Chapter 14

  " Zaccheaus what are we going to do?" Asked Luciana wanting to know what would happen with the house and everything. Estrella grabbed on to Alonso's shirt sleeve she was nervous like her mother she was also curious. Alonso was ready to work around the manor and help fix it with Zaccheaus. He looked to see what Zaccheaus would say.
     Zaccheaus thought about fixing the manor manually and not using the money. He figured out that he would not have time with Luciana and the rest of the family. He rather use what is in the bank vault of Luciana's father. Then he concluded that he be working to hard and it would mean spending less time with the family.
    Zaccheaus spoke " Podemos Usar la dinero ( we can use the money)" then we would have the house back in about a period of two months." He looked at his family waiting to see if they agreed, they smiled and they all nodded their heads in agreement. He smiled then he said " I have a place where we can stay for a while."

  Later........

     As Zaccheaus finished looking and setting up the projects of fixing the manor. Luciana calculated that they still had money after the renovation of the home. The all got in a carriage after they have given the plan to the builder director and they all had left the town. Luciana was talking with Estrella and Alonso talked with Zaccheaus on the way to the destination they were heading.
      " Bibi where we are heading?" Asked Estrella with curiosity. She looked at her mother, her mother smiled and she looked at Zaccheaus. She waited for an answer from her mother.
    Then she said " Perdón mi vida pero Eso es un secreto ( sorry My life but that is a secret)" Luciana kept smiling at Estrella and stared at her, then she put her head on Zaccheaus's left shoulder. She smiled at him. He smiled back at her after she smiled at him.
    " Señor, Cacique Zaccheaus ( Sir, Chief Zaccheaus) are we going to head to a place your familiar with?" Asked Alonso, he was also curious to know where they were going. He wanted to know if Zaccheaus planned a destination he visited once before.
   Zaccheaus stayed silent he then said " Yarari Guaroco ( A fine place to know)" then he smiled at Luciana. They stayed quiet for the rest of the trip. It took about an hour to get there.
     They all got out of the carriage to see a Yucayeque. Estrella saw what it was and she literally squealed with delight, she had never visited a Yucayeque before. She started to jump with excitement from seeing the village. She grabbed Alonso's hand then they walked with Luciana and Zaccheaus. Alonso was smiling and looking around the Yucayeque with Estrella.
      As they entered the yucayeque, the tribesman all saw the markings Zaccheaus had and they saluted him. The Guazabara headed around the family and brought them to the Cacique there. It was and old man named Caduayo meaning the Gecko. 
      Zaccheaus saluted Caduayo " Taiguey Cacique Caduayo" the old man smiled he shook hands with Zaccheaus, he saluted back.
    They were given a Bohio to stay for the next two months. Estrella was really excited to have an experience to live how her father use to live. Alonso was happy he gets to see Estrella enjoying her time there.
    It was getting dark, everyone at the Yucayeque started to head to sleep. Alonso and Estrella shared a hammock, they already were asleep. Luciana stayed and waited for Zaccheaus in the hammock. He was talking to the cacique. As well two Caciques should talk about information about what is currently o with the tribe as a whole. They were currently sitting  in front of the Caduayo's Bohio.
     " The fighting have diminished, our great numbers have fallen." Spoked Caduayo he looked sad. He then continued with his firm voice " At least the fighting has stopped. Your the only Cacique who can live a peaceful life like you do now."
       Zaccheaus thanked him for all the things he have said. He then saluted Caduayo then left and headed back to the Bohio. He entered and joined Luciana and fell asleep.

   Flashback.........

    "Baba!" Yelled Estrella running towards her father. She was only about year and a half years old. She grabbed his left leg then Zaccheaus picked her up. He looked happy to see his daughter smiling and having fun with him. He heard knocking at the door after he picked up Estrella. He walked to open the door, it was man in a tuxedo he was holding his hat on his chest. He introduced himself.
     " Hola Señor, ( hello sir) I am here to see if you would want to buy any trinkets of the Tainos?" Asked the man hoping to see if Zaccheaus would buy any. Zaccheaus refused the offer and gave the man his goodbyes and shut the door.
    He put Estrella back down on the ground, she started to run to find her mother. Zaccheaus grabbed Macho's Cuatro which is his now. He put his hat on and went to the usual destination to practice.....
