Alison suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe. She knew Harry would do it, would give himself up to Voldemort to stop this battle. To stop anyone else from getting hurt and killed. She had find him, had to stop him. She had only taken a couple steps when Draco grabbed onto her arm, stopping her.

"Ali, stop. You don't even know where he is." He said softly, slowly pulling her back up the stairs. "Ron and Hermione are with him, they won't let him give himself up."

She nodded her head and let him pull her back inside to the Great Hall where everyone was gathering. The House tables were gone and the room was crowded. The injured were on the raised platform where the headmaster and teachers usually sat, being tended to by Madame Pomfrey and a few others. The dead lay in rows in the middle of the Hall, their friends and families crowded around them.

Alison let go of Draco's hand when she saw Sirius kneeling next to one of the bodies, his body shaking as tears ran down his dirty and blood splattered cheeks. She froze for a moment as she stared down at the two bodies he was hovering over: Remus and Tonks.

She felt tears burning her eyes as she numbly knelt next to her godfather, wrapping her skinny arms around him tightly as he cried into her shoulder.

She looked around and saw the Weasley's gathered around Fred who looked barely conscious, Professor Slughorn tending to a nasty looking gash on Mr. Filch's shoulder, and Professor Trelawney comforting one of the Patil twins as the other lie dead between them. Draco had walked past them to the group of injured students where Balise Zabini was being looked at by Madame Pomfrey, his torso covered in blood.

Sirius' head suddenly lifted from her shoulder and he stood. "Harry." He walked over to his godson and the two threw their arms around each other while Ron went to check on Fred and Hermione pulled Alison into a tight hug.

Alison held onto Hermione tightly, crying into her shoulder as she let herself fully relax and break down, the weight of everything that had happened that evening fully crashing over her.

"It'll be alright." Hermione whispered, rubbing her back soothingly.

Sirius was next to her again, carefully pulling her to her feet and away from Remus and Tonk's bodies. "Let's get you cleaned up." He whispered.

He led her over to the stairs of the platform and sat her down on them, gesturing for one of Madame Pomfrey's helpers to come look her over.

Alison winced as they gently grabbed her head, looking at the still bleeding gash on her head.

"Vulnera Sanentur." They whispered and Alison felt the blood flow stop and the laceration slowly begin to heal.

Sirius produced a wet rag and carefully wiped the soot, dust, and blood from Alison's face. "You alright?" He whispered.

Alison slowly nodded, wiping her eyes. "What's going to happen to Teddy?" She whispered, looking back over at Remus and Tonk's bodies.

"Andromeda and Ted will look after him." Sirius whispered, his voice cracking slightly.

"What about Fred?" She looked to her right at the small crowd of Weasleys. "Will he alright?"
