Who's Azar? You've never mentioned him before" I asked. "It's just this guy who took me in when my father was trying to kill me. Azar was more of a father to me than my actual father" Raven said. "Oh cool so he's the one who raised you. When do I get to meet him?" I asked. "You can't. He's dead. My father killed him for hiding me from him. If it wasn't for Azar, I'd probably be what my father always wanted me to be: a horrible monster" Raven said as a tear came down her face. "Look Raven, obviously Azar didn't die in vain. If it wasn't for him: I wouldn't be in Jump City, the kids wouldn't exist, the world probably wouldn't exist. And the biggest difference Azar made is that if he didn't die to protect you, you'd still be in Azarath and we would have never met" I said wiping Raven's tear away. She looked at me and smiled. "Yeah.... yeah I guess your right. I don't even know what would happen if I never met you. I love you so much Delsin" Raven said as she jumped off the bed and kisses me. I was surprised at first but I then kissed her back. As we pulled away we started panting for air. As I caught my breathe I looked at Raven right in the eyes. "I love you too Raven. I love you so much" I said kissing her again. I never thought I'd ever get married 12 years ago. I thought I'd still be saving Seattle from bio terrorists, drug dealers and D.U.P. soldiers with the help of my friends Fetch and Eugene. But I never thought I'd join the Teen Titans and marry Raven. Sometimes my life surprises me. "Hey, I'm gonna take a shower. I'll be back in 5 minutes" I said as I grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom.

