chapter ten

Gwen p.o.v.

I didn't think this would be happening. This was one of my greatest dreams. I didn't think I'd ever go into battle beside Delsin Rowe, the second son, Infaman! This is too good to be true. With Delsin and Fetch were neon sprinting and I ice skating with my ice powers we would capture those guys in no time. Cyborg was in his car. He was gonna intercept them on the highway so they had no where to go. Starfire, Nightwing and Eugene were in the skys they can get a good drop attack. We finally reached the highway but suddenly, we took a glance at the car. It wasn't just one car. It was like 20 of them. It was a gang! Some were on bikes and some were in cars. Cyborg was on the other side of the highway. He rammed into 3 cars at once. Starfire dropped Nightwing and flew down to confront the burglars. Nightwing landed on the hood of the car and broke the glass windows. The criminals came and fought them. Eugene came down and used his laser beam on the criminals. Delsin, Fetch and I engaged and kicked some ass! I used to do gymnastics so I'm kinda like an acrobatic conduit. Rare, I know! I did a backflip and kicked a guy in his stomach and froze him. Delsin used his smoke powers and blew up one of the criminal's vehicle to start a distraction and turned invisible and subdued the criminals. Wow, he's amazing!
Fetch had circled around the criminals and tied up the burglars. Nightwing and I were fly kicking everyone in the area Starfire was shooting people with her star bolts. Cyborg was just punching people and shooting people with his sonic cannon. This was fun!

Zack p.o.v

It was a pretty long run but they've reached their destination. It was.... a highway? I ran all this way for a freaking highway?! Are you kidding me?! I was about to turn around when all of a sudden, I heard a crash. They were fighting. Oh this is gonna be good. Suddenly I felt a gun being pointed to my head. "Turn around slowly kid. I don't wanna hurt you. We're gonna use you for a little trade" the robber said. Suddenly, the robber grunted with pain and fell to the ground. I turned around to see Sabrina, Nick and Michelle. "This is why dad said to stay in the house" Sabrina said. "Oh relax! It's not like it would hurt me if he shot me. Fast healing remember?" I said. "You're an idiot, remember?" Michelle said. "Hey! You! Stay right there!" A group of burglars came. "Give us all your money!" One of the criminals said. "We're kids you dumbass! It's not like we have money!" Nick said. "But we aren't any ordinary kids..." Sabrina said as she used her magic to punch the criminals. Then the rest of us attacked. We were all fighting strong. I was punching them and using my electric power to shock the people. Sabrina was punching and slapping the bad guys using her magic. Michelle was using her star bolts to shoot the bad guys. Nick had hus staff and was kicking the crap out of those guys. Untill one guy got back up and shot Nick in his arm. "Arrrrrghhhh!!!!!!" Nick screamed in pain. I shot the criminal in his head with my neon power. Nick had passed out from the impact of the bullet. "He's not waking up! Nick!" Michelle called. Sabrina went to get the others. "Here let me help him....". "DON'T TOUCH HIM! THIS IS YOUR FAULT ZACK!!!" Michelle screamed in my face. "I'm sorry, Michelle. I didn't mean for this to happen" Zack said. "OF COURSE NOT ZACK! YOU NEVER MEAN FOR ANYTHING TO HAPPEN!!" She yelled at me once more. Dad and everyone else came the scene. Dad turned to me and he looked mad. "What did I tell you about leaving the Tower?! Because of your actions, Nick got shot?! What were you thinking?!" Delsin said. "I just wanted to help you guys" I said. "Look I understand you want to help out but if I tell you to stay somewhere, you stay, got it?" Delsin asked. I nodded my head. Starfire and Nightwing were sitting by thier son waiting for dad to heal him. Cyborg was trying to keep Nick alive by shocking him and keeping his heart beating. Dad finished talking to me and healed his arm. But Nick was still passed out. "Alright guys, let's go back to the Tower" Eugene said.

Nick was in his bed, still knocked out. Michelle was sitting beside him. I walked in to see if Nick was alright. "Is he doing okay?" I asked. "He's alright just sleeping" Michelle said. "Michelle, I'm sorry for getting Nick shot. I didn't want this to happen. Nick's my best friend, if I would've listened to my dad and stayed inside, none of this would've happened" I apologized. "Its okay Zack. And I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier, it wasn't your fault that Nick got shot. You just wanted some action, I get it. Minus the part where Nick got shot, I had fun kicking ass!" Michelle said. I chuckled and suddenly, Nick woke up. "Zack...." Nick said. "Yeah buddy! What is it?" I asked curiously and nervously. "If you ever, run off and get me shot again, my spirit will haunt you for the rest of your life!" Nick said grabbing my collar. "Okay got it!" Sabrina was standing in the doorway, laughing. "You guys made up" she asked. "Yep, everything is a ok" Michelle said slugging me in my arm. "And Nick?" Sabrina asked. "I'm doing fine, thanks for asking" Nick said waving his hand. "That's good! So who do you think was in charge of that bank heist?" Nick asked. "Well wouldn't the Leader be in the robbery? I mean they seemed like ordinary burglars" Sabrina said. "But if it was just a regular robbery, I wouldn't think there would be so many Burglars, there was like 20 of those guys" I said. "Well my dad thought it was suspicious too. So he's down by the police station to question a few of the burglars" Michelle said. "Well at least their all in prison now" I said.
