The camera zooms in
A lonely girl, alone again.
Dressed in black and red
Oh, she wished she was dead.
She smiled and took another pill
Close to death, what a thrill.
But she was still in pain
Couldn't stand the candied rain...
Tears so sweet
Dropped to her feet
Dripping from her wrist
Hey, it was a nice plot twist.
Her mom walks in
To tell her what a bitch she is;
But the girl can't hear
She's gone, i fear.
And "Mum" breaks down in tears
This, the final use of fatal shears
Her daughter isnt responding
All those years of wasted bondings.
She fumbles for the phone
Hoping the police wont be thrown
"My girl committed suicide"
Speaking as tears do slide
The father walks in, drunk again
Oh yes, quite the man
Cigarette drops from his hand
This is a sight he just cant stand
Another hole in the wall
The weight of condemnation so tall
How could he have been so bad?
No more anger, he isnt mad.
The brother gets home
He wishes he had known
As he holds his sister's hand.
Planning to join her in the dark land.
What his parents dont know
As they bury the girl in snow
That the boy they loved
Now has no reason to live.
5 months later, the pain hasn't faded
His goodbyes increase, not belated.
Someone take away the rope
Someone give him hope.
Angelic or satanic, pick a manic,
A light forms in the middle of panic
His sister has come, warn him from
The death that has no sum.
She kisses him goodbye
And breaks his final tie;
The knot wont let him die
He cried out "Why?!"
So messed up, always stuck in a rut
He knew he had to live, but-
Music his only escape
The one way he could relate.
He won't slit his wrist or his throat
He'll sing another note
Writing song after song
It went this way for so long.
The boy decided he'd be smart
And found himself a band to start.
Started screaming into the mic
Every single night.
The drummer was a very mad guy
Thank god he was shy;
One guitarist simply survived
But on stage they came alive.
The base and the other guitar
Beaten life, together so far.
Slowly a family, better than their own
It just goes to show,
Up on stage to release the rage
Then lock it up back in the cage.
So many they spoke for;
Ended up on the biggest tour.
Saved so many people in return
The bad exposition helped a fire burn
Maybe this was why
So baby don't cry
One day it'll be okay.
