Chapter 21: Don't Mess With Me

I walked into my first period class with Naomi, taking a few pills before sitting down. Whatever the hell Joel was selling made me feel better. I layed my head down and there was this kid behind me, being extremely rude and annoying. I turned around, "Will you shut the hell up??" I asked him. His eyes furrowed and he gave me an angry look. "Whatcha gonna do blondie? Hmm? You ain't nothing, peice of shit" He said, loud enough for me to hear. I clenched my fists and turned back and layed my head down. "That's what I thought" He said again. I clenched my jaw so I wouldn't say anything.

I didn't pay attention to a damn thing that period, probably wasn't gonna pay attention to the other classes either. Class was over and I got up and walked out of the class room. Naomi was talking to the teacher so she wasn't following me yet. The kid followed me to my locker and pushed me into it. I turned around and gave him a furious glare. "Don't FUCKING touch me" I say, punching him in the nose knocking him out and making his nose bleed.

Everyone surrounded him and I walked to the bathroom, washing my bloody hand. Naomi came in there, looking for me. "Jade, what happened?" She asked. I didn't reply. I took some pills and left the washroom. She followed me, "Jade, what did you just take?" She asked calmly. I didn't say anything back. I walked to my next class and she followed me. I layed my head down again and zoned out.

School was finally over, I walked out in the front and I waited for Tommy, Brendan, and Naomi. I sat down on the curb and held my knees to my chest. Tommy, Brendan, and Naomi walked up behind me. "Let's go, Jade" Tommy spoke. I got up and started walking with them. I was so out of it, maybe it was me, maybe it was the drugs.
