Chapter 29

Ross is two and the twins are three now

"Alli wake up, you are coming with Nash and I to organise the wedding." I opened my eyes to see Nash and Viky standing at the end of my bed. "Do I have to go?" They nodded. "Fine, get out so I can get ready." Viky clapped her hands and smiled before pulling Nash out of the room. I got up and walked into the bathroom to have a shower. Once I was done, I put the towel around my body and ran back into the bedroom. I went into my pants drawer and pulled out a white maxi skirt then got a plain black tank out.

I put them on sat down in front of my mirror that's on the floor surrounded by multiple small drawers full of makeup and hair stuff. I put my hair up in a cute bun thingy. Once I liked the way my hair looked, I did my makeup quickly, chose my 9 necklace (which represents my fave Teen Wolf character, Liam Dunbar), grabbed my phone and slipped on a pair of black sandals then left my room. "K, lets go. Who's looking after Ross and the twins?"

"Me, and me." I looked towards the couch to see Jack and Jack sitting there. "I smiled and ran over to Jack G and threw my hands around his neck, wrapping my legs around his waist. "I missed you guys. I haven't seen you in a long time." I got down from Jack G and gave Jack J a hug. Once I was done, I told the guys everything and left with Viky and Nash. "Why do I have to come? Isn't this between the Bride and Groom?" Viky turned around with a smile on her face. "Both the Maid of Honour and the Best-Man has to go." I groaned and leant back in my seat.

"Hey Hayes." Viky and Nash greeted Hayes while I stayed behind. "Lets go." We walked around till we found the shop.

Once that was done, we went to Starbucks. "NASH, bro." We turned around and I saw 4 boys coming over. "How are you?" Viky went and hugged the guys as well as Hayes. I went and stood next to Nash. "And who's this?" I looked up to see the boy with the eyebrow piercing smiling at me. "I'm Alli." I put my hand out and he took it. "I'm Jai, this is my older brother Beau." He pointed to the boy in purple shorts and a snapback. "Our friend Daniel." He pointed to the one with a camo singlet on. "And that is my twin Luke." I followed his finger and saw a boy with a lip piercing, and a nose piercing. I smiled and gave a wave. "How do you know Nash?"

"Oh we're some of his friends. What about you?"

"Well, I used to live across the road from him. Then lived with him and the rest of the guys." Jai nodded. "You going to the wedding then, I take it."

"Yeah, I'm the maid of honour, so I don't have a choice." He nodded then checked the time. "We have to go, but I'll see you at the wedding." We said bye then walked off. I caught up to Viky while Nash was talking to Hayes. "He likes you." I looked at Viky. "Luke. He likes you." I rolled my eyes. "Yep well, I don't know him, but if he's anything like his twin, I'm sure we'll get along." Viky smiled and looped her arm in mine. "Let's go and see our kids." I nodded and started skipping away.

"Ross?" I heard a giggle come from the lounge room. "Mummy?" I walked in to see Ross and Jai sitting on Jack G while Jack J and Debbie were laughing. "How 'bout you get off Uncle Jack and come and give me a hug." He got up and ran over to me. "Hi Mummy."

"Hey Kiddo." He looked past me and smiled. "Daddy!" I put him down and he ran over to Hayes. "Have you organised what he's wearing to the wedding yet." I saw Hayes standing next to me. I nodded. "Because I want him the night before." I looked at him. "No, I've got him because he's getting ready with the twins, who are getting ready with the girls." Hayes shook his head. "Put him down and follow me." I said through my teeth. Hayes put Ross down and followed me to my bedroom. "What?"

"You're not having him Hayes and that's final." Hayes shook his head. "He's my kid to." Now it was my turn to shake my head. "What do you mean no?"

"You don't have custody. For all the government knows you're not in his life. So you're lucky I even let you see him."

"YOU wouldn't be able to keep him from me."

"YES I WOULD. EVERYONE HERE WOULD BACK ME UP."

"YOU CAN GO AND TELL THE GOVERNMENT THEN."

"YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO HAYES!" I walked out of the room and into the lounge room. "WELL I HAVE MY RIGHTS." Everyone looked towards us and the kids ran to the couch. "WELL I WAS A SINGLE MUM AND I GET FIRST PRIORITY. NOW I THINK YOU CAN LEAVE." I opened the door. Hayes shook his head. "Please leave." He didn't move. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE." Hayes walked out of the house, bumping me in the shoulder while walking out. The kids went back to playing and the adults just watched them. "Ross you need to go to bed now. Say goodnight." Ross looked up then shrugged and went back to playing with the twins. "Ross lets go." Ross shook his head. "ROSS, lets go." Ross looked up then looked at Nash and Jack J. "I'll take him. Let's go Ross." Jack J stood up holding his hand out. Jack walked down the hallway with Ross and I took his spot on the couch. "We need to take the twins home. Night guys."

"Night." Viky, Nash and the twins left leaving the Jack's. "I'll just wait for Jack then we'll go." I nodded and sniffed. "If you don't mind, but what was that about?" I looked at Jack. "I think he want's to have full custody." Once I said that, I started crying. Jack got up from the other couch and wrapped his arms around me. "If this makes you feel better, I will fight against him for you to have custody."

"Same. I don't know what for but I will to." I smiled and stood up. "Well thank you for today and that." I gave them one last hug before shutting the door behind them. I walked into the kitchen, boiling the jug. I went into the fridge and saw leftover Pizza. I got out two pieces and put them on a plate. Once I had warmed up my pizza and made my tea, I went and sat down on the couch and went on Netflix. I decided to watch Teen Wolf. I was halfway through and episode when I heard someone unlocking the door. The door opened and I couldn't see who it was until they came around the corner. "Shit Alli."

"What do you want Hayes?" He got his keys back out and took a key off and placed it on the table before walking into the kitchen. "I forgot my wallet." I nodded and watched him. "Bye. See you at the wedding." He walked out the door. I got up and picked up the key which was sitting on a note.

Alli,

This is my key to the apartment, which I won't be needing anymore. But I'm just letting you know but after the wedding I will try and get custody.

I felt the tears spilling out and walked into Ross' room. I leant down next to his bed and kissed his forehead. "Don't worry baby."
