I furrowed my eyebrows as I read my note on my iPhone, the one I had made a few weeks ago for my Christmas shopping. I had bought all of my presents, almost, and now I was wondering what present belonged to who.

"Was it not for your aunt?" Calum asked me, nodding to the scented candle in front of me.

I looked at him, gave him a weird look before I searched for a name on my note. "You know nothing," I mumbled as I scrolled down, he wasn't helping me like he had told me he would. We were supposed to be wrapping presents this afternoon but he thought singing and eating food were more enjoyable things to do.

"Oh really?" He chuckled as he finished his fifth chocolate cookie.

"You know nothing about me, Calum Hood," I murmured as I finally realized that the candle was for one of my cousins.

I felt his hands wrap around my ankles and then a few seconds later he had pulled me closer to him. We were sitting on the floor of my festive living room, the smell of candles and food felt comforting.

"You think I know nothing about you when we've been friends for a few years and now we're in a relationship, if you hadn't noticed or if you had forgotten," he said as he looked into my eyes. A little amused smile played on my lips before he pulled me even closer to him.

"We've only been dating for two weeks, idiot," I laughed as he rolled his eyes.

"We already had sex," he pointed out and now it was my turn to roll my eyes.

"That's because we're fucked up," I replied. "Or because you're hot, but that's beside the point," I quickly mumbled to myself but Calum had heard everything.

He smirked.

I kissed his cheek and moved back to where I was and got ready to wrap another present. I felt Calum's eyes on me and he was soon singing another song, one that I had heard him hum a lot recently.

"What do I not know about you?" I heard him ask. I paused to look at him, he looked concern.

"A lot of things," I shrugged as I wrote my cousin's name on a little tag.

"Okay, tell me one thing," he said.

"Uh, I fancy a hot chocolate right now," I giggled as my eyes met his.

He sighed, a little pout on his face.

I smiled, "You'll learn a lot more about me. Don't try to get to know me too quickly, I'm a bit scary," I said as I made a weird scary face. Calum chuckled, apparently I wasn't that scary.

"Okay," he muttered.

"I'm excited to spend Christmas with you," I stated. "Last year I remember wanting you to ask me out so we could be together during the holidays," I admitted, my cheeks feeling a bit hot.

This finally made him smile.

"Took me a longer time to man up," he said.

"You're still a little boy," I cooed and he made an annoyed face. "That I quite like," I added, but it didn't make him smile.

I looked at him as he approached towards me. He gave my lips a kiss before he stood up. "You're annoying but your cookies are fucking good," he said as he headed to the kitchen for more cookies.
