Two Groups

Chapter 22

A week has passed since everything  and the whereabouts of Estrella and Alonso was not known. They where gone for a party but not have been back for days. As days began turning to weeks Miguel began to think it was a set up, they must be in trouble. Manuel began to worry since their parents have not been out of the house for more than three days .  During the time Victoria started to stay with Miguel living with him while Estrella and Alonso where gone. She wanted to use her time wisely and stay with Miguel. She wanted to apologize and make Manuel stop being foolish and be her Freind again. They still always have arguments or problems. He always manages to avoid her, in the morning,afternoon or evening. He would not be found by her but by Miguel when he started looking for him. They always had silent dinner evenings often no one talked for the problem each one had with each other. As days passed they were more suspicious that they should have start and check now. Manuel said " We have to check on mamá and Papá."
    Miguel nodded and got up picked his sword then strapped it and went to his work. He decided to send some scouts searching for them. As he closed the door, leaving Victoria and Manuel alone in the manor. She looked at him and smiled shyly to see if he would respond with her after everything that happened years before. Wanting to see if he would smile back at her. He looked at her then he got up then put his plate in the kitchen. He went to his room, and left Victoria alone at the dinning room table. She then started crying, did he hated her that much? She stayed there for seem liked years than Manuel came back with his cuatro. He saw her crying and he looked at her, she looked at him with tears in her eyes.
     Manuel gave her a weak smile he sat next to her he started to tune his cuatro m. He mastered his cuatro in the years that passed. He suffered and everything he did he started to play his Instrument , she stopped crying and she looked at him. He played his cuatro and he started to play a sad song. He spend his entire time trying to learn how to play so he could one day make someone cry with it. He put his soul into everyone song he played or ever tried to learn. He just played, Victoria then started to think of what Manuel use to be in the past. Happy, always filled with joy. He always wanted to talk to her and always showed her stuff. He would always talked to her while she listened to him carefully, he always thanked her for being a good listener. She in the past would always enjoy hanging out with Manuel.
       She stayed looking at him, she knew he was suffering because he knew that she did not like him. She did not say anything, she felt like what ever she have said he did not listened to her. What ever she told him to say about finding someone else or forgetting about her. He would stay quiet and nod. She kept seeing that he really did felt dead inside to the point to being unresponsive at times. She then came to him and hugged him, she told " Lo siento ( im sorry) Manuel for everything I have done please be happy forget about it. I feel like I am hurting you." She looked at him. She then let him go, he was tearing up he closed his eyes. He let her go and got up, he did not faced her. He felt embarrassed to to be doing this in front of her. He then went to his room, put his cuatro away.  He saw that she followed him, he could not stop he felt his heart hurting. He told her to leave him alone, she told him that she would not leave till he is happy.
    He told her it was impossible for him to be happy, he just laid on his bed and closed his eyes. He wanted to forget what is happening right in front of him. His heart started to beat fast, he felt like he was losing consciousness. He fell unconscious.

   Later.........

   Manuel woken up to see, Miguel watching over him. Checking if he was alright, he saw him and stayed quiet and did not talked for what had happened. He was slapped hard by Manuel in the face. Miguel saw that he got up and looked changed he was not the sad kid again. He looked normal and he did not do anything but questioned if he found their parents. Miguel shook his head and told him that he sent a couple scouts to find them. He told him to go to sleep, he then saw that Victoria was looking at him. Like she felt guilty, he looked and felt nothing for her. Or nothing in meaning he just left her there. He went to sleep.
     In the morning he saw that Miguel was not here or Victoria probably they have left he thought. It was quiet it's probably before sunrise. He check if he was alone, he went to Miguel's room to see if they were there. He opened the door to see Victoria changing into her cloths, he saw. She caught him and she covered herself and she told him to leave. He did and he left, Manuel went to the living room. He waited for Victoria, she came and saw him. He stayed quiet, he knew what she done last night with Manuel he did not cared. He started to scratch his head.
       He saw her and waved his hand, so she would not cause a show again she smiled but he nodded. He got up and headed for work he was going to start in three hours but he wanted to leave. Till he felt someone wrapped her hands around him. She told him that he should just be calm and drop everything to be happy for what he had. She then told him she will help him find a girl for him. So he could be happy how she was like her and Miguel. He stayed quiet and mumbled something about her. She heard him she told him m " No I am supposed to be for Miguel." She let him go. He did not want to hear what she was saying. It is already too early in the morning.
     He looked at her and he told her he was just playing, she knew he was not laughing. He left, leaving her by herself. The he went to work thinking about something else music. He was stopped by Victoria, she told him " Por uno dia ( just for one day)" he looked at her, he went inside with her.

The next couple days..............

Miguel came home he have found his parents they were just staying for an extra week. The place they were staying kept them stress free. He came home to see everything kept normal. He yelled "Victoria!" He shut the door and took his sword out of his waist and he held it with his palm. Then headed towards the stairs

Victoria woken up to hear Miguel calling her name. She left Manuel's bed and ran to Miguel's room. She then started to put her cloths on, she saw Miguel walking in. She smiled at him, He smiled at her and told her how was her couple days. She told him that everything went well. That Manuel started to enjoy and went back into being friends.
Manuel woken up and he moved his hand to grab Victoria but she was not there and he fell from the bed. He got up and heard Miguel, he went to them to see that Miguel turned and smiled at his brother. Then he went to Victoria to talk with her. Manuel started looking at Victoria. Miguel does not know what had happened with Victoria and him for a couple days. Miguel told him that their parents would be coming in a week or so. They all decided to leave for the markets to enjoy how it was in the past. They all left for Caparra.
