How Did You Expect Me To Cope?

Your eyes hold the beauty of

A world so full of hate and love.

Pull my hand away from the scratch,

Remind me of the dangerous catch.

If I really wanted to die I'd let you go.

Now theres an emotion I can't show.

I wish we could cycle darkness even...

Sweetheart look, I'm still breathin'.

When you can't take it anymore,

I'll be here with a hug, & open door.

Just go on and walk right in,

Send my world into a spin.

For you i'd do anything;

Climb the ocean, break a faiere ring.

One foot in and one foot out,

please, stop this doubt.

I know its tough, I know its hard,

But its well worth the reward.

Curl up with me and sleep soft;

Finally rest, the fears aloft.

Guardian with pale blue wings,

Peaceful energy, electric things.

Chemical fangs and antidote bite;

I'll be with you even after tonight.

I promised that I'd stay,

love to the OtherSide doesn't stray.

To a far off land of drumming rain,

There we will meet our undying fame.

Cascading colours grey's newfound,

Blues, reds, greens, colour ground.

Watch the world explode with life;

Once seemed dead, filled with strife.

Powerful enough to melt the sand,

Eyeliner tears, red wrists bland.

Describing the days as bands,

Disregarding the blood red hands.

Can it be washed away?

I just want you to stay.
