Write With Light

A blot of Darkness,

Was how it all started

The writer so careless.

Words began to spill,

Never a singular

Happy tune to trill.

From their sad mind

Spiraled tales of tragedy,

Nowhere others like it could you find.

Asking will it ever end

And getting the reply

"No time soon, my friend"

Maybe, possibly one day

But definietly, certainly

Not for you today.

You're alive but you're not,

A heartbeat but no pulse

Quite the frightening lot.

Poets across the world

Bear the weight of Death

The only ones who could

Take your life into your hands

Create light with words

Please, with me take a stand.

Dont let Death write the story pending

It doesnt have to be

Another sad, tragic, miserable ending.

Let others worry of the pressing matters

Your happiness shouldn't be

Left in tatters

We've all grown up too fast

Adapting to the posion

Dont let this breath be your last.

Write with light,

Speak the truth even if you stutter

Put up a fight.

Dont let the words be in blood,

But its okay if there

Are tears a flood

I will think no less

We're together

In this mess.

Even if its only a small thing

The light will spread

Real smiles to the world we'll bring.
