"Harry I'm really nervous. What if I don't get into Gryffindor with you?" Ali asked in a small, quiet voice as Harry put his and her trunks above them when they finally found an empty compartment on the train.
"You not Griffindor? How could you not be?" Hermione told her with a smile.
"Yeah your whole family is in Gryffindor. There's no way you can't get in." Ron tells her as he sits down next to Hermione.
Harry sat down next to his sister and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Don't worry about it kiddo. Everyone get nervous about it but you don't need to be."
She looked up at with fear and worry still visible in her eyes. "But what if I get into-"
Harry shakes his head. "I doesn't matter which House you get in Alison. I will always love you."
"And we'll still be your friends." Ron tells her.
A small smile spreads across the young girl's face and she hugged her brother tightly. "But I still want Gryffindor."
He chuckled and hugged her back then kissed the top of her head. "I know you do. And I'll be completely shocked if you're not."
She looked up at him and her smile grew a bit as she kissed his cheek. "Thanks Harry."
He smiled and kissed her head again. "Why don't you take a nap? You were up late last night and it's a long ride."
She nodded and laid her head on her brothers lap and slowly fell asleep listening to him hum the song and felt his fingers go through her hair. Harry smiled and kissed Ali's cheek then spent the rest of the train ride laughing and talking softly with Ron and Hermione.
When the train slowly came to a stop Harry looked down at his still sleeping sister and debated whether or not to wake her. The night before had been long and exhausting for the both of them. They had both been getting nightmares and constantly kept waking the other from their screams and/or jostling around. But he knew he had to wake her.
"Ali?" He whispered softly, gently shaking her shoulder. "Ali it's time to wake up."
She groaned and rolled over from her side to her back and looked up at him sleepily. "What?"
He kissed her forehead. "We're here, it's time to get up."
She nodded her head a little and slowly stood up. She stretched her arms, rubbed her eyes, and yawned a few times as they got off the train. She heavily leaned against him, slowly falling back asleep not even a minute after they stepped foot off the train.
Harry sighed and picked her up. "Come on Ali, don't be like this. You need to wake up. Aren't you excited?"
She rubbed her eyes and yawned again. "'M more seepy ten cited." She mumbled, half asleep at this point.
Harry sighed again. He knew exactly how to get her to sleep but was clueless on how to keep her awake.
"Here kiddo, try some of these. It'll wake you right up." Ron handed Ali something that Harry couldn't quite see but wished he could.
"Ron what exactly did you give-" Harry started but stopped in mid-sentence.
Alison had eaten whatever Ron had given her and her face was turning bright red. He quickly set her down and touched one of her cheeks but quickly pulled it back. Her face was as hot as an iron.
