Supernova

Once there was a star

Twinkling from afar

But what no one knew

Was that as it flew

Across the sky

It was starting to die.

The star started to fade

As the people did trade

Their wishes with eachother

Rather than trust another

Hope or dream with the star.

It really was quite bizzare.

The people sat and watched

As their beloved light became blotched

They wondered why

But didnt bother to try

And fix it.

But then the star had a fit.

The light expanded

Heat freehanded

Across the sky

Up so high

Little did they know

Their star had long been about to blow.

Brilliant light

Put up a fight

Radiating waves

Of color crazed

This supernova

Was almost over.

A final bang

The star exploded with a clang

Heard all the way

Down here today

The first sound from space

Hitting society right in the face.
