"Uhhh! How long have we been in here" Garfield asked with his signature 'Im bored' voice. "A day and a half" Cyborg said. "Lets recap, shall we? Tell us, how'd you guys get caught again?" I asked curiously. "We were about to tap into this stinking room but Teen Angel here wasn't on the lookout for any soldiers or Augustine. So we all got busted" Fetch explained. "So what were you doing Eugene? Playing Heavens Hellfire on your PSP?" Terra teased him. "No it's just that no one told me that I was on lookout duty" Eugene said. I scoffed. "Don't worry guys! I'm sure Delsin and Star will get here and break us out!" Fetch said. "But who else is with them it can't be just the two of them" Terra asked. "No it's not just them, they've got Sabrina and Michelle" Eugene said. My eyes widened as did everyone else. "Sabrina and Michelle?! Where were they?!" I asked concerned. "They said they were with some dude named Trigon or whatever that means" Fetch said. "Sabrina...." Zack smiled. "You're okay". "How's Michelle? And Kori! Are they alright?" I asked concerned about my family. "There both fine.....the last time we checked they were fine at least" Cyborg said. I banged my head on the bar. Then my attention was turned to the three boys laying in their cage. "Hey, you guys alright" I asked checking in on them. "Nah my head is killing me" Leo said holding his head. Then Zack hit is arm slightly "Stop complaining! You should be grateful you even made it out of that alive" Zack said leaning against the cage. Leo just groaned and layed down on the cage floor. 'huh, like father like son' I thought as I stared at Garfield who was also laying down. Then I look back to see how Nick was doing. He was just sitting in the cage. "Nick, you alright buddy?" I asked. "Oh I'm fine. Just waiting...." Nick said. "Waiting for what?". "Waiting for Michelle and mom to come rescue us" Nick said with hope. I smiled. "Yeah...me too" I said.

Starfire p.o.v

As me and Delsin were walking down the hall, I started thinking about Dick. Then I thought about my son, Nick. I then turned my attention to Delsin and thought about my nephews. Delsin turned around to see me deep in thought. "Hey Kori is something wrong?" Delsin asked me looking concerned. I looked at my feet, and tears started forming in my eyes. "I never apologized to you, haven't I?" I said. Delsin looked at me with a confused look. "Apologize? To me? For what? What did you do?". "For getting your son captured. If I couldn't save everyone, I should've at least tried to save the children. Nick, Zack Leo! This is all.....". "Don't you dare say that word! Kori this isn't your fault. You don't need to apologize" Delsin said. "You keep doubting yourself and thinking you're weak and you're not! You are a spiritual, honest, beautiful, smart, brave, strong, thoughtful person. And don't you ever go doubting yourself again!" Delsin said. I started crying. 'Is that...what he really thinks of me....' I thought. I wiped away my tears and smiled with confidence. "Thank you Delsin. That was exactly what I needed to hear" I said hugging him. He hugged back. I looked up and smiled. Delsin looked down at me with that 'Rowe' charm of his and I couldn't help but blush. Suddenly, we heard a noise. More like a scream. "Arrrrrrgh!!!!" he said. "What was that?" I asked. "I don't know, but we're about to find out. Come on Star!" Delsin said as he ran towards the the horrified noise. I flew behind him. As we turn the corner, I see one cell and one machine with a body hooked up to it. "Delsin what is this room?" I asked. "I don't know Star. I think this is the power room?" Delsin said walking in. "Power room? Isn't this where we heard the scream?". "Yea but we have to check and see if there is any information we could use so to help us find Cecilia's friends" Delsin said. I flew in and checked the behind locked doors while Delsin was checking out the dark mysterious cell. "Nope! No one's here. We should keep moving" I said trying to get out of there as fast as possible before we get caught.
"Wait! Hold on just a sec!" Delsin said as he examined the cell one more time. "Did you hear that?". "Hear what?" I asked. "Come closer" he said. I flew over and put my ear against the bar. "What is that?" I asked. "Sounds like whispering. Listen closely on what it's trying to say" Delsin said. I did so and tried to hear. "Help...m-me...help me" It said. "It's saying 'help me'" I said. Then all of a sudden it pressed against the bars and frightened me. I was about to shoot when Delsin stopped me. "Wait! Star take a closer look at him" Delsin said. I squinted my eyes to get a closer look. But when I got past all the bruises and blood and black eyes I saw none other than Henry Daugherty. "Henry is that you?" I asked. "No" he answered. "Its....Hank" he said. Delsin grabbed the bars and pulled on it and ripped it off. I helped Hank up and held him up. Thanks... I thought I was gonna die in that cell man" Hank said. He tried to stand on his own but he nearly fell on his face. "Yeah don't mention it" Delsin said rolling his eyes, like he regretted it already. "No really, if it wasn't for you. I would've died in there". "Listen the only reason why I let you out was because I needed two things from you and one of them was information!" Delsin said frustrated. Hank looked hurt from Delsin's words. "Information on what?" Hank asked. "On Cecilia's friends. You know Cecilia, the little girl?" I explained. "Oh that kid! Yeah I know her. In fact I'm one of her friends here so I guess you're looking for me" Hank said smiling. "Nice try. We know you're not her friend. You probably never even heard of the kid's name until now" Delsin said smirking. "Honestly I am her friend. She was the one who saved me from getting offed by Augustine". "How did she save you?" I asked curiously. "Well Augustine had enough of me escaping and trying to find me and bring me back. So this time when Augustine found me, she wasn't gonna just put me back in a cell this time. When she found me, it was over. I was in Chicago.....

