Buckle up everyone: there's a whirlwind of emotions in this one and the next 😂😉
Alison groaned when she was slammed down into the muddy ground on a small patch of first in the middle of a small pond in the muddle of the wheat field. She scrambled to get her wand out if her pocket while getting to her feet.
Sirius put a protective arm in front of her while holding his wand out defensively in front of him, looking around desperately for any sign of Lestrange.
"Bellatrix!" He shouted into the night. "Show yourself!"
Alison spun around when she heard footsteps running toward them and nearly hexed Harry into oblivion when he emerged through the tall grass to where they were.
"Both of you get behind me!" Sirius hissed as the three of them stood back-to-back, searching the fields for any sign of movement.
"Harry!" Alison pushed him aside when she saw Bellatrix's face poking out from the grass, barely managing to block a hex she'd thrown at her brother.
"Look at this!" Bellatrix shrieked, letting out a psychotic laugh. "The baby Potter knows how to fight back!"
"Sirius! Harry! Alison!" Arthur Weasley, Tonks, and Remus joined the other three and a fight broke out that reminded Harry all too much at the fight at the Ministry just before Alison had been take. He refused to let that happen again. He and Alison fended off Lestrange while Tonks and Remus fought off Greyback and Sirius and Mr. Weasley blocked hexes from two masked Death Eaters.
To his utter relief the Death Eaters, realizing they were outnumbered and beginning to lose the fight, shot up in the air one by one and took off into the night sky. He turned to his sister and pulled her into a tight hug, both of them trembling as the adrenaline began to wear off.
"Are you two alright?" Sirius asked as he turned and pulled them apart to look them over and see if either were hurt.
"Let's get them back inside." Remus said as he grabbed Alison's shaking hand and led the group back to the Burrow where everyone was standing anxiously just outside the front door.
A tearful Mrs. Weasley hugged her husband and gave him a brief kiss then pulled the Potters into very tight hugs. "Are you two alright? What happened? Alison you're bleeding!"
Harry's heart skipped a beat as he saw Molly was referring to: a thin lactation on his sister's upper arm, just below her shoulder, that had caused nearly the whole sleeve to turn red with her blood. He quickly began to pull her jacket ( which was actually his jacket he noticed ) off but Alison wormed herself out of his hands and took a couple steps back.
"I'm alright, it's just a scratch." She insisted but Tonks grabbed her tightly by her other arm and led her inside and straight up to the bathroom.
"Come on, let's get this off." The older woman said in a soft voice as she gently tugged on the jacket. "I need to see how deep it is."
Alison shook her head, stepping away from the Auror. "I don't want to."
Tonks sighed and gave her small smile. "Darling, it's just me. It's alright." She slowly reached towards the jacket again and let out a small breath of relief when Alison let her tug it and the sweater she had on underneath it off.
Alison looked down at her bleeding heard Tonks inhale sharply, not blaming her for being startled at the bloody gash on her arm. It truly didn't hurt all that bad, definitely looking worse than it was, but she soon realized Tonks was staring at her left arm instead. At the Mudblood scar Bellatrix had carved into her arm months ago that was beginning to look as those would never fade.
