I stood nervously outside of the doors to the throne room, wringing my hands together. The train of my dress wrapped itself around my legs as I paced back and forth causing me to lose my balance. I braced myself for the fall, but surprisingly my hands were met with fur.

"Aslan!" I exclaimed as I threw my arms around him, feeling him shake with a deep, rumbling laugh. "Thank you so much for doing this." I smiled as I pulled away.

He nodded solemnly. "Of course, dear one. I am most honored to be the one to give you away."

I grinned and shook my head lightly, brushing my hair back. "I'm nervous."

"Yes. I can tell. What about, may I ask?"

I laughed lightly as the hundreds of voices inside the room a few feet away from me laughed at a joke made by Peter, no doubt. "There are so many people in there."

"That there are." Aslan replied. "Having a bit of stage fright." He more stated than asked.

I nodded. "I'm quite clumsy, as you know, and I can't help but thinking I'm going to tear down the whole room before I even get close to the alter."

He shook with laughter once more. "Dear one, do not worry. Nothing of the sort will occur. You can do this, you just need to believe in yourself as much as i, and all of those people do. You'd think you'd be more nervous about the fact that in a few minutes you will be the new High Queen."

"You'd think." I laughed with him. "Surprisingly I'm not that nervous about becoming queen."

"And why would that be?" He asked, even though the slight smile on his face made me believe he already knew the answer.

"I have Peter and with him by my side there's nothing we can't over come."

He smiled brighter than before and nodded towards the doors as the music started. "Are you ready to get married?"

I glanced at him and then towards Susan and Lucy, who I hadn't noticed had joined us before, as they took their place in front of the doors that were beginning to glide open slowly. "Absolutely."
