Your POV:

I leave Silver's bedroom, deciding to keep Claude in there until I could figure out what to do with him. I go down the stairs to the living room, where I found most everybody chatting amongst themselves. Cream and Amy were the first to spot me. They got up from their spots simultaneously to pounce on me. I got squeezed tightly in their arms and was nearly knocked to the ground.

"Thank goodness you're okay!" I laugh at their excited behavior and pat the two on the back.

"Good to see you guys again too." They get off of me, and Amy scans my attire.

"Wow! You look really good in that one," she gushes. I scratch the back of my head with a meek smile on my face.

"Oh, thanks." I turn my attention to the others. "So, what exactly happened to me anyway?" Sonic, who sat at the end of the couch with his head on his hand, is the first to speak up.

"You collapsed on the floor at Egghead's place," he explains.

"Then you reached for something in the corner and passed out, so I had to carry you out of there," continues Knuckles.

"Oh."

"I woke up two nights ago and saw you sleepwalking through the woods," Silver chimes in. "I went out to follow you to make sure you wouldn't get hurt, but I lost you after a while. When I found you again, you were sleeping right outside the house." I blink rapidly in surprise as I process this new information.

'Sleepwalking? But, if that was a dream, why did Mephiles' note make it sound like it was real?'

"I was asleep?" I ask just to be sure. He nods to confirm his claim.

"Looked like it." I nod and take a look around, noticing there's a face missing in the group. Seeing as I know what happened to me now, I decide to change the subject to this.

"Where's Shadow?" I ask curiously. Sure, he didn't seem the talking type, but he did try to protect me when the robots came. I can at least thank him for that.

"Outside." Sonic points his thumb towards the window, where you can see Shadow sitting beneath a tree. He must really like that spot.

"Thanks." I go outside, disregarding the questioning looks on their faces as I leave. It was nice and warm outside, which made the dress more bearable.

'At least it's not cold.' I make my way over to Shadow, whose face was turned up towards the sun with his eyes closed. The moment I stand in front of him, he opens his ruby eyes to look at me. I swear his eyes narrow slightly, but I choose to ignore it.

"What?"

"I wanted to thank you for protecting me when Eggman's robots came." He hums, and a look of contemplation enters his orbs as he stands up.

"I want you to go on a walk with me. There's something we need to talk about," he says in a serious tone. This made me a little nervous. What could he possibly have to talk to me about? Maybe I'm freaking out over nothing? His voice always sounds serious.