Raven p.o.v

As Delsin went to the bathroom to take his shower, I decided to help the kids pick out their clothes for today. I got up and put on my robe and walked to Sabrina's room and knocked on her door. "Good morning mom, what's up?" Sabrina said yawning. "Good morning sweetie, I'm just here to help you get ready for the horseback riding today. Now let me just go in your closet and....".
"No! Its okay mom. I'll find something on my own" Sabrina said. "Nonsense! Now come on. I know I bought you a nice purple shirt..." I said. As I opened her closet door a book fell down. I pick it up and noticed it was my old spell book! "Sabrina! Is there anything you want to tell me?" I asked showing her that I found the book. "I was just reading it and practiced some spells. I'm sorry" Sabrina said. "Look Sabrina, I know you wanna learn magic but you have to understand that some of these spells are dangerous and I don't want you to be doing any spells without me or your father there supervising you. Well mostly me. But on the other hand, what spells did you learn?" I asked. "Well I learned how to sheild myself and others and I learned how to attack with magic" Sabrina said. "And when did you have time to practice?" I asked curiously. "Sometimes when I say I'm going to the my friends house I go to the park and meditate or practice magic" Sabrina said. "Well next time just tell you're gonna practice magic cause I could help you. You don't have to do so much on your own. That's why me and your father are here for" I said. "Well mostly I try to be like you. So individual. So independent. I thought when you were a kid you'd never had to ask for help. You're so strong and smart" Sabrina said. "I thought so too. Until some people came into my life and change the way I feel about myself. In a good way and bad" I said. "Was one of those people dad?" Sabrina asked. "Yes but it was mostly my father" I said. "How did he change you?". "That's a long story. Maybe I'll tell you later but for now, let's just get you ready for today" I said. "Actually mom, I already picked out my outfit. Maybe you could go help Zack" Sabrina said as she put her clothes out on her bed. "Oh well are you sure?" I asked. "Yes mom go! I like the way my clothes look" Sabrina said as she used her magic to push me out the door and closed it. Whoa! Her magic is surprisingly strong! She really has been practicing. Now I know how Garfield felt after all those years of throwing him out the window' I thought with a smile. I walked down from Sabrina's room when suddenly she grabbed my wrist. I looked back at her. "Mom, maybe we could train in the park tomorrow?" Sabrina asked. "Sure thing sweetie" I said as Sabrina closed her door. I started making my way to Zack's room. I knocked on his door. "Mom, I'm right here. What's wrong?" Zack said as I turned around to face him. "Did you just neon sprint up the stairs because I swear I didn't hear you?" I asked. He nodded his head. "Okay. Anyways, I thought you might need some help getting ready for today?" I asked. "Well mommy, I'm only 7 years old so yeah I could use some assistance" Zack said as he neon sprinted to his bed. I laughed at his confidence. He must get that from his father. As I was looking through Zack's closet, I wondered if Zack had anymore... visions. "So Zack have you had anymore....visions lately?" I asked. "No I didn't. Why do you ask?". "Just wondering. So if you did, you'd tell mommy right?" I asked. "Yeah I'd tell you" Zack said as he neon sprinted to me and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Love you sweetie". "Love you too mommy". As we finish our mother and son bonding moment I picked out a nice blue sweater with black jeans to go with it. "Here. Try this on" I said as I handed Zack the clothes. The clothes looked perfect on him. "Great. Now I have to get ready" I said as I looked at the time. It was 11:01. Ah Shit! I have 59 minutes to get ready for today. So I just teleported to my room to get changed. As I reached my room, I found Delsin changing hid clothes. As he turned around he jumped to surprise when he saw me. "Don't you knock. I'm changing" he said covering himself up. "Delsin, we're married. You don't need to hide your junk I've seen it already besides you've done that to me so many times it's uncountable" I said kissing him. "True. I have done that in the past. And I will never regret it" he said as he neon sprinted to me and kisses me on the cheek. I chuckle and blush at the time. "Do you realize that it's 11:07 and we have to leave by 12:00 right?" Delsin asked sarcastically. "No I did not know that. I thought we were leaving at 1:00" I said sarcastically. "Haha the master of sarcasm returns" he said bowing at my presents. I punched him in his arm for being stupid. Which is why I love him so much. "Okay okay I'm sorry" Delsin said as he put on his sweater and jean jacket vest. "Aren't you gonna put on a jacket? Its kinda chilly outside" I said. He looked at me with a smirk. "Raven, its cute that you're worried about my warmth but I'm also a smoke conduit. I'm always warm. No matter what weather we're in" Delsin said doing his finger smoke trick. "You're a smoke conduit not a fire conduit. You could still get cold so you're wearing a jacket" I said. Actually Raven I'm both fire and smoke. I'm learning new tricks. So I'm warm already. I'm not wearing a jacket" Delsin said walking away. "Dont be a smartass! You're wearing this jacket whether you like it or not" I said. "You can't make me I'm the man. I wear the pants in this relationship" Delsin said. "Azreath metrion zinthos" I cast a spell. Suddenly Delsin was wearing a nice grey jacket.
"You're also a married man whose pants are to big to wear in this relationship so that's why we are equal" I said kissing him. It was 11:49. We decided to leave a few minutes early so we could get to the park faster.

Delsin p.o.v

As we got to the park, we didn't see Starfire and Nightwing. So we decided to do something in the meantime. Raven and Sabrina were by the tree meditating. Boy, I haven't seen Raven meditate in a long time. She really must be at peace right now. As those two were meditating, Zack and I are about to have a race. Conduit style. "Alright first one around the park is the winner" Zack said. "Your on" I said. We both started the countdown. "3...2...1.. Go!" We said in usion  as we sprinted. I was gonna slow down a little to let Zack win but as I was slowing down a little, Zack lapped me. Hard! I decided to push up to his speed but that kid is too fast! I tried giving it my all but I was close to winning. "Ha! I win! You lose!" Zack said as he neon sprinted a victory lap. "Wow! Wow that kid is fast. Maybe it's the electricity power juicing him up" I said. "Or maybe it's that you're just slow" Sabrina said. "Or maybe it's because you're getting old" Raven said chuckling."I don't need your sly comments, Sabrina and Raven you're older than me I wouldn't be talking about getting old if I were you". "Well I saw that from a mile away. Del, you got lapped" Nightwing said. "Oh so you finally show. Why didn't you show before I lost my dignity" I asked. "We were just getting ready ourselves. Sorry we kept you waiting. Are you ready to leave?" Starfire asked. "Yeah lets go" Raven said. And we were off.
