*Rachel's POV*

"I, Rachel Smith, accept the position as Luna." My voice echoed throughout the crowd.

The crowd cheered and applaud. Are they happy that I'm their Luna? A smile formed on my face.

I felt a hand grip my hand. I looked up and saw Zachary smiling at me. He gave my hand a squeeze.

The ceremony soon ended and we were all partying. Loud music blasted on the speakers. People were talking, eating, and dancing.

I took a sip of the fruit punch that was in my hand. I glanced over at Evelyn who was dancing happily with Jack. The song Style was playing.

It was so cute seeing the two of them together. If only I could dance....

Jack twirled Evelyn and then pulled her closer to him. And right when the song ended, he pecked her lips.

Awwwww. That's so totes cliché.

A new song started playing. I gasped when I realized that it was Just a Dance by Nelly. A frown formed on my face when I remembered that I had no one to dance with and that I was a loner.

I suddenly felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to face them. My eyes met a pair of brown orbs staring down at me.

"Do you wanna dance?" Zach asked, holding out his hand.

A smile formed on my face and I gladly took it. We walked over to the place where everyone was dancing.

I started swaying my hips to the beat of the song. This is honestly my most favorite song ever!!!

I gripped both of his hands and we started dancing like crazy people.

I suddenly started remembering memories of my birthday party. When Zach gave me the necklace and when we both fell into the pool. I mentally laughed when I remembered my reaction when he told me that I was a werewolf.

It feels like it was so long ago. But it wasn't. I feel like a different person. Just a couple weeks ago I had no worries and I was just so relaxed and maintained a life of an average teenaged human girl.

But now, so many things have happened in just a small span of time. I am a werewolf, I have a soul mate who happens to have used to be a player who is also an alpha, which makes me a Luna, and apparently I'm going to have to mate with Zach tonight because of the tradition.

My eyes widened. Oh my God! The tradition!!!

We're going have to do it! And it's even worse because it's planned.

"Are you okay?" I heard Zach's concerned voice, snapping me out of my trance.

"Yeah." I lied with a fake smile plastered on my face. I was just nervous about tonight.

What if I'm not good enough? I thought to myself. What if I disappoint him?!
