"Mom, can I go to the movies with Charlie tonight?" Amber asked.
Her mom looked up at her daughter with a slight smile to her lips. The scene unfolded and her mom smiled back in comfort knowing that her daughter tries to have fun.
"Sure. Just make sure to text your father or I when you get there. Be safe." Her mom watched her daughter leave the house in its lonely state once again.
Every day felt like another day of waste as she watched her daughter hide herself from the world and even her own family.
Amber slowly made her way to her car and held her breath. Well, here goes the last chance.
