Delsin p.o.v

I don't know how I really got Raven to agree to this but she's actually let me battle my inner self. She asked Augustine if there was a spare room they could use, one with some space. Curious but accepting look on her face, Augustine showed us to a room in the far hallway of the facility. As she left, Raven looked at me with a serious look. "Sit down in the middle of the room". I did as she instructed. "Azerath Meterion Zinthos!" She chanted as a small pouch landed in the palm of her hand. "What is that?" I asked curiously. "Quiet. I need to get this right" Raven said as she opened it and started walking in a large circle around me and just started sprinkling some weird looking dust on the ground. As she finished, Raven walked to the lights and switched it off. "Hey! What's up?...". I said quiet!" Raven yelled. I immediately shut up, not wanting to anger her any further. Raven then chanted again "Azerath Meterion Zinthos!" And after that, The room lights up in a purple color. Raven walked in the circle and sat in front of me. She leaned over and kissed me. As she leaned back, she looked at me with worried eyes. "Are you nervous?" She asked. "A little but I knew this was long time coming". "Just know that whatever happens, I love you. So do the kids" Raven said as she kissed me one more time. As she released me, she looked at me. "Now close your eyes and summon some of your power. All of them. Smoke. Neon. Video. Ice. Concrete. All of it". I nodded as I tried to do it simultaneously. A few minutes later nothing worked. "Try doing it separately" Raven said, now holding my hands. I nodded again and summoned my smoke. I started to feel my hands burn a little. "Great, now neon!" Raven said. As she said that, I focused my attention on neon while balancing it with smoke. Just then, I saw through my eyelids that something started to glow. "Alright. Now Video" Raven said. I started to sweat a little due to my lousy control of my powers. I infused my video powers in the mice and I can hear the pixels Humm and vibrate my arms a little. "Okay just two more Delsin" Raven said. I really started to over work myself as I pushed out two of the last powers in as concrete and Ice came to the surface. "Alright good" Raven said as she looked around them as there was a dome of energy. It was cut into half as one side was white and the other side was red. Me, who was actually exhausted from focusing so much power, looked around to see the dome. "W-What....is this?" I asked, still panting. "This dome will confirm who is who. The white side represents you. The red side represents your alternate person. If white eats up more of the red it means you're winning but if the red side is eating up the white....". "It means I'm getting my ass kicked?". Raven nodded her head at me. "And this isn't no regular fight to defeat. No. This is a fight to determine who controls this body and it's power. A fight to the death. You must kill him to succeed in gaining more power. But if he kills you...you lose everything" Raven explained. I gulped at the last part. "Well....that's a lot to take in. But I'm sure I can pull it off". ".... Promise me". I stared at my wife in confusion. "What?" I asked. "Promise me you'll beat him. I don't want any 'I don't knows' or 'I'll trys'. I want an actual settling agreement. Promise me!" Raven said, glaring directly in my eyes. I scratched the back of my head and smiled nervously. "Yeah of course I will. I..... promise to come back alive and more powerful too". "Alright, good luck Delsin. I love you" Raven said as she kissed my cheek before telling me to close my eyes. As I did, I started to relax myself, cause I was very tense. Soon enough I felt Raven's fingers touch the center of my forehead and chanted the three magic words. "Azerath Meterion Zinthos!". Very soon after that, I just felts super light as I was becoming unconscious. 'This time.....one of us walks out of this room inner me......and it will be me' was my last thought as everything around me faded as everything went black.

