If you'd been asked two years ago what you thought of sugar daddies you would have laughed. The entire prospect of having someone 'look after" you and provide everything you need struck you as a little weird- wrong, even.

That was before you met Michael.

It was your job that first led you to him. You were working as an assistant to a wealthy businessman who collaborated with Michael for a deal. You, being the hardworking employee you're paid to be, put in all the effort and secured contracts, chased up Michael's workers and oversaw the entire project.

Over the three months you worked in partnership with Clifford & Co. you made quite an impression on the CEO. Although you hadn't realised it at the time, there was something about your driven attitude, impeccable taste and perfectly polished appearance that left a moistened feel in Michael's mouth.

You were thrilled when you were invited to hold a senior position at Michael's firm and immediately accepted, partly due to the doubled pay and partly because of a certain attraction you held for your new boss.

From the beginning Michael always treated you differently, and it didn't exactly go unnoticed. He'd smile on the way past your office, occasionally ask his assistant to get you a morning coffee and would always make you feel included.

He was really the charmer and within only a few weeks the sound of his polished heels tapping against the expensive marble brought a smile to your face.

Then the gifts began.

It was nothing too extravagant at first. The occasional bunch of flowers, a few pairs of earrings here and there. It took a while for you to figure out who was sending them as they were always signed the same way, -M xx. But when you walked in one morning to find Michael positioning a box on your desk it all fitted into place and you realised what was really going on.

"Wh-What are you doing?" You asked, eyebrows furrowing as you kicked your office door closed. Your eyes skimmed across the contracting shoulder muscles rippling underneath his fitted Armani suit.

"Leaving a gift for you, princess, what does it look like?"

You felt your throat run dry and blinked several times. "Is it you? Are you the person who's left presents for me all month?" You put your bags on the ground and slipped round to sit in your leather desk chair.

Michael's beady eyes focused in on yours and he slid his fingers into his suit pockets. "Yes, Y/N, that's me."

"Why?" The obvious question seemed to take him slightly off guard as he contemplated the answer. Michael sighed and leaned forward, his face nearing yours and you couldn't help but focus your gaze on his plump lips.

"I think you're fascinating." He stated simply. A faint blush rippled across your cheeks and you cleared your throat nervously. "How do you know I'm single?"

Michael let out a laugh and pushed some of the objects around your desk until he could sit comfortably.

"I had security run some background checks on you before you started working here. Frankly, I find you intriguing." You raised your eyebrows and debated about telling him how creepy that really was.

"Intriguing how?" You pressed, interested in his opinion of you. "I like how you worked your way up and I especially like your attitude to work. I like how you've maintained relationships in the past and I like your dedication to your partner." He leaned in a little closer and you felt the blood in your body rush to your face.
