AYLIN'S POV :

Have you ever heard that karma is a bitch? Well that's what happened to me. Right from the beginning I wasn't in favour of lying and now I'm completely screwed.

Wondering what I'm talking about? In simple words, our plan back fired. You see from past week I have been pretending to be Nathan Hyde's fake girlfriend.

#Flashback #

" Miss Stone, can I have a word with you? " I stopped in my tracks as I heard Mark yell from behind me. I groaned inwardly, God! Why can't he just leave me alone?

I turned around and gave him a fake smile. " Yes Mr Williams? " I asked trying very hard not to snap at him.

" Can we discuss this in my office? " He asked. I nodded and followed him into his office.

" Miss Stone, I guess you already know about the annual event next week? " I nodded.

" Well about that, I was wondering if you could request Mr Hyde to come as a guest of honour. " he continued hesitantly.

I choked on my own saliva. " I....um...actually... I.." I stuttered.

" Please Aylin. The cards are already printed and we have already mentioned him as the guest of honour. "

" How could you..." but he cut me off in the middle.

" Look Aylin, I know you are dating him. So it should not be a problem.  And I know you really need the promotion don't you? "

I gulped, yes I really need the promotion. It will increase my pay scale and plus it will make my job permanent. " Yes I do." I replied

" So I hope you will convince Mr Hyde to be our guest of honour? " I just nodded not knowing what to reply.

" You can take the rest of the day off. " he stated with a smile. I glanced at my watch it was already 6:00 pm and I wanted to kick his ass.

#Flashback #

" Hailey what are we going to do? " I asked for the nth time as she curled my dark brown hair.

" Calm down. Just stick on to the plan. " She coolly replied. I knew deep down even she was freaking out.

" What if they don't buy what we said? " I asked finally as I slipped on my baby blue gown.

"Look honey, Nathan Hyde is a busy man. And it's not unusual for him to not show up on such events. So calm down. " she replied.

My phone buzzed indicating a new text and I checked the ID. It was the same unknown number. I quickly opened the text and read it.

" Aylin are you alright? " Hailey asked I'm concern.

I nodded. " Ya I'm fine, just a little nervous. " I stated.

" Relax I'm with you. We will get through this together. " She assured me.

' Take a deep breath Aylin. '  I told myself for the nth time. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. God, I am freaking out.

" Calm down Aylin everything is going to be alright . " Hailey whispered as she nudged me out of my thoughts.

" Hope so. " I replied taking a sip of my champagne.
