Chapter 21 (Jess and Niall)

Jess pov

The days would go by slowly, i was always bored...drawing somthings....but everytime i would draw it would remind me of the drawing i made of harry. It was 6 days after i had told harry i was confused. 6 whole, gloomy, depressing days. Today i decided i needed to shape myself again.

i sighed, grabbing my ipod and phone. I got my car keys and left the flat. I need somthing to get my mind off of this....i can't be doing this for a whole month. i drove to Aria's daycare. I opened the door and the lady at the front desk smiled, she looked about what 25, maybe 26?

"hi i'm jess i'm here to pick up Aria?" I asked. She nodded. "Do you know what room she is usually in?" The girl asked. "Um, yeah the buterfly room." i said. she smiled and nodded. "I'll send her down." She made a phone call, probably to the supervisor in that room. my eyes wandered around the room, when i saw a sighn, 'Help Wanted'.

"You have a job open?" I asked, the girl nodded. "Yeah, we do it's for a supervisor/ activiy director for the bumble bee room. the job would be like making plans for the kids and kind of being like a teacher. Right now we only have one person to run the room, but we need two. So for now the kids in the bumble bee room are with the catipillar kids." She explained. i nodded.

"Do you think i could get an application?" i asked. She laughed, "No way just tell me, are you CPR certified?" she asked. i nodded, "I have my card for it." i said. she nodded, "You obviously have experiance with kids if you are picking one up, Uhh you in Uni?" she asked. i nodded. "What's you major hun?" she asked.

"I have a double major in art and teaching." i said. she smiled. "You're perfect, you're hired!" She squelled. I laughed. "Thanks, when do i start?" i asked. "Tuesday, 7:30 am." she said. i nodded.

Aria came skipping over to me. "Hi jess!" She exclaimed. "Hey aria! did you have fun?" i asked. she nodded. "Yup, i did." she said. i smiled, "That's good." I said. "Here, give me your phone number, and i'll give you mine and the offices, just in case, becasue when Laura is at the front desk she never does anything." she wrote it down on paper as i did the same. WE exchanged. "Thanks." i said. she nodded.

"I'm Hailey by the way." she said. i nodded, "Nice to meet you." i said. Aria and i left.

I'm glad i'm going to be working there, i can teach kids to do art projects and cool stuff, plus this would look good on my resume to be a teacher at an elementary of middle school.

"Guess what Ari?" i asked, using one of her nick names. "What?!?" she asked. "I'm going to work at your day care!"i exclaimed she smiled. "Yey." she said. i laughed, she's too cute.

we arrived home, and my sisters car was here. i thought she wouldn't be home till later. i went up to the fourth floor of our building, and opened the door to our flat. i unlocked it and pushed it open, aria ran in. i walked in, closing the door behind me to find Leah talking to Harry on the couch.

"Uhhh." ughh i'm an idiot, of all things to say you say 'uhhhh??' "Hey Baby girl, um harry came to see you, and i have to take The little one to a doctors apointment, so i'm going to shower." Leah said. she walked passed me and whispered, "Talk to him." i sighed. and looked over at harry.

"What are you doing here?" i asked. I mean....i feel like i made it clear that i didn't want to talk to him. i guess not....i was supposed to talk to him tomorrow, but he just had to ruin things.

"I didn't know if you would come to day goodbye tomorrow and i wanted to make sure that i said it." He said, rubbbing the back of his neck with his hand. "Oh..well i was going to come tomorrow." i said. he nodded.

"Jess?" He asked. "Yeah?" i whispered. he walked over to me. "Where are we? where do we stand?" he asked. he cupped my face with his large hand and his thumb was rubbing my cheak softly. "I-i don't know." i choked.