Flashback

Hank's p.o.v

Years later after the whole showdown with The red head and that kid, me and my daughter have been laying low ever since. I knew the kid didn't kill Augustine. He has too much heart and respect for his brother to go down that road. Besides, I'm the one who got him and his brother mixed up in this whole situation and his brother payed the price. If anything he should be hunting me down but he didn't and I thank him for that. "Hey Dad I want to go to the park!" My 11 year old daughter, May asked (I don't know her name I'm just guessing here). "Now wait a minute, we went to the park yesterday" I sighed. "Yeah I know. I want to go again! Come on!" May grabbed my hand and pulled me to the door. We lived in a apartment. It wasn't too fancy but not too poor either. I had a job at Delivery store. The pay is decent and everything is fine. But I had to change my name in order to get the job because if I used my real name, my personal record will show up. I went under the name of Eric Morgan. And my daughter is Emma Morgan. My life was getting back on track. "Whoa! Can I at least grab my coat!" I chuckled. "No we got to go now! Or all of the swings will be taken!" May said tugging harder. "Whoa be careful with the pulling. You're pulling so hard that your veins are popping out. You don't want it to burst now, do you?" I asked sarcastically. "But we got to go now!" May kept pulling until I finally decided to pull too and she flew in my arms as my sudden strength pulled her in my arms. I looked at her and almost laughed at the sight of her overwhelmed face. But I stiffined up and looked at her with a serious look. "May, I will take you to the park but you have to slow down and stop rushing me or we won't go at all! Do you hear me?" I said. She nodded. I knelt down and released her from my arms as she ran into the living room and plopped herself on the couch and started watching some TV. I ran upstairs and went to grab my coat. I walked in my room and went it my closet. As I pulled it off the hanger, I felt like I was being watched. I turned around to see her. Long black boots that covered her knees. Navy Blue drench coat. Red hair tied up into a bun to keep it out of her face. She had a earpiece in her left ear that glowed blue. It had been a few years since I've seen her. Worst case scenario is that I would've ran into her at the supermarket. But not here. Not in his home. not when his little girl is downstairs right now, waiting for him to return. "Hey there, Henry" She said. "What do you want from me Augustine? Look I'm not causing any trouble! You know that!" I said trying to distance myself from her by moving back a step. "So acting good, Being nice? It doesn't change what you are, Henry. You are a conduit. You are a threat to everybody in this very building. You need to be looked after so that you wouldn't try something dangerous" Augustine said. As she stepped closer, I was about to run downstairs, grab May and jump off the balcony. "I wouldn't if I were you" she said. My eyes darted back to her. She had sinister smile on her face. "My men are all around this building. Some of them are watching your daughter right now. Waiting for my say so. If I utter one word your daughter would be dead within seconds!" Augustine said. My eyes widen 'would she actually kill a kid just to get to me?! This bitch is heartless!' I thought. "Come on Henry. Just give up and I promise you that your daughter will not be harmed" Augustine said. I knew that she was bluffing. I remembered how she said the exact same thing to the kid back at salmon bay when he was freshly made into a smoke conduit. But she didn't listen. I also remember how I used the kid to get away freely when she asked me to set him up. The kid's brother ended up getting killed in order of getting my ass out of there. That day has haunted me since. But I had to do it because of my daughter. "So what's it gonna be Henry?". I knew what my options where and I choose the stupid one. I shot a cinder missile at her chest and she flew through the wall. I smoke dashed downstairs to see May in total confusion. "Daddy! You're not supposed to be using your powers!" May said disappointed in me. I grabbed her and held her in my arms tightly and ran out to the balcony and jumped. My daughter was screaming her head off but I had her. As I landed, I ran through the streets of Chicago. I wasn't going to lose it all again. Not again!