In the mindscape

Delsin's p.o.v

I didn't know where I was. It was like a dark room. There was only one light and it was one me. Everything else was just an empty void. Just....nothing. I look around to see if there was a pathway or a doorway or at least a light switch but yet again, nothing. I don't know what to do. "So..... it's about time. You finally decided to see me" a voice said. "What's that?! Who's there?!" I shouted out. "Don't be a dumbass! You know exactly who this is! but I can't exactly blame you. You were always an idiot" the voice taunted. "You freak! Show yourself! Let's end this!" I shouted, reading myself. Then I heard chuckling. "All in good time Delsin. This has been a long time coming and I want to savor every moment of it. Enjoy beating you. Killing you. Going out there and rapping your wife and turning your children and everyone you love into slaves!". My body was burning as smoke rose from my shoulders. "Like hell I'm gonna let that happen! Even if you get out there, Raven will kill you. She's stronger than us!". Something happened that really didn't settle my nerves. He started laughing! "Oh Delsin you're so naive! Honestly! Do you think that....you know what? Nevermind. Your stupid brain will never comprehend what awesome power that has been bestowed upon us!" Inner Delsin said as he walked into the spotlight. "But let's cut to the chase. I know you're here for my power. You won't receive it...." I pushed him out of the spotlight as I yelled. "Like hell I won't. Do you even know what's happening out there?!". "Oh...I do. Believe me, I do" just as those words left his mouth the whole room cleared up. When it did, I couldn't really call it a room anymore since we were outside now. But where we were..... it brought back memories I tried to forget...... The place where I lost everything of my old self.... My vision of life... A part of my courage....my the last of my family....The last concrete tower in Seattle....the tower where Reggie died. As I glanced around the area as I could kinda replay some scenes of the fight I had with Augustine. "Yeah, I know what you're thinking about. The first fight you had while using my power. It was a sight to see. While you were an amateur, could have killed her in one attack but you held your own" Evil Delsin said as he sat on the edge of the platform, staring into the sea. "If there was one thing we had in common is our grief over his death.....". I sighed and sat down beside him. "What I felt for him....you must've felt the same for Reggie, huh? Despite the whole 'I'm gonna kill everyone' shtick" I asked. Evil Delsin just sighed and nodded. "The only reason why I was surpressed for so long was because of him. He....calmed me in ways that I didn't even know. I only surface if you are feeling down or angry and I mean really angry but that guy really just knew how to calm the both of us. While he was sure a buzzkill and it was funny to me that he pissed you off at times, he was.....cool" He said to me which actually made my eyes widened. "Yeah...you thought it was you alone that suppressed me? Ha! Don't make me laugh! You're mind was the most fragile part of you. If it wasn't for Reggie, I'd would've broken out the first two weeks!" Evil Delsin said. I just sighed. All this time.....It was Reggie who kept me sane....after his death. I thought I had controlled him but it turns out Reggie did another thing for me that I didn't even know about. 'Delsin! Delsin! Can you hear me?!' a voice called in my head. Weird right? I thought was already in his head..... So wouldn't Evil Delsin hear it too? 'No. Delsin you idiot! Your in your mindscape. But that's not why I'm here! Delsin he's lieing to you! I never did anything, it was all you!' the voice said. 'Never did what? Who are you!' I demanded. 'Oh my god! Are you kidding me! Don't tell me you already forgot! I already told you! my Jarvis to your Iron Man.....'. It took me a second to realize. 'R-R-Reggie!..... You're in here?' I asked in shock. 'Yeah little bro.... don't worry I'm here for emotional support. Everything physical mind you.... you're gonna have to do on your own' the voice now known as Reggie said. I nodded and looked at evil Delsin still attempting to look sad. "Yeah I guess you're right but want to know my strongest part of me? I'm sure you already know though but just to confirm your theory...." I asked. Evil Delsin just sighed. "Well whatever.... I'm gonna kill you anyway so might as well get to know my first victim" He said with an sinister grin but as quick as it came was the same it left as I grabbed his neck and threw him off the platform. Unfortunately, he had a grip on my sleeve so he eventually pulled me down with him as we both fell in the water. As we were underwater, conduit powers were a no go so we settled for just hand to hand combat. Evil Delsin punched my stomach hard, forcing me to release the air I was holding in order to survive underwater. I had a minute at most before I drowned. Evil Delsin kept bringing me down everytime I tried to swim up for air. The fight just started and I was already losing.

In the real world

Raven's p.o.v

It was a good hour before I saw the red side of the dome move more to the white side. I could only wipe my eyes from a tear as Delsin was losing. "Delsin....please don't lose" I silently said as I gripped his hand and prayed. Yeah! Weird. The demon....praying!
Impossible, right? But for the man I love to be safe, I'd pray to every god known to man! He's going to get out of this even if I had to sell my soul to do it.

Sabrina's p.o.v

"What do you think they're doing in there?" Michelle asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "Beats me. Maybe their talking about who's gonna take on Trigon". "Obviously it's gonna be Uncle Delsin. I mean Trigon wants him the most so let him fight him" Leo said. Zack laughed. "You think mom is gonna let that happen, you're clearly mistaken. When it comes to my dad and us, mom's such a worry wart!". Starfire decided it was time to speak. "Maybe it was to...." Starfire immediately stopped herself and blushed. "Aunty Starfire, are you alright? You're turning red?" I asked. She waved her hand at me, signaling she was fine. 'Ugggh! Adults are weird' I thought. "Well whatever it is must be important. Probably discussing what to do with him...." Fetch said as she pointed to Hank. "What did I do?" He asked. "You know Delsin hates your guts! I'm surprised you're even alive right now" Eugene said. "I would've been if it weren't for this beautiful lady here" Hank said, pointing to Starfire. Said woman blushed at the compliment but Nightwing narrowed his eyes. "Well if Delsin, Fetch and Eugene doesn't trust you then you're under our watch as well, along with Augustine". "Maybe we should go and check up on them?" I asked. "Trust me little 'rina, if I remember your mother correctly, she hates it when she's interrupted" Garfield said as he shuddered all of a sudden. "Are you alright dad?" Leo asked. "Yes. I just had a.... Flashback that's all". All the adults in the room laughed. Cecilia, who had been silent this whole time, whispered to me. "Your family is kinda weird". I smiled at her. "I know but there my weird family". It's been too long since this was happening. The day where my family reunites once more. Ever since mom and Zack's disappearance hit us, our family wasn't the same. Dad was either mourning or investigating their whereabouts. He had no time for me and when he did, it was very brief. While Uncle Nightwing and Aunty Starfire were very welcoming, they had children of their own. They had not a lot of time for me, same with Aunt Terra and Uncle
Garfield. Fetch and Eugene were never around and when they were, it wasn't like how it used to be. Usually, Fetch would rain down kisses and hugs and let me sit on her lap when talk my father. Now I won't even get hug. Eugene used to let me ride his back and let me play with his video angels but now he just nods his head at me and both he and Fetch just go straight to my father. The only affection I get was from my friends Nick, Michelle and Leo and even they only show little to none. Those past couple of years were hard on everyone especially me. I felt like it was all my fault that Zack was kidnapped. He found that book cause of my carelessness. So when he turned up..... I couldn't even try and hold back my tears. But when I saw my Mom......I felt so happy. After that whole alternate Raven think she was going through, seeing mom like she is now got me so glad to see her. She really scared me when I was in that interrogation cell with Michelle. The thought of mom.....trying to kill me. I couldn't deal with it but seeing that it wasn't her gave me reassurance. 'Now that my family is finally together.... I won't let anyone separate us! No one will cause danger to them. Not on my watch!' I thought.
