Raven p.o.v.

We were flying in the sky, following Eugene to his hideout. Eugene had angels who held Zack as we flew ahead. "Are you sure they won't glitch out and have my son falling to his death?!" I said trying to sound calm. "Don't worry Raven, he'll be fine. Those are my trustworthy servants. They've never failed me before. Not once! They've got your son" Eugene said. I felt a little calmer than before knowing that. But I still didn't trust them. Just because they've never messed up, doesn't mean he can't mess up.

As we landed, we were by some movie theatres and some local electronic stores. I was quite confused. "This is your hideout?" I questioned staring at the electric store. "You're close. It's in here" Eugene said pointing to this shaft in the ground. I felt a little stupid at that moment. "Don't worry, Fetch thought it was the movie theater" Eugene chuckled. I smiled. "Come on my trusty servants. Bring the boy" Eugene said as he opened the shaft and the angels brought in Zack. Eugene standed there and kept the shaft open for me to enter. "Thank you" I said as I passed him and walked down the stairs.

The angel set Zack on the couch gently. "That will be all. Thank you" Eugene said. The angel suddenly vanished into blue smoke. Eugene grabbed a blanket and put it on Zack. He was very cold. Eugene place was better than I'd imagine. He had a couch, a few computers, tv and cable, a refrigerator, a bathroom. I sat down on the next couch with a blanket. "You want some hot chocolate?" Eugene asked. "Sure". As Eugene made the hot chocolate, he used his video wings to fly around the kitchen. "Is that really necessary?" I smirked. "The floor in here is really cold. So yeah it's necessary. Don't you judge me" Eugene said. "No one's judging". Eugene walked in with the cups of hot chocolate. He even made one for Zack when he wakes up. He left Zack's hot chocolate on the table and brought over ours. He gave me mine and sat in an arm chair across from me and took a sip. "Thank you for everything. It was really nice of you to let us stay here" I said sipping my hot beverage. "It was no problem. You're my friend". I smiled at Eugene. Me and him were alike in ways. We usually hide from the world then explore it. We don't really socialize well. We both have terrible pasts. Out of everyone, Eugene understood me the most. That's why our conversations are very interesting and not awkward. "So...if you wouldn't mind sharing where have you been for the past 2 years?! You know how worried everyone was?" Eugene said. "It's a long story" I said. "Well I've got time and so do you" Eugene said. "Alright, fine. I was at this place" I said. "What kind of place? Where is it?". "It's a place beyond mortal reach. My home planet called Azarath" I explained. Eugene looked surprised. "So you're technically an extra terrestrial or something?" Eugene said. I gave him a confused look. "If that means an alien then yes I'm an....extra terrestrial. Sorry don't what much nerd movies" I said. "Eugene looked a little hurt but then fixed his glasses. "So what were you doing in Azarath? Why did you leave Delsin?". "My father demanded me to. He saidthat he'd kill Zack if I didn't do as he said. I didn't want to tell Delsin because he would try and fight my father and he'd lose" I explained. "What are you talking about? Delsin is a conduit. A conduit who has more than one power! I'm pretty sure he can take your alien dad" Eugene smirked. "No he's not normal. He's not like the average dad. I'm half demon so that makes him...". "A full demon!" Eugene said in shock. "My father is the all powerful Trigon and if Delsin tried to get involved inthis situation, my father will kill him and Sabrina and Zack. I had to leave" I said. "So how did you end up here. In Seattle?". "I only stayed on Azarath for 2 weeks then I saw Zack. He was in a cage, being used as a battery for my father's mansion" I said as I looked at my sleeping son. "We escaped and moved here, I got a job at the restaurant Olafs. Zack has been going to school and has friends and a happy life here. We've been staying here for 2 years. So that's where I've been" I explained. "Well.... that seemed like a pretty hardcore adventure!" Eugene said sarcastically. I smirked. "But isn't kinda weird how you came to Delsin's second home town and he's at your second home town" Eugene said. I just half smiled and looked at my cup. Eugene was about to leave and go to his computer screen. "Eugene?" I called. "Hmmm?". "How is he?" I asked. "Delsin I mean. How is he?". "Well he's been moping for the 2 years but he finally has a date" Eugene said. The feeling was indescribable. Delsin has a date. He moved on. I mean I tried to move on but you saw how that turned out. I still miss him and love him. "Oh I see..... w-who is..she?" I said trying not to cry. "It's this girl named Gwen. She's really pretty! She's a conduit as well. Their like the perfect match!" Eugene said. I looked down at my shoes and feel tears flowing. "Oh..um but not a good enough match like you and Delsin" Eugene said. I smiled but I was still crying. "No..no it's okay.. I'm h-happy for h-him..." I said. Eugene walked over and gave me a hug. I cried in his shoulder and left a wet spot of tears on his shoulder. "Look, maybe  Delsin feels the same way about this date as you but he'll just go on the date if you don't show your face" Eugene said. I thought about it for a while. 'After all this time, if I show my face now, will he still love me? Will he forgive me? Or will he just forget about me and start loving.....Gwen' I thought. I looked at Eugene, who had a curious look on his face. "I can't go back, it's too late. I'm just gonna have to move on" I said wiping away my tears. "Well good for you! Delsin would've wanted you to. Goodnight Raven" Eugene said as he walked closer to his computer screen. "Goodnight Eugene" I said as I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me.
