MADDIE'S POV
"Hurry up. Everyone will be here soon. Maddie go hide." My mom yelled rushed. "Shut up mom. I know." I snapped. I wheeled quickly to the huge storage room. I stopped my wheel chair once I arrived. I locked up the room making sure not to get the key all tangled up with the fake webs for this hallowe'en gathering.
I am so nervous to give my speech. I tried to memories the lines Abby had given me. I took out the lines trying not to forget as people were coming into our new condo here in L.A. I heard the code name being called and I unlocked the door strolling into the big garden area.
Abby just got off the stage saying I had something important to tell everyone. I had help given to me as I was wheeled on stage. I hear many people gasp and whispers. I clear my throat on the microphone. All eyes and cameras are on me. I look at all the peoples nervous faces. Literally everyone is here. I see Abby and my mom already crying.
I look at all my family, friends, famous celebrities, producers, modelling agencies. I couldn't do it. I couldn't throw away my future. I look at the speech written for me. I rip it up. Confused expressions rip upon everyone's faces
"Hey. I'm Maddie Ziegler. As you can tell I've had a terrible accident. I have been dancing since I was three and when I had the accident and the doctors told me I would be able to dance again. I- we were delighted." I seen everyones scared expression soften. But when I looked at my dance mom crew everyone was shocked, angry, surprised, disappointed.
"But it will take me 8 months to fully recover. So without further or do. Watch Out for 'The Maddie Ziegler Movie GET READY'
Everyone claps and cheers. I force a smile on my stage as I wheel off. All the moms + Abby run up to me. My mom was about to open her mouth when I stopped her. "Just Get Ready".
