Two Groups

Chapter 30

     Zacch was in class he sat next to Carlos who say in the back and he was just thinking about Lucia. How she actually did that with him. He then remembered that it was actually Zaccheaus who took over while that was happening.  " Zacch Porque no Esta poniendo atención ( why are you not paying attention)" spoked the teacher. Who looked over from the book she was reading. She looked really annoyed with Zacch not paying attention. She stood up and waited till he replied.
    Zacch looked at the teacher and told the teacher he was thinking about some current events. The teacher told him to step out of the classroom to finish thinking of Lucia. He saw Carlos who was giving him the chiki-chiki-Mangá. It is a communication where someone rubs their forearm thus making fun at someone who got in trouble. Zacch shook his head when Carlos did that.
   Zacch stepped out of his class and he saw Lucia waking down the hallway. She was by herself with a pass in her hand, which was white. Which meant she was leaving the school early. Zacch called her and she looked up at him. She smiled and walked to him. Zacch looked at her, he loved her smile. She said " Hey Zacch ¿como estas? ( how are you)?" Zacch looked in her eyes he could not stop smiling.
    " ¿Que paso? Why are leaving school early?" Asked Zacch who was worried of Lucia. He walked to her and grabbed her hand.
   " Es que no siento bien ( it's just I don't feel right)" replied Lucia. Zacch then embraced her and told her if she wanted him to go with her home. So that he could escort her home. But she told him that she is fine she was going to be picked up. He then told her to feel better and she kissed him. She then continued walking out of the school. Zacch then went back inside the classroom. He had a long day a head of hiM. Lucia was going home today earlier than usual, so he would be bored. He felt he was alone but he had Carlos to talk to.
    As the day passed he just kept thinking if Lucia is fine she kept popping in his mind. It was like a beloved curse he had. It was probably from Zaccheaus being in his mind. Sometimes Lucia would start yelling his name for help. He would get up thinking it's true. He thought about visiting her. He then decided to meet her at her house. He got out of school and bought some flowers and a get well card. He walked to her house. He then saw a man who was wearing a white wife beater shirt. He had a buzzcut, his hair is black. He was an inch shorter than Zacch, he was just sitting and looking outside. He saw that the man looked at Zacch as he walked close to the house and asked him " Quien eres tu señor ( who are you sir?)"
      Zacch told him he wanted to see Lucia, the man who was her father. Let him in so he could see her.  Her father told him " No boys in her room, only girls so you'll have to wait for her." Zacch waited for what seemed like a while. He saw Lucia's father left then headed to the hallway then he saw Lucia behind him and he walked to her and handed her the flowers with the get well card. She grabbed them, she had a smile on her face. He was happy to see her smiling.
      That's when, she went to her room and she set the flowers. Zacch waited back at the living room till he saw that her father opened a letter which said school numbering scale. He read it for a while and then he looked pissed, he walked away heading to her room.
  Zacch then heard yelling, Zacch instinctually ran to Lucia's room to see Lucia's father saying " You were suppose to be number one, not number two!" He then smacked her. He was about to get his belt. Zach then got into the room as well.  He then grabbed the belt from hitting Lucia. Lucia's father then stopped trying to hit her.
    Zacch got really furious at Lucia's father. He got in between them. He then yelled " Do not do that again sir because She is number 2 better than anyone in the school besides the first." Lucia's father then looked at him he looked more mad. He Then proceeded by using age in a serious conversation.
    " Your 17 or 18 so that means your not an adult. As well I am her father." Spoked Lucia's father. He then got close to Zacch saying it really close to Zacch's face. Zacch was mad, he did not want to fight so he decided he would threaten.
   " You are not going to hit her, because then I will hit you." Said Zacch, that's when Lucia father told him who he think he is. That's when Zacch told him " Soy el Novio de Ella ( I am her boyfriend)"  Lucia then told Zacch that violence is not an answer. She grabbed his shoulder so he would not do anything. Zacch looked at her and he smiled at her and he grabbed her hand.
     That's when Lucia's father snapped and started pushing Lucia and Zacch out of the house. He locked it and went to the window and said " Si lo Quieres, tu no eres mi hija ( if you love him, then you are not my daughter.)" Lucia tried knocking on the door. She tried repeatedly, She started crying. She begged her father to let her in, but he wouldn't. She told her father to remember of the good times and forget about her having a boyfriend.
     Her father then told her that she had to pick between her father or her boyfriend. She took a silence, she looked at Zacch. She stayed quiet and looked down. Zacch knew what she meant, Zacch tried to hug her but she would not let him touch her. All she did was weep, Zacch turned around and left the house. As he turned he peered over to see that her father let her in. Lucia picked family, it's better than losing all she had. Thought Zacch as he turned and walked home. He lost his Girlfriend and it was only for a week.
    Zacch went home, he then sat on his bed in thought, he did not knew what to do. He just sat and slept. He awoke to hearing Camelia looking at him. She asked him if Lucia was alright, Zacch nodded and told her what happened. Camelia then told him that it was alright all fathers react like that.
    He just stayed quiet, all he wanted was her. He received a email from Lucia stating " I'm sorry Zacch I am not allowed to see you or love you. I have to listen to my father, o mí familía ( or my family) I hope you can forget me." Zacch then laid back on bed, he then decided it was for the best to give up.
     These past couple of weeks Zacch been trying to forget about Lucia. She was on his mind for every single moment, even though they talk less and they don't have the same mojo from the beginning. Their were times when Zacch would be asked if he still liked her, since Lucia would get suspicious from what Zacch would say. He would tell her no, and she would say " That is good". Zacch as day by day grew more emotionally detached. He was not there, Lucia did not knew he was liked this. Every Time Zacch would talk to Lucia, he would be happy and joy, he would smile and asked her many questions about if they were together what he do, or if he was in a relationship. Zacch would always be told that she did not want to talk about that.
    There were times were Zacch fall into depression. He felt a rush of anger every time he felt or stood the chance. To notice that he would never be with his loved. She did not love him, he thought, she would of told him. He asked her if she liked him but she would stay quiet. Even if his freinds asked, She would say no in talking to them.
    Zacch did not knew what he was going to do. He was feeling bad, he really wanted her. Zacch then stood in his room. He called Zaccheaus, he asked " Zaccheaus Cacique, necesito ayuda ( i need help)"  
     Zaccheaus knew what happened, he replied " Luciana is not liking you anymore?" Zacch told him what happened, and he knew about her father. Zaccheaus then told him that he take over for a minute.
