Being in a relationship with Luke is great. He's a great guy, he's definitely everyone's ideal boyfriend and you were glad to call him yours. However even before your relationship started you were already insecure about a lot of things. Such as "Why did he pick me?", "Why would he pick a country girl like me?", "He should've picked someone prettier than me" and "I don't deserve to be with him"

Those were your insecurities. The two of you are both from different worlds. No matter how the two of you would try to work things out and go through them together, you just can't help but feel insecure.

"Y/N which ocean are you swimming at?" You snapped out of your thoughts and looked at Luke. "Huh?" Was all you could say to him.

Luke sighed and answered all your questions, "Why did I pick you you asked? I picked you because you're smart, loving, caring, friendly and easy going. Why would I date a country girl like you? Because you're different from everyone else I've met, you're unique Y/N. Why would I date someone who's not as pretty as most of my female friends? They're my female friends for a reason meaning even though they're pretty they've never captured my heart like you did. And as for you last question about why did I end up with you? I ended up with you because every time we talk or even hangout my heart would race faster. I knew I had special feelings for you and I wanted to make you mine. Now please stop comparing you to others, I chose you didn't I? Please have some faith in me Y/N"

And with Luke's response to all your questions you finally felt at ease and pushed all your insecurities away. Not only that but hearing his response made you cry. Everyone would die to have a boyfriend like Luke, and you were glad that he's all yours.
