Chapter 14-Cheerleaders are the queens of PDA
My head was reeling. Who hadn’t I kissed? Who had I? When I say I’m never drinking again, I mean it. It’s not like I’m addicted to it, the thought of it makes me feel physically sick. The burning sensation in your throat…yuck!
I’d re-run the night in my mind but it only resorts back to the perfect kiss. I’m lying on my bed, yet again re-running the night but nothing…the mystery guy, still remaining just that…a mystery.
The ceiling seemed as boring as usual, I wouldn’t say I was thinking more like day-dreaming. The night was so perfect but I was kissing a stranger. Jeez, I feel corny.
“What’s up Lauren?” Jas flopped next to me, pushing me a little.
“You know the party?” I looked at her curiously.
“Yeah, of course, wow, that was epic” Jas laughed, ‘oh hilarious’.
“Well, I-” I sighed.
“Got kissed, I know I saw you…you go girl” She winked, her body rocking with laughter.
“You saw me?” I squealed, yay that would mean she would know who kissed me. Bingo!
“Who didn’t; PDA!” I chuckled a little. She’s one to talk about PDA. Cheerleaders are the queens of PDA.
“So, who was I kissing?” I stared at Jas for her reaction.
“Wait, what…you don’t know who you kissed?” Her mouth tugged into a smile.
“No! I was drunk…do you know who I kissed?” My heart was thumping. This wasn’t good!
“Oh my god! This is some Jerry Springer shiz” She laughed, even I let out a chuckle.
“Ugh, my life sucks” I screamed, pushing Jas of the bed only to hear a thump on the floor.
“Let’s weigh up the evidence?” Jas propped herself up.
“We aren’t a detective series” I rolled my eyes.
“Come on, T.V would be so much more entertaining with us” Jas winked in my direction.
“It would give me an excuse to kill you” I teased.
“But if I killed you, I could make it look like an accident” She challenged me, raising her eyebrow.
“You watch way too much T.V” I moaned.
“Don’t hate me, ’cause you ain’t me” She laughed uncontrollably, someone call a mental asylum?
“Right, I know it’s definitely not Ashley” The one person I hoped it was the most.
“Ooh, unlucky! His lips are like candyfloss” I could sense Jas was beginning to day-dream.
“Since when do you kiss candyfloss?” I stared at her, trying to keep the smile from appearing.
“Ugh, whatever…so who do you think it is, I mean a lot of people were at that party” Jas cocked her head to the side.
“Well Steven and Brad were both acting strange, so I don’t know which one it is!” I sighed deeply, why couldn’t life be simple?
“How do you know, it’s even one of them?” Jas muttered under her breath.
“I-uh, I-uh, I don’t! Oh my god, I just took the signs” My eyes grew wide in worry.
“Well if we all listened to your ‘signs’, you’d be telling me you’ve met your prince charming” Jas laughed. If only she knew.
After Jas waffled on for what seemed like forever, we decided to venture out to the ‘outside world’. Scary, I know.
