I had barely been able to move my stuff in when Josh sat me down at the table and told me we needed to talk. He slid a piece of rainbow-colored paper and a sheet of glittery star stickers before me. I was quite confused. Did he think I was Riley or something? I mean he should know his own niece by now. Riley and I are nothing alike. At all. He then proceeded to explain that we would have a cleaning and chore schedule. What? So what if things are a mess? Maybe I like them that way... He also told me there would be rewards. Was I some little kid to him? Oh wait, hadn't I always been a kid to him? Wow...
This was gonna be a long seven months.
