im gonna start uploading on here again, :)
Ashton:
Your eyes snapped open to the early morning darkness, your stomach beginning to churn uncomfortably. You swallowed thickly as you pressed your hand against your stomach, willing the nausea to fade so you could get a few more hours sleep, but as the taste of bile hit the back of your throat you knew that wasn't the case. Covering your mouth with your hand you slipped out from under the covers, heading straight towards the ensuite bathroom.
Your knees hit the tile in front of the toilet just in time, last nights dinner making it's usual morning reappearance, the back of your throat burning with the taste. There was a part of you that knew you should have been a little grateful that your morning sickness was only ever, well in the morning, but when you were bent over the porcelain bowl it was hard to see the bright side.
You jumped as you felt Ashton's fingers glide over the back of your neck, collecting your hair into a loose, makeshift ponytail. You hated that on top of the late nights in the studio that he was also woken up by you before his alarm every morning but you knew that he never held it against you. One of Ashton's hands moved from your hair to rub a slow circle over your shoulder blades as you retched again, finally feeling like you were finished.
Ashton helped you over to the sink, hovering over you with concern as you rinsed your mouth out a few times with water. You gave him a weak, tired smile through the mirror, grabbing your toothbrush.
"I'm okay Ash," You murmured.
"I just wish I could take this for you," He replied, wrapping his arms loosely around your body, resting his chin against your shoulder. "I don't like seeing you like this that's all."
"It's all worth it right?"
Ashton nodded against your shoulder and you smiled as you felt his hands rest over your tummy.
Luke:
You felt your bottom lip wobble as your stomach rolled, a wave of nausea passing over you. You had already been sick four times in the last couple of hours and your body hurt from the effort of it, your stomach empty and aching. There hadn't been anything you found so far that you could keep down, your morning sickness hitting you at all times of the day.
Luke was concerned although he tried not to show it on his face, getting you whatever you asked for without question. He hated seeing you so miserable and sick, especially when it was because of his little jelly bean and there wasn't anything he wanted more than to take this away for you. Your gynecologist had explained that it shouldn't last into your second trimester and Luke hoped that was the case.
A few tears rolled down over your cheeks as the urge to vomit became more pronounced, the taste of bile hitting the back of your throat. Getting up off the couch as fast as you could you ran into the bathroom, collapsing down in front of the toilet. There wasn't much left in your stomach at this point so you mostly just heaved over the bowl, a small amount of bile burning the back of your throat. Luke came in just as you let a loud sob, his arms immediately wrapping around you as you leant back into his body.
"I can't do it anymore," You whimpered sadly, looking up at him with pleading eyes. "Make it stop."
"It's going to be alright," Luke replied quietly, kissing the side of your head. "Just take a deep breath for me."
You did as he asked, feeling only slightly better when the urge passed on. Luke helped you back to your feet and lead you back out of the bathroom towards the couch. He knelt in front of you as you sat down, rubbing his hands over your knees as you sniffed.
"I'm going to make you some ginger tea alright? Michael's girlfriend said that helped a lot during her pregnancy."
You sniffed again as you nodded, hoping that you'd at least be able to keep that down.
Calum:
You smiled gratefully up at Calum as he placed a steaming mug of ginger and lemon tea down in front of you, your hands immediately wrapping around the ceramic. So far into your pregnancy your morning sickness hadn't been too bad at all, normally only making you feel slightly nauseous without throwing your guts up. So this morning when all of a sudden your breakfast had made a quick reappearance, you decided that today was not going to be a day you left your apartment.
You changed back into your pyjamas and texted work, letting them know that you were not going to be coming in before laying yourself down onto the couch with the remote. You hadn't wanted to worry Calum but you were supposed to be meeting him for lunch so you fired off a quick text to your best friend and apologized. You weren't in the least bit surprised when Calum turned up at your door less than an hour later, a grocery bag swinging off his arm. Ever since your ultrasound he had been a doting soon to be Father, bordering on annoying by how worried he was about everything.
As soon as you let him inside he headed for the kitchen, switching on your kettle before emptying the contents of the plastic bag. You chuckled at him, sitting yourself down on the island stood while he busied himself with making you some tea.
"It's supposed to help," He said as he placed the mug in front of you.
"Thanks Cal," You replied with a smile. "But you know I'm okay right?"
"I just want to make sure. I was reading up on morning sickness last night and it said -"
"You were reading about morning sickness?" You cut in with a chuckle, smiling at the way he instantly pouted at you.
"I wanted to be prepared," He defended, crossing his arms over his chest. "So I know what you're going through."
"It's cute," You replied. "I'm sorry for laughing."
"Yeah, yeah. Why don't you just go put a movie on for us to watch."
"What to expect when your expecting?" You joked.
Michael:
You open your eyes slowly to your boyfriend trailing kisses down the side of your neck, his breath hot against your skin. His hands are roaming underneath the t-shirt you're wearing and you smile even wider as you feel him press his palms against your stomach, feeling the small pouch that was already there. Apparently with twins you start showing quicker than in most pregnancies and Michael can barely keep his hands away from you.
You sigh sleepily, shifting yourself onto your side so you can see his face properly, his hair falling in a mess across his forehead. You snuggle into him and Michael places a kiss to the top of your head.
"Morning," You murmur, leaning up to press your lips to the underside of his jaw.
"Good morning," Michael choruses.
You two continue to kiss lazily for a few more minutes before Michael rolls a little on top of you, using his elbows to hold himself up. You smile up at him and go to say something when your stomach suddenly lurches violently, your hand immediately flying up to cover your mouth. Before Michael can react you slip out from under him, running straight for the ensuite bathroom, collapsing down in front of the toilet.
"Aw babe," Michael says sympathetically as you bring up last nights dinner, his hands moving to sweep your hair from your face. "You alright?"
It takes another minute of dry heaving before you sit back on your heels, nodding your head slowly. Morning sickness wasn't everyday for you and sometimes you wouldn't have it for a couple of days, leading you to think that maybe that was all finished with. But when it did come back it was surprising and often painfully violent, your stomach clenching with the force of being sick. It made you feel off for the rest of the day and you often just found yourself curled up in bed watching Netflix.
Michael helped you to stand up and lead you over to the sink, handing you a glass so you could wash your mouth out. You gave him a weak smile through the mirror's reflection.
"I guess the twins wanted to say good morning to you too."
